i bet ps4 spiderman will get a definitive/complete edition on the ps5.

@Flaming_Kaiser they patched the ps3 version later, thats why you had no problem with it i guess. but for the poor guys that did play it day one, they did lose hours of gameplay when the save file got corrupted.. and the goty dont have patches or dlc on disc, its totally worthless. i agree the dlc was not that good either, and with the directions they have taken tlou2, i am not gonna get it. i much more prefer lara croft in tomb raider. she is all about the action and dont bang chicks on side quests.

@Flaming_Kaiser the ps3 version of The Last of Us had a game breaking save bug, and they goty that was released on the ps3 later was just vanilla disc and dlc voucher. then they released the remastered for the ps4 with dlc on disc... so with one year until ps5 arrive you can expect much of this bs gonna happen now with the coming last games for the ps4.

@munkondi this is just the way its gonna be now for most of the game released before the ps5. they now have a more powerful hardware the ps5 dev kits, and cant be arsed to take the time to finish the game or optimize them when ps5 is a year away of release. its all about getting the games they have now out the door before the ps5 and then re-release the game as goty/complete editions for the ps5. we have been here before when it happen for the ps3 with ps4 arriving in 2013. but i guess people forget easily.

its just best to wait for the ps5 goty, if you not want to deal with all this broken bs and get a half arsed game experience. with this clearly unfinished game that will never run smooth on the ps4pro, because they are not gonna bother to optimize it when the ps5 comes out next year. we have already been through this with the ps3 and ps4 back in 2013.

@gamer_since_83 activision did hold back info on purpose and did not do a option for people to preload the free open beta. this sneaky way of doing it was done to get people frustrated so they would preorder the game to get the beta, that is what happen. the free open beta download did go live 10am pst europe time yesterday (its a 48gb download so the first week will be short for the most of us, because of activisons bs). and infinity ward did give out open beta code on twitter an hour earlier than 10am (i accidentally stumbled over this, so i got my free open beta from there a bit earlier). i had to dig the internet to find out all this info yesterday. activision could have just typed this info on their official mw2019 web page. but we know now that mw2019 is gonna be released unfinished and have loot boxes as with everything cod (i thought this would change for mw2019, but clearly not) and you have to sign up to their activision web page to access the online because crossplay bs. this game will be bought on sale for sure, no way in hell i pay the ridicules full price activision wants. and i just hope the single player is good and at least last 10 hours. what i have tried of the online mp so far is ok, but its the same old cod you played 10 years ago, no surprise there.

looks like it is gonna be more and more unfinished games rushed out the door before the ps5 release, that is just a year away. so its best to wait and see with each game release from now on, instead of buy day one. because most likely there will be ps5 releases (goty/complete edition etc) of them coming that will play better.

@naruball did you play it day one or months later?, also the vita is another build than the ps3 version.

i played two seasons of this mess on the ps3 and that was enough, so i am not getting this.

so if you have a ps4 you can start playing from 14-16, and then again from 21-23. that is plenty of time to play the beta and get a feel of the game. there is no reason to pre-order that is for sure, if you are not a butt mad cod fanatic that is, lol.

its basically $20 for a legendary skin, a exclusive banner, a badge and some in game coins. its a rip off and nothing more.

@carlos82 it works both way, they abuse people with their greedy monetizing in the game, release it broken and sell a product with gambling rated pegi3 for kids.

they are not keen on it getting personal. but have no problem releasing a broken game, taking 60 for it, put a casino in it, pay off youtubers to shill card packs for them and age rate it pegi3 for kids. all the ugly they get is well deserved.

i will hold back my enthusiasm until i know how intrusive the microtransactions are gonna be, how big download the day one bug patch is, and i know the whole game can be played offline.

@ApostateMage with the always online requirement and no option to play offline. they clearly indicate what direction they want to go in with breakpoint. this is a 'service game' where they intend to get you engaged and monetize you for years to come. wildlands i fear is the last game that resemble anything of old ghost recon we will get.

with this game landing on the top as a top seller, it just tell you uk have a big gambling addiction problem among their population. something seriously need to be done about this. but with the mentality from the 80's "games are a kid thing and not for grown ups" that is still around, it will sadly not be taken seriously.

i will say this after playing the alpha and now the beta, wildlands is better and you can play it offline too. breakpoint feels like cut dlc content that was not good enough for wildlands. so i will not be getting this game that is for sure, i fear this is the start of the end for the ghost recon games series.

release them with all the patches and dlc on disc then we can start calling it a collectable. reselling unsold copies with new printed cheap arse paper sleeves and calling it collectable is a joke.

i hope they put some effort in when it come to the ps4 version, and they will heavily upgraded the game and its graphics. because the switch version game look like a ps2 game that just got a straight hd port, its 2019 now and not 2006 so this is not acceptable.

another one of them 100 always online live service games that you depend on other players to play, and i bet it will also be filled with microtransactions, loot boxes and gems etc like a mobile app. just die already we dont need more of this garbage.

always online and a live service games stuffed with season passes/dlc and mtx, where you depend on other people to get the best out of the game, no thanks, i have to draw the line somewhere.

dirt rally2.0 was an always online mess of a game. so wrc8 already crush that garbage with just letting you play offline, if you want to and not depend on your online connection to not cut out and you lose the race. and if you have played wrc since the ps2 days you know the cars have always behaved a bit unpredictably. what i have read so far about this game on other places, makes this new wrc8 a good game and a worthy opponent to dirt4.

this months ps plus games are ok, it could have been worse.

they should have made the game with lan support and released a complete edition at retail. now the game is unplayable and sadly goes to the digital junkyard.

so why release it this early at all then???.. they basically released a unfinished game, and used the preorder/early buyers as free beta testers. this is just disgusting and not acceptable!

also the dlc voucher will expire on 08/28/2022, yeah its really an honor to get this crap release, where they are so greedy they cant even bother to give us a proper goty with everything on the disc.

ok i found out, its voucher and not on disc, and its probably just a repacked vanilla disc with none of the updates on it and only have new printed label and cover, in other words its worthless to me..

digital only or will there be a disc release too with everything on the disc?

they only need to remake resistance3, it had the best graphics, best story and you could coop it with a friend. its a stand alone story too, so very good for a restart of the series. the two first are too outdated and have not stood the test of time and is not very good games today.

This game needs a remaster!

It's a great game, i hope for a remaster.
