The indie offering will be Oxenfree as I bought it in a recent sale and Sony have an uncanny habit of reading my mind. Still, it's an absolute gem with a killer soundtrack so the more people that get to play it the better!
It's Shenmue! I would be happy enough with nothing more than the original graphics, I just want the rest of the story. Saying that, surely it would have made more sense to get Sega onboard from the start and lifted the Yakuza Zero engine?
If only it were a 'legacy' edition pro, fully back compatible with the whole PlayStation family of consoles, just pop your original discs in and play. I'd buy it in a flash!
I haven't quite got round to finishing 4 yet, but I did pre-order to nab the free Jak and Dexter Precursor Legacy bonus that comes with it - I'm suitably excited for both 😊
Picked up Divinity Original Sin and Thief. Nearly bought Divinity yesterday when it was still full price, what a great surprise this morning to see it reduced 😊 Thief I purchased when it launched and traded it in, I didn't really rate it that much but I did love the atmosphere and when the missions clicked it was good, so happy to pick it up again for a mere £4!
Sounds kinda "meh" to me. Despite the good review I echo the other comments on here that simply being 'good' isn't enough this year. Still, if Sony nab it for ps plus in a couple of years I'll give it a go 😊 To those of you that do buy it, hope you enjoy!
@get2sammyb Darn your excellent review has convinced me to part with yet more cash 😁 I'm a big fan of Ninja Theory's works though so, I'm happy to support them.
It's backlog attack time, trying to force myself to complete at least one game a month. So just finished AC Syndicate and am now playing Uncharted 4, it's incredible so far. Also playing a bit of Ghost Recon Wildlands and Dying Light with my son in co-op, more for fun than serious completion.
The Scorpio sounds like a fantastic bit of hardware and MS have nailed the use of the extra power/resolution aspect. Sony should definitely 'borrow' a few of their ideas for the Pro. But without great exclusives other than the tried and tested trio of Halo, Gears and Forza, MS are still way behind Sony when it comes to software. It's PS2 vs OgXbox all over again.
If anyone has any ideas how I can give up work to play games, but continue to be paid I would really appreciate it 😉 Seriously, this year is ridiculous for unmissable games and my backlog grows and grows. I love it!
I got NMS at launch, but only played it briefly. What I did play of it though I enjoyed, I'm looking forward to starting it afresh though, this and the last big update seem to have improved the game massively. Props to the devs for continuing the support, after some of the (excessive) hate they received it must have been tempting to give up and slip quietly away.
@Dreamcaster-X you'll have the exact same setup as me. When I upgraded to 2tb I thought it would last, but it's scary how fast it fills up. I keep telling myself having a hefty backlog is a good thing!
Sony have been quiet on their reason for dropping it as an exclusive. Alarm bells are ringing, they have a pretty good eye for snapping up the best, I'm scared!
So wanting this for the boost mode and external HDD support. I'll finally be able to play Just Cause 3 at a semi-decent frame rate! Not releasing today is a shame, but no biggie. Perhaps Sony are ironing out some glitches with boost mode, I understand Soma and a few others had some issues.
Last week was (imho) the greatest week in gaming, Horizon on Wednesday and Zelda on Friday. 2 giants of the gaming world excelled themselves. For all the crying us gamers do, what a great time to be alive. Now somehow need to find the time to play all the games...third world problems eh?!

Re: Review: White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (PS4)
Nice review, sounds to me that this will be a fair pick up in next years big summer sale.

Re: Rumour: Okami HD will Paint a Pretty Picture on PS4 Later This Year
Didn't the ps3 release render at 4k then downsampled to 1080p? I'm sure I remember reading that somewhere...

I've bought a fair bit in the Summer and Digital sale so I can guarantee it will definitely be one of them...

Re: Review: LEGO City Undercover (PS4)
Surely they could have fixed the load times? That aspect alone killed the WiiU version for me. Disappointing.
