Re: PS5 DualSense Drifting Triggers Class Action Lawsuit

SilenceCZ

@LittleToyTitan As a matter of fact I have worked several years for a major game retail as well, in Czech Rep. and can totally agree with you. Of course, Nintendo Switch drift is a major problem, but there weren’t any problems with replacements. All major companies were helpful regarding HW issues.
Interesting fact for Pure Xbox readers here: Microsoft’s customer service is by far the best for the end consumers, at least in my country.
The DualSense lawsuit probably won’t make any meaningful difference.. Sony will eliminate the problem, Nintendo unfortunately didn’t till now and that’s why there’s this DualSense lawsuit copycat.

Re: PS5 DualSense Drifting Triggers Class Action Lawsuit

SilenceCZ

I already had my launch PS5 in for warranty repair due to faulty GPU and associated misbehave in certain games, but otherwise all is well! Always had everything Day 1, never had a problem till now.
This “Never buy Day 1” ruckus is unnecessary really, all ware is bound to have some damage rate. It’s all about who’s the unlucky one to deal with it.
Don’t worry, hopefully soon there’ll be more consoles for everyone! ✌🏻

Re: Harry Potter Fans Share Their Hopes and Dreams for Hogwarts Legacy

SilenceCZ

@get2sammyb Don’t forget about suddenly cancelled Broomstick League video game, that just disappeared without any proper explanation, from early access and PS4 preorders as well. Developers only stated that they have a lot to share in the future (2020, which is already past us). I still believe Warner used the studio for a new Quidditch title or they incorporated their work into Hogwarts Legacy.

Re: Round Up: All Our Game of the Year Winners

SilenceCZ

Godfall was pretty good in my opinion! Completed the whole game with my friend online and we had a blast. Looter-slasher, nothing more than that. We got exactly what was advertised.
Anyhoo, The Pathless was my #1, glad it made it to Top 10!

Re: Game of the Year: #10 - The Pathless

SilenceCZ

I was crying at least for 10 more minutes after the end of the game.
After 8 long years I finally got the spiritual successor to Journey, the masterpiece I purely love. No need for more words.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Is a Massive 102GB Download on PS4

SilenceCZ

@Reyren COD was the case for several releases since there wasn't the whole game on the disc and it needed to download the rest. They were probably too lazy to print a 2nd blu-ray disc.
Since it's not state anywhere on the cover of the game, I believe it will be playable without any need for update.

Re: Feature: Our PS5 Impressions After One Weekend of Play

SilenceCZ

I love everything about my PS5, just sad I can’t play any Insomniac Games since all of them (including Ratchet) are showing glitches in form of black squares popping everywhere. Fortunately in a month I should get a replacement and until then every other game is working just fine.
Demon’s Souls is giving me a hard time though

Re: Random: Someone Put the PS5's Pad Under a Microscope

SilenceCZ

@get2sammyb It’s not spaghetti, but at Gamescom 2013 (I think) they were handing out PlayStation Haribo candies in the shapes of PS symbols (only in the entertainment area). What a great piece of souvenir to have in your collection! Unfortunately I ate them right away

Re: The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope - So Much Better Than Man of Medan

SilenceCZ

@thefourfoldroot The thing is that after magnificent Until Dawn, they were working on 3 titles at the same time and neither end up Great, so it wasn’t the best decision to split the work like this. Bravo Team wasn’t critically acclaimed at all, even with the use of VR Aim, The Inpatient was good, but could be better and Hidden Agenda was a bit shallow in the end. One perfect game would be better than several mediocre. The titles even shared some 3D character models (lazy) and they just took a bigger bite than they could swallow.
So push squares comment is understandable from the general point of view. I’m happy as well they’re focusing on one thing they’re good at.
Even then, I’d love Rush of Blood 2!

Re: Hands On: Astro's Playroom Is an Extraordinary Demonstration of DualSense

SilenceCZ

@get2sammyb Regarding the DualSense and its haptic feedback, so we can understand it better.
Scenario: If you haven't played the game yet (but you're familiar with it) and you get to hold the controller, blindfolded, getting to feel many different surfaces like water, sand, ice, etc. - would you recognize each surface easily? How much accurate would your guess be, without knowing what's occuring on the screen?

Re: Ghost of Tsushima a 'Commercial Delight' Beyond Sony's Expectations

SilenceCZ

@TheFrenchiestFry Yeah it is. Naughty Dog is first party since 2001, Sucker Punch 2011 and Insomniac is new as we know.
But ND + SP were always PlayStation Exclusives (if we omit their first games). Only Insomniac was always trying something here and there but luckily for us, their main successes were always on PlayStation.
But be aware: Insomniac was quite successful at VR development the last several years. I’m very much eager to find out What’s their VR division cooking for PS5.

TLTR: Give us Jak and Daxter 4!

Re: Ghost of Tsushima a 'Commercial Delight' Beyond Sony's Expectations

SilenceCZ

When I see some comments here.. I always had Sucker Punch on par with other studios.
Alas don’t forget the holy PS2 trinity: Insomniac, Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch (Ratchet, Jak, Sly). For many years, by all of them, we were getting splendid content and just because Sucker Punch took their time with another game hit, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t present with their qualities all time long Kudos!

Re: Hands On: The New PS App Is a Humongous Upgrade

SilenceCZ

I like the App’s PS Store. Description, screenshots and trailer are included, plus each game is offering you all of its editions through its game hub, without any need of going back to search bar to look up ALL THE MANY Miles Morales releases that Store offers. Me likey!

Re: Bugsnax Trailer Sets the Scene Ahead of PS5, PS4 Launch

SilenceCZ

@wiiware Nope, it’s a special 2 months offer for PS5 PS+ subscribers, as was done in the past with other titles like Knowledge is Power, RIGS, and such. It’s not a part of PS Plus Collection seemingly.
I firmly hope that any PS+ member will be able to claim this game through the PS Store via PC or mobile.
It would make sense at least given how things worked till now.

Re: No Man's Sky PSVR Can Be Played on PS5 via Backwards Compatibility

SilenceCZ

I’ve played for couple of hours in VR, but sadly the graphical fidelity isn’t much since the HW limitations (Still no Pro update if I’m correct). Once they release a PS5 VR version I’m more than looking forward to embark on this Exploration of Space <3
Hopefully with PSVR 2 and new motion controls which will fit perfectly to your in game hands

Re: Until Dawn PS4 Improvements Are Unfortunately Wishful Thinking

SilenceCZ

@Leon_93 If it was Decima, then it’s understandable they use a different one now since it’s multi platform series. But it’s very interesting to see that the tech problems are exactly the same even though they changed the engine. FPS plus very visible texture pop-in. It’s quite a big contrast combined with their ultra nice textures and character models.
I remember the Until Dawn demo at Gamescom I played was WAY more buggy so in comparison the final product was quite perfect.
OH! If Man of Medan was uncapped as well, that would explain why Curator’s Cut was way less choppy than the Theatrical Cut since in between I changed my thermal paste and cleaned the console! It seemed odd
