@Gemuarto

For what it's worth, most other reviewers seem to agree with us on this one. Polygon, Nintendo Life and IGN all gave it a 9 as well. The only review I've found so far with a score of less than 8 was GameSpot's, which was a 7. But from the looks of things, a lot of the readers really got on the author for that.

Not trying to defend myself or the review, just pointing out that most people seem to agree that this is a game worthy of the score we gave. Everyone has opinions, though! That's what makes this worthwhile.

@Johnnycide I see your point. Granted, there are a lot better games out there. But I'm not sure I agree about the Plus bit — some more variety would be nice, but there have definitely been some extraordinary titles to come out of it. Just off the top of my head, I'm thinking of Apotheon.

I think that after about 700 words I've said my piece, but I really don't understand all the hate people have for this game (not in the comments here, but just based on what I've seen on other sites).

Like someone gave it a 3/10. Really?

Is it challenging? Yeah, definitely. Is that challenge always fair? Not necessarily. But it's still a fun enough game, especially considering that it was free this month.

Second Son was already goregous. The reason I was so disappointed with it was because of the gameplay. If they really want to raise the bar then they should focus on creating a more interesting combat system and environment — Second Son was super dull compared to inFamous 2. I was so let down.
