FF7 looks great! Helldivers 2 is concerning though. I was really hoping it would be a day one PlayStation Extra/Premium title. Being full price and coming out in the busy month of February could make that game DOA. I'll be waiting for a sale on that game for sure lol. The State of Play was good in my opinion. My expectations were in check, so I wasn't disappointed.
@Bingo-Bongo Yeah, I need Like A Dragon and FF7 to be spaced out a bit. Maybe one in early January and the other in late March/April. Relink and Persona 3 coming out back to back is going to destroy my free time for a while.
@djlard Same for me. I finished the story on my necromancer the day before season one started. I made a new character for the season, but couldn't get into it. I gave up on the game for now and started playing Inquisitor - Martyr. I'm thinking of giving Last Epoch a try as well.
Even with the cons, I'll still most likely pick the game up (maybe a few months later at a discount). The demo was good, and there aren't many horror JRPGs nowadays.
Sony could put their first-party titles on their service after a certain amount of time. You could pay full price now, or wait a while and play it at no extra cost with your subscription. It's similar to what a lot of studios are doing with their movies currently. Though I'd be fine with a good catalog of retro games.
I'm optimistic but I'm keeping my expectations in check. I'd love to see a PS4/PS5 remaster of Persona 4,3,2 and 1. Heck, I'll be happy with just a remaster of Persona 4 Golden. Atlus is supposed to make an announcement this month, so maybe it'll be at the Playstation Showcase or announced later this month I hope.
Another game missing from the list besides Kena is Lost in Random. It had a Sept 10th release date in the last gameplay trailer. Lost in Random might be my most anticipated game coming out next month.
It looks fine to me. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see more gameplay and wait for the reviews. I'll most likely pick it up when the price goes down.
@Howson79 God of War Ragnarok still doesn't have a release date (we only know 2022 but not the month and day). Maybe they'll have a small State of Play where they give us some gameplay and a solid release date for next year.

Won't be getting it until there's a steep price drop.

Re: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Is Remake 2, PS5 Exclusive, Out Winter 2023
Two huge Final Fantasy games along with Spider-Man 2 next year. Unless something gets pushed back, 2023 is going to be insane.
Re: State of Play Showcase for Hogwarts Legacy Coming This Thursday
As a long time Harry Potter fan I am beyond hyped for this game! Easily my most anticipated game of the year.

Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5) - A Gorgeous Adventure with an Old-School Approach
I'm still playing through my backlog so it'll be a while before I get to Kena. It looks like a fun game though.

Re: Cult of the Lamb Is a Cartoonish Rogue-Like from Devolver Digital, Coming in 2022
Easily one of the highlights of the show. I'm getting it for sure.
Re: Talking Point: Was Gamescom Opening Night Live Any Good?
It was ok. I wanted to see more of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands since the release date is early 2022, but there were a few cool game announcements.
