Definitely looking forward to this as I am sure they will be able to take a few more chances and add some complexity and variety to the game play loop. Venom should be epic.
Played on the S and really enjoyed it. I would have bought it on my PS4 if I didn't have the S. It's great to see Double Fine have access to larger budgets, I am very excited about their future projects.
Stopped paying for PS Plus 3 months ago. Used the same amount for 1 year of gamepass with promotions. Love PlayStation but it's the best value gaming decision I have ever made. PlayStation needs to improve their service to compete digitally. Hardware PS5 will come on top but the real money is made in digital sales and subscriptions and there is some major competition coming
I really like the open world for some virtual tourism and just a few pub fights. I never got around to finishing the story though as I had permadeath on and was usually drunk when I played it.
I like the crazy rides angle but wish they had used the characters/ storyline to distinguish themselves from Planet Coaster a bit more. Feels like a cheaper knock off with the many similarities.
@LiamCroft to be fair, you did take it from a sudden release on the Australian ps store so it definitely was not a planned world wide marketing release until after the twitch stream.
Lots of red flags from Sony but with the continued impressive hardware sales it might not be any big issues. The competition, however, continues to grow stronger (Nintendo Switch sales, Xbox Gamepass, Valve handheld).
Would love to see more of these types of offers and demos. I really enjoyed playing through Watch Dogs Legion on its free weekend and ended up purchasing it on sale. This is a good way to promote big games.
Is it not possible to claim PS5 games if you do not have a PS5? I am sure there are plenty of people trying to buy one and its a shame they can't add PS5 games to their PS library.
Hopefully Sony is in the midst of restructuring the entire online services package (PS+, PSNow, Anime) to offer gamers a competitive online subscription service. As of now, it just feels like the end days for this current PS online subscription model.
I think most of us expected 2021 to be a year for the smaller indies while all the massive AAA games were delayed to 2022. Next year will be a very exciting year!
@Flaming_Kaiser or look at it the other direction - Sony is making 250-350 million a month off of subscribers and this is the best they can do - there are plenty of online services competing for those 5-10 dollars
EA and 2K will screw over the consumer in any pricing model. What we really need is market choice and competition to force them to improve their products - they will not do this without being forced.
@B_Lindz I told my GF that its my PushSquare Mates Bday and I am having a few beers - I don't think she has any clue what that meant but glad to celebrate with you
Why even slap the Tom Clancy name on this? If you want a taste of those juice fortnight bucks, title it as such. Trying to play both sides by putting a Tom Clancy title next to an emoji seems desperate. We want to go in this new direction but we can't really trust it so let's at least guarantee some sales from our hardcore fans.
This is great for the local economy and sounds very exciting. I hope Neil D. does not try and re-write the original story/ themes into something more politically motivated and divisive. The original story was a masterpiece.
Fantastic. Just like Hollywood, the games industry will start selling out to CCP censorship and then get dropped on its head once China has imitated and created their own domestic gaming industry.
I have been working through my 3rd tier backlogs games, Leisure Suit Larry, Ghostbusters, Hat in time and a Sexy Brutale. I finally picked up Death Stranding so will be giving that my full attention next week. Go England!
Absolutely LOVE these kinds of articles. Nice one! Kindness is the gift that keeps on giving. On that note, you probably need to be a Man U player to get your hands on one of those at this point.

Glad to hear some are enjoying it. Will try to pick it up for $20 in January or $10 in May.
Re: Heavy Rain, Detroit Team Reportedly Making a Star Wars Game
I guess the real question should be, what studios are not currently working on a star wars game
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Is Massive, According to Venom Voice Actor

Re: Lost in Random (PS5) - Quirky Card-Based Adventure Set in a Dark and Gothic World

Re: NBA 2K22 Fleshes Out WNBA Mode, But It's Still Next-Gen Only
EA and 2K clearly use the next gen consoles as an excuse why they can't add features that have been there the entire previous 2 generations.

Day One GOTY. Let's go!!!

Re: Bloober Team Dismisses The Medium PS Plus Rumours
I really enjoyed playing this game. I enjoyed it far more than 12 minutes but clearly opinions and experiences are highly subjective.
Re: Soapbox: GTA: San Andreas Is Still an Open World Classic
I have faith that RockStar will put in the extra effort needed to make these shine.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 Details Leave a Lot to Be Desired
I do not think this is going to be No Mans Sky 2.0. It is not a bad game, it just is nowhere near what is was hyped to be.

Sony PS+ is beginning to remind me of the old VHS clearance bin at the local supermarket.
Re: PS Store Summer Sale Discounts So Many Big PS5, PS4 Games

Re: The Last Video Store Is Pure PSVR Nostalgia Inspired by Blockbuster
I guess the sequel will be the Last Movie Theater
Re: PS Store Summer Sale Brings the Heat on 21st July
Incredible Deals (see: the previous 10 sales). I would LOVE to see Sekiro for under $25, BioMutant for under $40 and some new indie game sales.

Definitely a 9. Great game and well supported.
Re: Red Dead Online Temporarily Removes PS Plus Paywall
@Gunga I jumped back in a few days ago and ended up riding the train around the map a few times, enjoying the scenery.
Re: Looks Like The Last of Us 2 Has Been Permanently Discounted on PS Store
Please make this an Xbox Game Pass game if only to explode the internet.
Re: Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline (PS5) - A Much Better Plot Built on Existing Foundations
