I would prefer a remake of the original but with about 8-10 hours of content cut out!
The game was really good at first, but it went on far too long and I got bored about halfway through!

For about £500 I would buy it. £700 is crazy for a console though! Maybe once there is a hefty price cut, but I might just wait for PS6 depending on how long that might take!

Any Legacy of Kain content is great! I will happily take a remaster of two of the best games in the series and hopefully we get some full remakes of all the games (especially Blood Omen) down the line!

The problem I have, is that I love the From Software games, but no other Souls-like I have ever played has ever come close to being as good.
A lot of them just feel wrong and many of them think that the way to make a Souls-like is just to make the game hard by having enemies with ridiculous amounts of health so they take ages to kill rather than making, which is not really any fun.

I would really like the Souls-like style in more games that are just easier to be honest, like Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor. Both have great mechanics and very Souls-like combat mechanics, but the games are pretty easy, which I am a big fan of!

I was really excited about this when it was first announced, but after the Dead Space remake was announced I just lost most of my interest in Callisto Protocol.
I will probably pick it up once it is discounted or on PS Plus or something, but for now I am holding out for the Dead Space remake to get my Sci-fi horror fix.

This was pretty much the only thing for this month's PS Plus update that I cared about so it is pretty annoying that I cannot access it just because I own another version of FFVII Remake.
Surely this should not be that difficult for Sony to sort out?!

I cannot really see what more people could have been expecting. We knew there were not going to be any huge first party games like God of War 2 or whatever is next from Naughty Dog, so no-one can be disappointed they were not there.
What was there was excellent. Some really big games (RE4 remake, FFXVI, SFVI) and some smaller, but still exciting games, like Callisto Protocol, Tunic being announced, PSVR titles being shown, plus a load of other stuff.
Really had something for pretty much everyone (except maybe if you are only into racing games, I do not think it had any of them that I can recall).

A full remake of all the Legacy of Kain series would be incredible.
Even just a re-release of the games with updated controls and some modest graphical upgrades would be fine!

Ghostrunner is a good game, but it is a shame when the PS Plus monthly games are already available on PS Now.
Makes having both services a bit pointless, maybe they should merge them...! 👀

Would have probably bought it already, but I am waiting for Elden Ring to come out as my next big game. I will buy Horizon once it has a bit of a price drop most likely.

Wow! There have been some crap months of PS Plus before, but this has to be one of the worst I can remember.
I really hope next month is an improvement!

Dick move by Sony. Not really the friendliest of moves for the fans who had a PS4 and now have a PS5 (or who are planning to buy one once they are a bit more available).
It is bad enough that PS5 games are already at a premium price compared to PS4 games, but to not even give the option to upgrade from PS4 to PSt is really *****!

I cared about nothing that EA announced or showed except for the Dead Space remake. However, that alone is enough for me to rate it as very good!

Day one purchase!

I do find it really astounding that Sony do not have any real answer to Game Pass.
PS Now could be it, but currently has nowhere near the same quality of offering.

Particularly with new game prices being so high now, I think it is inevitable that Sony are going to lose some sales to Microsoft, particularly for the people who are mostly buying multiplatform games, many of which are going to Game Pass but are full price on PS4.

I think it is quite clear that Sony's statements around generational divides were untrue.
I understand continuing to support previous consoles, but I would also like to see more game exclusive to just the PS5 rather than having so many games being cross-generational, particularly when talking about games coming out in 2022, such as God of War Ragnarok.

I hope it includes cross-save for those people who have already played it on PC or Switch.
I would love to okay the game on my PS5, but I would not want to start it all over again!

I think he is wrong that no-one will buy wired VR, but I think that everyone would prefer it to be wireless and there are definitely many people who will not buy wired VR if there is a wireless option available.
Having bought the PSVR a couple of years ago, I will probably not buy another wired VR headset. I am looking more at getting the next iteration of Oculus Quest, whenever that may come out.

No need for a new service, but Sony do definitely need to compete directly with Game Pass.
PS Now can easily be improved to serve that purpose (preferably bundled with PS Plus for a bit of a bulk saving).

That is a shame. I was looking forward to playing this, but I am worried it might be a bit lost in the shuffle releasing in September when there will no doubt be plenty of bigger games coming out too.

If you want the minimal impact from packaging then just go digital. No packaging at all!

It is nice to have the game names back, but the new store is still far, far worse than the old one in my opinion.
The lack of the wishlist is still a big issue for me, but in general I think the new store is far more clunky and much harder to navigate than the old one.

I mean, the two phrases are literally identical in meaning. Anyone who thought otherwise clearly does not understand English very well.

Really, really poor update to be honest.
I did not really have much of an issue with the old store anyway, but this a huge backwards step!

My biggest complaint is the removal of the wishlist functionality. I really just cannot understand why Sony would remove this as it makes people less likely to purchase games, as without being able to wishlist games people are much more likely to forget about them, or not notice when they go on sale and purchase them.

@Flaming_Kaiser Well obviously the could not really check the physical copies of the base game, but they could just go by the DLC (probably safe to assume that anyone with the DLC will also have the base game).

If that is the case, why do they not simply give the Ultimate Edition to everyone who owns the original game and the DLC?

Looks good, but I think they might need some better spell-checking; "Slaughted monster" near the end of the trailer...
