Somehow, I don't think your always online racing simulator will be able to hit 240fps on a continuous basis.

I have loved the GT series from the beginning, but I am fearful that it will never be as good as it once was. The graphics keep getting better, but everything else is getting worse.

I said about a year ago that it will be 599USD. I still think this is valid, unless they go with a much cheaper hybrid drive instead of SSD.

I'll rent it when it shows up at the local Blockbuster.

@boogieman117 Unfortunately, most parents aren't game system savvy and don't know about these types of precautions until it is too late. By the time they realize there is a problem, the credit card is maxed out and the kid is addicted to MTX.

I have never finished a Ubisoft game. I enjoy them at the beginning but they become monotonous and I move on. I enjoyed wandering around the worlds and seeing the sights, but the gameplay and the stories are pretty weak. The last 5 or 6 I've tried can all be summarized by "stop a cult".

I am happy with this month's selection. VR finally getting some love!

@Neolit No, not really. Both the TV and the monitor seem to be equally readable. The monitor might be a bit better when the font color is closer to background color, as the TV gets kind of washed out by ambient lighting.

@Neolit Both. Weekends at home I play on a 55" Sony HDTV while sitting on the couch. During the week I have a 24" Samsung monitor on a desk.

I do not see a problem with font sizes in games. I played some of the games that were considered problematic by others and found them adequate. Witcher3, God of War, Outer Worlds.

I have been using computers and playing video games for around 40 years. I have corrective lenses and sit an appropriate distance from my screen when I am gaming, coding, or doing stupid budget spreadsheets.

For many years, I was dreaming of a Gran Turismo for PS4. I now hope that they hold it off for PS5.

As far as the other games discussed, I am only interested in Cyberpunk. I am on the fence about TLOU2. If they completely re-do the gameplay aspect of the game but keep the quality of story and voice acting, I will pick it up. Ghosts looks very nice, but I am afraid that 95% of the effort is going into visuals, and the remaining 5% is being split between writing, acting, gameplay, and sound.

@LN78 I estimated $649US back when specs just started coming out. It seems that we are pretty close.

I still stand by that price. It ain't gonna be cheap, but still way cheaper than an equivalent PC.

After taking a quick look at the screenshots, I think everyone should give this game a pass. It needs to die.

The whole game was a fetch quest. Go find Ciri and bring her back.

But seriousy, everyone who has played the game realizes that it has several fetch quests. I remember going to find someone's goat.

Focus on releasing a good game first, then think about the DLC.

I just read an article (on a different site) about a game presentation. The panel discussed the game for 30-40 minutes then opended up the floor for questions. The first question was if a certain character is a lesbian. Somebody traveled to E3, waited in many lines, sat through the presentation just to ask this riveting question.

This is likely the only thing I am going to remember from E3 2019.

I would rather have a well written game that is fun to play, rather than a pretty game with fabulous hair. Please put more effort into designing good gameplay than putting lipstick on a pig (or flowing locks on a mannequin).

"three seasons worth of content" makes me nervous.

$60 to purchase the game, then $15 for a new track and 3 new cars a month later, then another $15, and another, and another.

@GigaGaia Since Rage was pretty much a brainless romp, I would assume you can jump right in.

The more articles that say nothing about this game, the less I am interested. This might just be the last article I read.

At this point, I expect to be disappointed again. I have only been on for 4 months, but haven't been interested in any of the offers so far. Dirt 4 or Titanfall 2 would make me happy.
