Re: Dying Light 2 (PS5) - Good Sequel Hurt by Expectation

I think holding their feet to the fire on early expectations is a bit harsh. With how many studios that have absolutely sh*t the bed with their broken releases, DL2 seems to be a really solid entry with all things considered (development hell, covid, etc).

I definitely don't need every single game I play to push the boundaries of realistic graphics - looking at some of the absolute dumpster fires that AAA publishers have been releasing the last two years, this looks absolutely fantastic and I am not even gud enough to play souls games.

It's not just the poor quality, it is also RockStar holding the review embargo until the last moment (as they knew it was sh*t), removing the older games from the online stores (as they knew it was sh*t), and are charging nearly full price for it (as they knew people would buy sh*t). They are making billions off of this franchise and still feel the need to do a quick cash grab on their most loyal fans. Its beyond gross.

Re: Hands On: Is the GTA Trilogy Really That Bad on PS5, PS4?

They can't even launch a basic remaster of a 17 yr old game without it being broken and needing major patches? This idea that AAA studios can release games in broken conditions is getting completely out of hand and needs to be addressed by the industry. They are basically sending out betas and making their full paying customers work through the issues so that they can eventually (sometimes) patch later.
