I can't wait for the Warhammer and Megaman episodes! Although it looks so good I might try and watch it all.

Basically fixed all my issues with persona. Story is way more interesting, dungeons are better designed, and every character so far has been fantastic. Honestly a 10 for me. This is this year's Baldur's Gate 3 in my opinion.

I agree with him. Gamers say that they want certain games, but then proceed to not buy them. I honestly think console and PC game success is mostly luck, based highly on release window and good word of mouth. But even good word of mouth can't save a game.

I know that I'd probably like this game if I tried it. But after getting lost in Genshin Impact when it first came out, I'm done with gacha games. The FOMO is too real. If we could just buy characters that would be different, but screw gambling.

A gacha? How disappointing. This could be an amazing videogame. Imagine 100 players being dropped into a city, versus a giant Kaiju along with smaller enemies that it can summon. A game like that would be ripe for online success. It's basically battle Royale, but it's PVE.

Dang, I used to have patience for really hard JRPGs. Now not so much. Really hope they decide to include different difficulty modes for wimps like me.

I switched to PC this gen, which is why I haven't gotten yet. Waiting on a PC port now. I bought the original Remake at launch.

@oc1d SAME! I'd rate them as Odinsphere > Muramasa > 13 Sentinels > Dragon's Crown in terms of what I like. After playing Unicorn, I think it might end up higher than muramasa. That game really needs to stop being locked to Wii and PS Vita, and get a PS5, Switch, and PC port like their other games.

I still believe Odinsphere Leifthraiser is their magnum opus, even over Dragon's Crown. Didn't really like 13 Sentinels due to its combat system, but after playing the demo for this, I really can't wait! This has been so satisfying to play.

As someone who moved to PC this gen, I'd happily buy Sony's games if they released day one as opposed to a full year or more. Especially if they want to sell them at full price.

@BeautifulCreatures the gameplay is still awesome though in 4 and 5. I'd consider it perfected honestly.

I agree with them. Gears has a better story, characters, and gameplay. I still play Gears 5 multiplayer to this day on PC.

But we see that that DOESNT happen. You DONT get to keep playing them. Licenses end. Games leave sub services and go to new ones, just like video streaming. I don't mind digital purchasing, but screw game subscriptions.

I'm pretty sure the game will just re-tell the same story going by what they've shown so far.

Can't wait for this game! Think I'll pick this up over Persona.

As a big fan of the original, who also doesn't care about Zack, the direction that they're taking really disappoints me. Really don't want to have to play Crisis Core to enjoy the next part. I bet they'll kill off Tifa though, which would suck.

Zelda was fine. But I really hope BG3 wins.

So all the other depraved stuff in some Japanese games is totally fine.

As cool as this looks, I'm just too old to play Neverending games like this.

Some nerds are mad about thr amount of budget that was put into the game's cutscenes. I'm honestly all for it. I'm glad thst Larian stayed true to wanting to make a big budget CRPG. This is what the western rpg genre needed to move forward in my opinion.

@Jettstyles Thanks! Yeah the game is much more enjoyable for me on easy. There's still some hard fights though, even on easy.

Deserved. For newcomers, PLEASE do yourself a favor and start on easy difficulty. You can always increase the difficulty later.

Just watched the trailer, and I gotta admit. I actually think we have TOO MANY action RPGs now. Baldur's Gate 3 really spoiled me for turned based combat. Which we would get some big budget JRPG's with turned based combat.

I gotta admit. I've never heard the word "strash" before in my life until now.

Shouldn't have taken the Sony money then and made it an exclusive. It's not going to MAJORLY increase sales, but I'm sure a PC and Xbox release would have given them a cool 1 to 2 more million.

@tselliot This might sound petty, but I really do love this game more than DOS2 just due to the camera and quality animations. I played DOS2 for 3 hours and noped out. I played BG3 all weekend though and lost track of time lol

Best game I've played since the Mass Effect Trilogy, and I didn't think I was even a CRPG person. I hope this game gets game of the year, because to me it's game of the decade. If you want a Bioware game on steroids, this is that.

Still my favorite 2d fighter to jump into. MK and Street Fighter just don't do it for me. The speed and graphics or Guilty Gear just appeal more to me. Oh and the Music is amazing too.

Game is utterly amazing so far, and I'm not even a CRPG person.

The salt is real. Do I think Microsoft, a giant corporation, should buy Activision, another giant corporation? No. But it's funny that there is so much salt when Sony locks Xbox out of SO MANY 3rd party games.

Not sure what Atlus has against playing as women in their game about role playing a character and building relationships with other characters. It's not 2008 anymore. Girls play video games too, especially rpgs.

@DrClayman PC players play stuff from the 360 generation all the time. It wouldn't have mattered.
