@djlard people who bought early access didn't know there was a race so nobody not even blizzard did what you claim. Which does make it unfair to those who bought standard. In fact had blizzard notified people of the race when pre orders opened, it would have actually made things fair. Sure they are charging for a race but at least you know that upon choosing your purchase, so it's your choice to handicap yourself.

It's actually a good month there's been some bad months, this isn't one of them.

Oh. That's next week. We'll see if that impacted what Sony showed. I know if Sony shows some really good things people will wonder why Sony didn't include them in their own show. My retort would be maybe they wanted to give a spot light to games that wouldn't be shown off at summer fest. Guess we just have to wait and see.

@PC_Peasant you need ms to remove games from Sony system..... how is that good for competition exactly?

I'll be getting the platinum, hard core level 50 will be the toughest for me but after some time with the game, I should be able to get my necro that high since I can just grind dungeons.

@Ravix d3 was c always online on pc, 10 years ago. Path of exile is currently live service. It's not ideal, but the the worst circumstance.

@LifeGirl we already know there's micro transactions are in the game. It's no surprise. The developers said it wouldn't be pay to win. Which is what people are worried about. Right now, I'm not

@Nightcrawler71 about 70 ish gigs, well that was the beta size. And no, it doesn't really. But it's a cross platform game, so not specialized for the ps5 besides what other multi plat games do

@colonelkilgore it's a grind genre. But if you're aiming for the platinum, that's why you feel the way you do. I platted d3. But I didn't chase it n years after playing I saw I only needed 4 trophies and 2 of those were hard core. Just enjoy these games. And d4 is so much better than d3.

Sold well, i disliked this game. But maybe it needed a few patches. I dunno.

I couldn't get into the first one. Maybe I just tried it too late. I also love co op so I would have enjoyed it here also. But no co op isn't going to hurt the game.

@Fiendish-Beaver Microsoft fading after they have brought very little to gaming and keep trying to do things that actually hurt the hobby. Not saying Sony is perfect. But hopefully a third competitor can emerge that actually cares about gaming.

@Green-Bandit I have very large hands. I'm much larger than average male. And still ds5, best controller ever. I never experienced hand slipping on any controller. My hands used to sweat on the ds5, for some reason. Maybe because it was new and I was nervous I don't know. After about a week it stopped, and I could game normally. I think it was psychological.

If they are, then I'm sure it likely to be a true rumor. Having pro series will be the end of consoles. Mid gen upgrades becoming routine are not good inn long run. I understand why they existed last gen, no complaints.

@Green-Bandit ds5, best controller ever. They sell caps you can put on. My fingers never slip.

@NinjaNicky return to arms was the sequel to champions of norrath. Released about a year apart. If you like that, you should like the diablo series.

@NinjaNicky champions of norrath you mean? Titan quest on playstation isn't point and click. But I guess it is if you use mouse and keyboard, I wouldn't know. I'll say this with a controller, d3, d4, titan quest, and champion of norrath play roughly the same as far as controls go.

On topic, the betas have been fun. Can't wait for June 2nd. I really hope end game is worth sinking hours into. Haven't been this hype for a game in a long time.

As long as no hardware revisions like a pro model I won't be upset.

I didn't know this mode was happening, but please is my favorite, I would have definitely given it a try.

Even on the beta weekends, Fridays were rough. But Saturday and Sunday were super smooth. This server slam, no issues at all. I hope things are fine. We'll see.

@4kgk2 the anti woke. Is the same ad the anti sjw crowd. They latch on to catch phrases they can't define and complain over every non issue. They were the same people calling everyone snowflakes only to become the snowflakes. Not liking a game is one thing... but this is so beyond ridiculous. I don't know the b exact percentage of the amount of gamers I hate. But stories like this guarantees that number to increase.

@Heavy_Artilery the UK isn't irrelevant. I'm American and love coming to this site. I wake up early so a site like this post news before American sites. Maturing isn't a bad thing.

I will likely never play this game but I think the serves to prove, that day 1 streaming hurts far more than it helps.

Ps1 sequence is iconic. But the ps4/ps5 beep is unrivaled. Omg.... I'm missing it right now.

I don't want the higher tiers. But I like the fact that Sony is leaving it completely optional. They don't seem to be relying on it. I can respect that. If they put champions of norrath on it, I will get the high tier lol.

Great games are everything. That's the main thing. Sure it's not the only thing in 2023. But its at least 95%of the things.

@LifeGirl you can understand how capitalism works and still be wrong. Immortal has made a ton of money. They can still get immortal money and not implement pay to win mechanics in d4 which so far from everything we've seen and they've said aren't in d4.

I love the genre. And I thought with ultimate alliance (an isometric beat em up I will argue this) and most definitely rockstar the warriors I thought we were on the cusp of a
Genre revolution. While I love the classic side strollers, just imagine tmnt in the warriors world. That would be amazing.

This bothers me. A precedent has been set and as a console gamer I don't like it. Still a rumor, but still...
