It's more like the old CRPG's so fans of Planescape Torment would fit in well. But yes as others have said, it's very slow paced. It's basically just a talking game but your skills come from developing your personality into a communist, anarchist etc.
There's a huge wealth of dialogue trees. So be sure you're up for that!
Interesting. You've got Bethesda games heading just to Xbox, PC etc. Then you've got announcements that potentially all Playstation exclusives will eventually come to PC.
I used to like Assassin's Creed but now I'm disillusioned with it, especially with these kind of 'products'.
You'd never see this in a From Dark Souls game. That's just not their philosophy or how they make games. You wouldn't see this in Hollow Knight (a lot cheaper and lots of content). People are right, it makes you understand that if this was implemented, it must've been designed for it to work. With CDPR releasing a mess of a game originally, everyone seems to get greedy in the end when they get a taste of it, except for the rare few and indie games.
I'm learning that you either consume with the masses or you seek out true art, games that are made in true passionate terms without all this nonsense.
It just feels like any other open world game. Not sure what all the hype was though;, there's map icons, side quests etc. Is there a huge amount of RPG elements? It's also like AC Odyssey with tonnes of random gear. At least Valhalla has unique gear.
Certainly a fine game there, but other open world games have done just as well and with lots of decision/consequence. Feels just a little underbaked.
DualSense is pretty great with Demon's Souls. So great that I couldn't imagine playing without it.
The feeling/feedback when you shoot magic in DS just feels right and natural. Makes me curious how they thought and created it at the time. DS is obviously optimised for the DualSense.
When a big monster crashes on the screen and knocks bricks, the feedback isn't sustained; it's actually cut up just like the way bricks fall apart. Impressive stuff.
Actually Netflix is becoming a very viable and alternative option I think, to major big budget studios and Hollywood who aren't funding as many films.
Without Netflix we wouldn't have The Irishman, Roma, I'm Thinking of Ending Things and Fincher's upcoming film Mank amongst other films.
I'd actually swap them around and say Netflix is both Microsoft and Sony. Sure, they produce tonnes of content like Microsoft but also has a few gems like Sony.
Well Skyrim has sold over 30 million units I think, so of course lots of people enjoy their games.
They also have Dishonored, Prey, Evil Within (which I personally love) etc. Plus I don't know how it'll work, but what about potential sequels to Deathloop and Ghostwire?
Not sure it will play Dolby Vision on 4K discs. Xbox has Dolby Vision streaming, but apparently you have to pay a licence for DV on discs, so it's whether Sony think it's worth it.
I think it's more if people live in a household with multiple players using the PlayStation. If you've got a couple of big multiplayer games installed all the time, then a few people who have a couple of their own single-player games installed to play they'll probably struggle for space.
Mass Effect slightly different as Spider-Man is on current gen. People have only just bought the game, many for full price PS4 game, including the game of the year edition.
I'm surprised you're defending Sony, and then getting worked up on top of it. Trust me, waste of time defending a company that just wants your money.
The main takeaway from this I see, is that Sony have locked the PS4 Spider-Man behind a £70 Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. Sure, it's two games, but one which you probably already own. So you have to pay £70 to play it. Extras? Well graphics that's a given. Not sure what additional stuff you mean, other than some new suits?
Meanwhile Microsoft are upgrading Gears 5 to next gen graphics for free, which is on game pass to. Control will get graphical upgrades for £30.
How is what Sony doing okay? I'm genuinely intrigued why you're defending them.
I personally have no problem with disabling likes.
Just get rid of it. What purpose does it serve other than dividing people into sides? Would we be any worse off if likes disappeared, would it make a difference?
Plus YouTube comments, which are usually cesspools for people to hate and argue. There's no intelligent discourse, no debating, it's pure herd mentality. People are all patting each other on the back for hating a game that isn't even out yet, and they push each other on. If you disagree with them you're laughed and sworn out.
No, I think removing the whole thing would be a lot better. Get rid of it all until we grow up, intellectually and just as a society.
@MS7000 Yes but unfortunately humans have proved they're too narrow minded and immature to be given any sort of responsibility.
You find me actual articulated, well thought out arguments and debates on YouTube comments, that isn't frenzied attacking and hateful speech. People just want to push their agenda onto other people.
I learn nothing from online comments from YouTube except how disturbed the human race is.
If people were human we could do it, but all creative subversion decisions in big franchises have proved again and again how toxic we really are, and how YouTube videos and comments perpetuate and justify this absolutely awful human behaviour. They have no idea of the influence these 'YouTubers' have, and people have no clue as to the influence they have on each other in a hateful and negative rampage. Star Wars, Game of Thrones. People have actually sent Death Threats about some thing like a show. Seriously? Disturbing.
@Adam47 Why should Obsidian suffer because of Microsoft's (we assume) decision? These devs put hard work into it, before Microsoft ever bought the rights.

Re: Epic Games Offered Sony $200 Million to Bring PS5, PS4 Exclusives to Its Store
It's funny, I thought Epic were the 'underdogs' and were trying to open the market with Steam.
Sounds like they want to own the market.
Re: Returnal Runs at 60 FPS in Dynamic 4K with Raytraced Lighting on PS5
This is cool. With Hades getting such big and sort of mainstream attention, roguelikes seem to be in the spotlight at the moment.

Does anyone know, do literally any pair of headphones work for the 3D Audio? I don't really play online so wasn't too bothered about the Pulse headset

Re: Konami Says Legendary PS4 Demo P.T. Won't Play on PS5
See, people were surprised P.T wasn't on the list for games not on backwards compatibility, but looks like it can't play on PS5 anyway.
Granted it was just a demo, so may not mean anything, but I do wonder if we'll eventually find some more games not playable on PS5.
Time will tell.
