I really hope Sony avoids a price war with Microsoft. MSFT is a huge corporation far bigger than Sony. As of today MSFT market cap is $1.57 Trillion.

@SamMR I have a PS4 Pro and a Xbox One X. Certain games there is a definite difference in favor of the Xbox One X version.

It is amazing to me.. Xbox One 960 and PS4 1080. Now it doesn't matter? Interesting how that works.

@thedevilsjester that would be correct, but PS5 and Xbox Series X are both running AMD GPUs. If one ran an NVidia, ok. 2 more Teraflops does matter. That is 2 Trillion more operations per second. That is not a small difference.

@Paranoimia I don't get this argument. Since games are on PC we don't need an Xbox Series X? Maybe you and many others, but I by far prefer to play on a console on my couch (and no I will not bring my PC to my living room (loaded RTX 2070 by the way))

Not every one uses their PC for all gaming or even want to.
