Why would anyone pre order a digital item at full price?

Deserves to be there, but feels a stretch to say dark souls started it all when demon souls came first. But demon souls came out in 2009 so can't be on the list...

@get2sammyb You don't need to to work with the publisher in future if they do this. You have 2 days to buy the game and review before anyone else does.

A good game can get 10s or 100s of hours of playtime. A 7 isn't considered great because if you have limited time and like a variety of genres there really isn't a need to go down as far as a 7 when choosing what to play. Yes, tastes differ but as a general rule the majority of people can't even fit in the 8+s

It's bad, but Sony have been doing this a long time, look at their history on electronics, tons of products that failed commercially that they ditch as soon as they can and leave the people that supported them unsupported.

You don't need these games. If you don't like microtransactions, don't just boycott them, boycott the game full stop.

@kyleforrester87 There's nothing else to it than appealing to addictive tendencies, so yeah they shouldn't make it. Supporting anything pay 2 play is contributing to the death of gaming imo

@get2sammyb Yeah, you can apply the logic to any pay to win stuff, but at least FUT contains an element of skill. This stuff just appeals to those with addictive tendencies and some will spend ridiculous amounts as they can't help themselves.

@get2sammyb Possibly, but games like this are pretty immoral imo, they appeal to the same addictive tendencies as slot machines and are designed wholly to encourage you to spend more money. The prevalence of them on smart phones is going to kill dedicated consoles if developers can make more peddling this stuff than making proper gaming experiences

I have no idea why anyone would buy a ps4 and then play this **** on it.

@Kohaku I logged in to post that, the lack of ps4 support for the logitech gt currently is shocking.

Plus games are supposed to have a metascore of 70+. Knack is only just over 50.

Given they often offer free trials to PS plus, this is fair enough, otherwise no one will play full price.

This looks incredible. I even stopped watching after 5 mins so I don't spoil the beginning.

What people are ignoring is that the systems now sell each other. On PS+ with a ps3, eventually youll have racked up enough games you won't be able to say no to a vita. I have a vita and a ps3, will get a ps4 next year and will already have a nice catalogue. As plus is almost compulsory for ps4 there's bound to be vita sales off the back of its success

It is, it's in line with the classic version on the PC, which removes some features for people who want a quicker game without some of the depth.

I think so, you should be able to play TJ under the same account as your vita once its installed on ps3.

You can remote play the original, works fine on Vita screen.
