My own experience is saying that the content of the list isn’t to be believed. We’ve already had lots of years which might have been decent, but then games were delayed and… oh, ’ I’m sorry guys, but the projects will be released when everything’s done’.
I think the movie has been good enough if we are talking about action and atmosphere as they are, but the cast… The cast is awful.
Tom Holland doesn’t look and act like Nathan in the video games. What about Sully… What have they rewritten his character for? What were they thinking? I dunno. It’s awful.
Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland are good actors, but they played other characters — not Victor and Nathan.
It looks fairly interesting. I like line-up video games because almost all of them are much better than the dead open world nature created by Ubisoft and some other companies.
But you should have warned it’s all about the modern God of War. Honestly I waited to see something like Dante’s Inferno but about the Wild West and vampires.
Honestly I’ve been tired of counting how many there were Sonic’s remasters through the years on different platforms. I guess SEGA ought to concentrate its powers on making some new perfect games rather than trying to reopen the big old dust game box again.
Yes, Yes, I know about the existence of Sonic Frontier, but I doubt the game might be perfect.
There were plenty of such situations. For instance, I can remember how LucasArts showed the new Indiana Jones tech-demo during the middle of 00s, but in the end it hadn’t been created as a game.
Unfortunately it’s the main factor in the ideal world where plenty of gamers are ready to try something new. Usually publishers choose games that are known to a wide audience.
In addition, it doesn’t matter whether a gamer played the concrete project or not. It’s more important if they heard something about the one or not. That’s why publishers don’t hurry up to re-releases unknown games.
If you look at the modern market, you won't see a lot of unknown projects that were refurbished to be released on modern systems.
It isn’t good of course, but we have what we have. What about me? I like trying something new.
To my mind, it isn't a good idea to create a remaster of the game which wasn’t published outside Japan before. The main factor for such projects is gamers’ nostalgia, but it’s hard to feel something like that in a game you’ve never seen. The game you didn’t get any opportunity to play.
If Sony or any other publisher made a remaster of the Syphon Filter trilogy, I would be the first in the line to buy it, but this one… No, thanks.
I’ve got one problem with this one. Why have they made April so flat and brutal? I mean… if developers wanted to create an atmosphere of the old show, what did they change the main heroes for?
I haven’t played it yet, so everything might be wonderful, but the visual style looks strange enough if we are talking about the trailers.
Whoa, take it easy! Original Crisis Core was one of the reasons to buy PSP (God of War spin-offs and some other games were included in the deal too of course).
If Square Enid makes the remake like they’ve already made with seventh, it will be a celebration for fans.
I have nothing against any souls like projects. Besides, there are lots of brilliant games, but I suppose there must be different titles around the industry .
Souls is popular of course, but DMC is cool too . I hope everything will change sooner or later.
I’d like to say one unpopular, but necessary thing. We have too many souls like games. I’d prefer to get a classical slasher like Devil May Cry or Dante’s inferno, but not another one clone.
It makes me sad that developers/publishers have forgotten about action games which do not force gamers to suffer.
I’m glad such guides are still being published. Honestly there is something special in buying paper books, magazines etc.
I mean digital products aren’t able to surrogate the good old books as well as digital copies of video games couldn’t serve as analog classical discs with manuals in boxes.
I don’t argue with that argument — Dragon’s Dogma was a brilliant game. But Capcom makes sequels with a narrowed audience rarely enough, so I doubt part two will be shown.
Every time I read something about multiplayer spin-offs, I remember the two games for PS2 called Outbreak.
It wasn't a perfect series, but file one and file two had the cool idea to allow gamers to play as ordinary people, not bad-ass cops or that kind of stuff.
Every character had their unique ability. It was interesting. Unfortunately PS2 wasn’t able to afford to show the idea how it deserved. So I hope we’ll have remakes sooner or later.
Bethesda: fans want to get New Vegas 2 and remakes the first two installments. Fans: Yeah, guys, we want. Bethesda: it’s time released the new expansion to Fallout 76. It’s a perfect idea! Fans: oh, ***** *angry
As I can see , the choice to have such a camera angle depended on the technical side of developing games back in the 90s.
By the way, I knew plenty of RE fans who said the camera angle forced the original trilogy (plus Code Veronica, Remake and Zero) to be like movies and other kinds of things. It was a popular subject on old forums .
What about the control scheme, I agree with you. The scheme from the modern remakes is perfect.
It’s a controversial subject. Back in the 90s, there wasn't a common control scheme for all games like it is now.
Today we’ve got used to moving a game character using the left stick and controlling the camera with the right stick, but this scheme appeared, as an industrial standard, in the 00s.
In the 90s developers chose their own path for every title. As a result almost all 3D games were controlled like crap. That’s why Resident Evil didn’t look awful with its tank scheme.
It doesn’t seem Capcom is going to reveal the next game during the event, but we might have the remake of the original one.
The publisher loves to create some new games based on the previous IP. We’ve already seen Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, so maybe the time of Dragon’s Dogma is coming.
What about the original game, it was a very strange project which didn’t look like a typical western rpg, but at the same time it wasn't a jrpg.
Yes, it was strange, but a little bit. They just made the same Resident Evil 4, but with co-op mode.
Honestly It wasn’t something extraordinary for Capcom. Just remember Resident Evil 2 which was the same game as the first entry, but we had the police station instead of the estate and more action sequences.
I think it’s a good idea to allow gamers to shoot and walk at the same time.
I’m crazy about the original title, but the concept when you have to stop for shooting looked a little strange in the 00s, because, and it was obvious, Capcom was making an action game.
So it was strange why Leon couldn’t use his gun and run at the same time.
Oh, I’m not surprised by such a score and the conclusion. Supermassive has always been able to create a strong narrative, portray some interesting heroes, but gameplay of its games… was always average.
It’s true even if we are talking about Until Dawn. There was entertainment plot, interesting heroes, but gameplay and camera — both of them might have been better.
In my opinion, Resident Evil looks very old fashioned, even compared to its 32-bit sequels: RE 2 and 3.
What about games… I’ve been dreaming of getting the Twin Snakes on PlayStation. It was one of the most important reasons to think of buying GameCube back in the days.
in my opinion, It’s strange logic. What are similar between both Suiside Squad and Sunset Overdrive? There are much game with colorful world in game industry. So if we will go through that logic we will able to say that new game by Rocksteady and, for example, Jet Set Radio are siblings.
I don’t know. It’s strange logic but I’d like to take Sunset Overdrive for PS4. We have already got Cuphead so why not? I suppose the reason why Sony don’t launch that game is it’s ex Xbox exclusive.
Hm, it seems so dumb. I have no idea for what WB Montreal has changed battles and added some rpg elements but it’s so stupid. As result we’ll get another one service game instead good bat’s sequel, thank you very much. I think Warner bros has sensed itself like Ubisoft. But I think, it’s normal after last part of Mordor series with all of that orc recruiting etc.

I hope it won’t be the same situation like the announcement of TES 6, when Bethesda showed the logo and we still don’t have anything else.

Yeah! I’m glad to hear that. The original title wasn't a brilliant action game , but it was fun to slash enemies.

Yeah, Blizzard, it’s the absolutely right decision. People, who’ve already paid for the game, need to have as many microtransactions as possible.
Give us plenty of commercial stuff like armour, swords etc. oh, to be frank, it looks like damn ***** to pay extra money for nothing.
