@Gremio108 because media moved slow then. That worked too their advantage. They didn't evolve and felt like the industry needed them. The first and biggest nail in the coffin is Sony realizing that they didn't need e3.

@ArcadeHeroes you named 2 things. I'm not a fan of raising game cost, but while Sony did it first, ms said they wouldn't do it... then did it. You quoted my comment and still proceeded to be fallacious in your response. You only mentioned this generation, and while my comment still holds true to this generation, I was speaking from when they both entered gaming. Have a good day.

Microsoft is the worst. And how shills can even support their business practices in this gaming world is beyond me. People don't want to pay for games that bad and dislike Sony that much? Nobody should ever champion a company too much but I'll say Sony has done more to the benefit of consumers than ms has. And this response is so disrespectful to gamers.

Re: Talking Point: Is 2024 Too Soon for PS5 Pro?

I don't think there should be a pro, but I would not be surprised if there is. I do however think if there is one, may put people off from buying a ps6 months after launch as the longer you wait to buy, the closer you'll be to a ps6 pro. This indirectly hurts Sony sales

@thefourfoldroot1 sometimes you have to stop equating dollar amount to time played. I get the logic but it hurts gaming. But if you choose to wait for a sale, it's your money and that's a fair play. I'll just say I'm glad a took a chance on journey when it first released during the ps3 era. One of the greatest games of all time. Barely 2 hours. I think it was like 14 bucks.
