@RicoLico Not any more, as the Switch is getting more and more 3rd party support. I have a PS3/4 and PSP/Vita, but LOVE how the Switch allows you to play console games on the go. Especially for smaller games (Indies), the Switch is very tempting. Also for devs, as Nintendo hardly ever has sales, so prices remain higher much longer, generating more revenue
@bindiana Last week(s) many VR games have been on sale, including the excellent Battlezone, eagle flight and many more. And now, Dirt Rally VR for 75% off...
it may be a rehash of the previous installments, but it's my #1 PSVR Launch game. Better than ANYTHING I've played until now. (Haven't played RIGS or EVE: Valkyrie yes though..)
@Flaming_Kaiser Fully agree here. Difference is: Driveclub didn't only get DLC, but they actually made the game BETTER, with added features, better graphics, better tuning, and even a new (lower) difficulty level, when the game proved to be too difficult for casual racers. They fought against the stream, despite a horrible start and dishearting (but well deserved) initial reviews.Their studio was almost closed down because of this, but they kept believing, struggled to make their game better, and succeeded. Boy, did they succeed!
For me, Evolution Studios is the better developement studio.
@kyleforrester87 Maybe on PS4, but on Vita, it didn't explain how I could timetravel and select another character to kill that attacker before he killed me.
I couldn't even clear the tutorial on my vita, so I cannot judge the entire game. But a game that can't even clearly explain its controls doesn't really deserve a '9'...
I actually quite enjoyed the companion app for Unity, especially the real-time map. I always get lost walking around those huge maps, and the Unity one was quite good and responsive. The blue chests should have been optional, though...
4k gaming. It's the only logical step after this one. PCs are now moving into that territory, 4k capable monitors and TVs are appearing and get reasonably priced, so in a few years everyone will have the equipment to watch/play 4K. By that time, consoles will need to follow suit.
Strange that this news item adresses "Sony's ageing console", while the bungie blogpost clearly states an equal treatment of both last-gen consoles: XBox360 AND PS3...
Well, the pictures are definitely 'different', but it might be me, but are the PS4 screens actually 'better'? I had to resort to the 'ps3/4' tags regularly to see which I was expected to like better. Not much difference in textures, draw distance etc. (at least, in these screens)
@ScreamAimFire99 Thanks for that brilliant response, which shows you read exactly 0% of this post, including the header. If you don't/can't read, why bother commenting?
Well, that looks exactly like.... the original game from back then?? So much for progress... For memory's sake, re-watch the original. It never got the praise it deserved. Excellent game early in the PS3 cycle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4VX27gsy8A

Yes, of course...
Edit: Excellent choice of picture to go with the article!
Re: Poll: Are You Enjoying Uncharted 4?
What a game. It starts really slow (dare I say dull?) and then ramps up, and up, and up, and up!
Re: Talking Point: What April PlayStation Plus Freebies Do You Want?
Actually, Dead Star is exactly what I DON'T want in the PS Plus IGC: A multiplayer- only, procedurally generated game.
Re: PlayStation VR's US Pre-Order Bundle Costs More Than $399
I'm so happy I live in the EU now, AND already have the camera and wands. I'll be $100 better off than you, my dear US friends.
Re: Sony Marks PlayStation Plus' Five Year Anniversary with Stats Plaques for Lifers
@thedevilsjester True. For me, that number is about 2-3 TOPS... (Yeah, I'm not that social beyond the social media )
Re: Sony Marks PlayStation Plus' Five Year Anniversary with Stats Plaques for Lifers
I think that would have supposed to read 'friends' (aka just ppl you met online labeled as friends.)

I'm missing the PS4 exclusive part in that headline

@ShogunRok Ok, explanation accepted (and yes, it IS ageing indeed!)
