10 bucks not bad. Of course I love free, but paying 10 isn't bad. Paying full retail price sucks though.

As long as the dlc is not over a few bucks, and that their moves are already in the game....I don't mind.

@TheTSTGuy sometimes there's a penalty for early adopteders, sometimes there's one for late adopters. Far less sympathy for the latter.

If you need to monetize your game this heavily, please just make it free to play at least.

I want to try the demo, but I also think it's dumb to limit the availability of the demo. Unless it's going to be free on plus (basic tier) or something like that.

They could be posturing for a game pass deal. Likely the only way gamers will play it on Xbox.. for most of them.

The issue isn't Sony, the issue is y'all expectations are unreasonably high even when Sony tells you what's going to be taken place.

@Denni5m you wrote all of that to try and convince an internet stranger what to do with their money lol. But I'll entertain you, I often pre order the night before a game comes out unless something is gated like a beta that I really really want to try. In this case I'm not sure I might pre order next month, I might not. But I'm guaranteed to buy the game so spending 70 now or later makes 0 difference for me.

Imagine harassing someone over a game... let alone a 2 or 3 year old game you're not even playing. Smh

@Th3solution seems like me and you experience mh for the first time with the world demo. I thought it was highly approachable. The game can be complex if you choose for it to be. But it wasn't for me. Grab weapon, bash monster. Rinse and repeat. This game from the sound of things starts easy then has difficulty spike, like monster hunter, so that's fine too.

I'm still on the fence about this game. The bad I'm hearing, frame rate issues. And for this genre at this price point that's very bad news. Good news, fighting is more streamline, but like I said previous, it was streamline in my if you chose to go that route. But the no need for item wheel does sound a little appealing.

I would b be slightly excited if the original developers were making it, so I'll have to wait for trusted reviews to even consider it at this point.

@bindiana perhaps. But ... while I don't play cod another way to look at it is people prefer to play cod on playstation compared to other platforms, and taking away that choice should be prevented. Just like Bethesda titles, but that's a battle already lost.

So am I supposed to pretend payday the game doesn't exist? So far this is just a clone with decent graphics. There was a charm about payday that keeps you coming back and replaying those missions. From this short gameplay, this feels empty.

@RobN an easy fix for the time. But it'll upset some people. Tie the purchases to the ps plus accounts. Prioritize people who have been members longer. It's not perfect but would have helped a lot. Not sure why y'all be so aggressive on the internet though. It's not a super crazy idea. I'm sure Sony has thought of this before.

@KaijuKaiser you're misunderstanding my comment. I'm saying 4k tvs were not an issue for lack of ps5 sales.

@rjejr it's not even about the 4k TV. A lot of gamers still have 1080p but ps5. The main thing that hurt ps5 was scalping and stock. Scalping was an easy thing to fix that Sony could have avoided.

I guess I should pay horde mode to see if I actually have the update. There's nothing on the store to download. I have the digital version so I'm not sure. Fun game though to anyone wondering.

People complain about open world, which has lately been a crutch for mediocre games. But the bigger issue is single player games as a whole have been mostly formulaic. I really want this game to be good. And I trust that it will be.

@BranJ0 you're hearing that narrative from game pass supporters. That's really it. Ms buys company, game is now "free" on game pass. That's all they are referring to. Ms has done nothing I can think of outside of give xbox gamers games that they were already going to get anyways.
