I said no, but not for the reason in the poll. It’s clear that they didn’t know so many of them would be scalped. Then continuing to support the ps4 is in response to that as they know so if the games were all ps5 exclusive they wouldn’t make a profit

Theres a few reasons single player games have to connect to a server.

The devs want to know how you play the game. This can allow them to know what areas of the game people spent more time on so they know what areas to expand on in DLC
They can record bugs if the game crashes so they can figure out what happened better to replicate the bug

I'm sure there are other reasons, but it is still an annoying thing to experience in single-player games. The least they could do is give the player the option. I know Doom and Dark Souls try to keep the player online. You can still play the game if you disconnect from the wifi.

I used to replay games all the time, but now I struggle too. When I was a kid I didn't have that many games (lies I just had more time, the pool of games I had was indeed smaller than I do now but looking back it was a lot)

My current backlog is sitting at 30 with a bunch of new games I'm looking forward too as well. Combine that with finishing my Masters it will be a long time before I get caught up.

IMO it comes down to needing more money and they need to get that from us the consumer. They'd rather release a broken product that they can fix instead of having to pull the plug. They should have just released it on PC with the promise of it coming to consoles when it was ready. The fact that PC seems to be going good, but PS4/5 is not shows they should have done 1 over the other.

I plan on getting one eventually but I have no rush to get one any time soon.

Looks good, I'm waiting for the game of the year edition with all the DLC though. I have a hard time coming back to single player games. Once i beat out i move on to the next one. I now wait for DLC to be put before i go into single player games

Why did they show ffxiv? They didn't show anything new, and then lied to potential new players saying the new classes would be available for them. I mean they will but in no way will they be accessible to new players.

Don't do it! It's the worst in the series, with an annoying final boss with timed instant death sections. Play any other tales game before this.

Whats wrong with a metroidvania? Bugs didnt lower RDR2 or Witcher 3 and they are just open world games.

The 2012 show was perfect and I don't know why it needed to be replaced. Heck having the turtles be different species completely takes away the fact that they were brothers. One thing I've learned is different species of turtles don't like each other.

Cant be sewed as everything is just different enough. Have you seen all the phone game rip offs? There's also so many zelda indie rip offs, even on nintendo consoles. As long as they dont use any pokemon 1:1 they will be all set

XV was terrible. Incredibke lack of support, and combat was mash buttons to win. They are gonna have to do something big to get me back. Didn't like 7,8,11-15. 10 was just okay.

the game sounds interesting in paper, but it looks like everything will be disconnected. Solve some puzzles go into an arena room and do a combat against one big guy. The world looks empty character wise based on this aspect.

I'm hoping there is an English translation on Switch at some point. Whether its EU or USA I don't care.

It looks to play fine outside of all those numbers, when looking at just the gameplay. All this number mumbo jumbo is getting annoying. As long as it doesn't stall or crash I don't care

I made sure to ignore every ad for Breath of the Wild, as i knew I was buying it. All i needed was a release date. I loved the experience of not knowing what I was getting into as devs these days love to spoil the surprise. Did the same thing for The Dark Knight. Didn't know Dent was going to be in it until I was waiting on line.

Such a bad game. The only reason I might give them another chance with this series is because this game went through development hell. However 11-14 have had zero interest with me as well. Hoping 16 doesn't take forever and doesn't fall victim of the same problems the last few games have had.

Haven't watched the trailer yet, but it sounds very Persona/Digimon- esque
