@adf86 You can use a 2 TB one as well according to some people. It's just that Sony only recommends 1 TB for now I dunno why.

@ShogunRok I sure hope not. I've been waiting 8 years already. I want them to fix the problems first of course but there are limits. lol They need to have more people getting it finished.

I usually laugh at how stupid it sounds when characters speak English in a game taking place in Japan. Often characters can't even pronounce their own names. Persona 4 had a really good dub tho. For most of the characters anyways, which is very rare, Most of the voice actors nailed every line and personality they were supposed to portray without sounding like they tried too hard.

We'll see how good the P5 dub will be, otherwise I'll just hope that they'll have the Japanese voices as well.They couldn't include the Japanese voices in P4 or P4 Golden due to the Japanese voice tracks being more expensive than licensing the whole game AND the English voices together. P5 being a PS4 game tho should increase the sales so perhaps we'll see them include both.

MS also thought they bought Donkey Kong when they bought Rare Ware. lol

@Cowboysfan-22 Yeah, but he's supposed to be annoying. In English he sounds like he's mentally... special.

Mobile gaming is big only because people who previously didn't game at all now game. Like my 60+ mother. Are Konami gonna make games for her? I'm not and will not be interested in mobile gaming until handhelds and consoles are completely gone. By that time I'm not even sure people will care about Konami any more.

Yeah I'm still not playing games on mobile. I rather just play with my thumbs if I don't have my 3DS with me.

@Kie1976 I guess it can't be helped, I mean all kids drop things when they are excited or not thinking clearly like most adults do. I used to drop my Game Boy Color as a child all the time. It kept on working tho, it wasn't as complicated as the new stuff they make these days.

I think it's really stupid that they stopped supporting the old model just because they decided there had to be another one. It's not like it made more people go out and buy a Vita. It still only sells well in Japan. They should have had some spare screens for the old model left somewhere and if not they could have offered you a new console altogether. Preferably, they could have even told stores to stop selling the old models and only continue to sell the new one so that customers wouldn't be confused.

I guess you can't have everything in this world, unless you're Sony. Then you have the money rolling in everyday. Ha!

What happened to the Vita? Bought mine 1-2 moths after launch, also the original model. Mine's fine. Was is exposed to moist? Perhaps it was kept in a backpack? Kids do run around an awful lot. Teenagers too. Heh.

Keeping the room cool probably extends your console's lifespan too. Because where I live summers aren't long and the rest of the year it's just cold and I never had a problem with any console I owned. My brother's 360 got the red ring of death 3 times tho but that's 'cause the console was really bad in general.

@get2sammyb Maybe in some places they didn't? I haven't had any problems with the slim models. Only the day 1 fat models had some SERIOUS issues, like spitting out the discs randomly and overheating. Or that's what I've heard.

The PS2 era was great. Still have my modded slim with a library of 100+ games from all over the world. I still pick up new games every week at the local goodwill stores, there's still so much I haven't played yet!

@themcnoisy No I agree with you. There should be SOME kind of limit to how much you can spend in an hour/day. The question is who decides what's too much? Many gamers are adults taking care of their own money, if they put the cap too low people will complain. If it's too high parents will complain.

It's not easy for Sony or anyone else for that matter to figure out what's right. You could use the parental controls, but we all know that doesn't really work with the older kids. And shutting down the internet is out of the question, most adults use it on a regular basis today as well...

Seems like you've solved your family's problem tho. Too bad you couldn't come to some agreement with EA/Sony.

@The_Great_WmR Someone may have tried to log onto your account by guessing the password. Yes I'd change it just in case. If you're lucky it was just some stupid kid trying to get in. I don't think it have happened to me yet...

@themcnoisy It's outrageous that such expensive DLC even exists but you should probably put your wallet where your son can't find it. Don't take this the wrong way tho, I'm sure you originally trusted your son which is something you'd like to do. I can understand.

Similar things have happened to parents whom have given their children their own smart devices. It's very easy to spend a lot of money there without really understanding it's real, for a kid anyway. Those companies are just trying to make money. They are doing it the wrong way yes but in the end there's nothing you can do.

@get2sammyb No... I guess you wouldn't. Couldn't they track down the culprit tho based on the IP address? And who'd go all the way to hack someone's PSN account anyways, to get games. Since those Russians/Brazilians came out with that soft mod hack dummies can just get everything for free anyway. It's nothing I recommend tho, you know since it's illegal.

@kyleforrester87 Yeah, the music and backgrounds needs to be right. Maybe 8 and 9 will get the same treatment one day as well. Just next time, I hope SqEn wont be dumb and make people think they are making a remake when they are not.

@kyleforrester87 I tend to put everything in the same place and sticking white electrical tape on them and then write on the tape what it's for... Otherwise I'll never know what belongs to what. I have like 10 consoles in my room right now! The games go into many shelves along the wall.

On the topic tho, when WILL SqEn release that HD port of FF7? At least it's better than nothing if you don't already have it on PC. I know people hated that it was announced but my FF7 copy from 1998 needs to retire. It still works, I just don't feel like using it any more for my coming playthroughs.

@kyleforrester87 Got mine in a goodwill store for like 2 bucks. =P Came with a remote too.Used to have some other ones from my childhood but they all broke down so I had to go find another one. I think it was worth it.

@kyleforrester87 Agreed, I only play N64 and PS1 games in my old little tube TV. PS2, Game Cube and newer on HD TV with components and HDMI cables.

@kyleforrester87 She's more patient than most people then. Many modern gamers want everything fast and they want real time action and cry even at the thought of spending hours just doing the same battles over and over again. Unless it's Pokémon, for some reason most people are fine with the way Pokémon plays. I love both.

I think the original FF7 is only playable if you grew up with it or love older games. Even I find the grinding slightly tedious tho. The lack of voice acting is disappointing too. Other RPGs had voice acting back then, even if it was limited and suffering from bad dubs. ( Unless you played them in Japanese, ha! ) At least it was something. To get you through those important moments. I think games even older don't really need them tho, only those slightly newer games with a lot of text.

I'm afraid all games I want will come out around the same time. Oh well.

@get2sammyb No, I think it's great too. But I'm thinking they still probably could have done it since the PS3 era. It's not like there's not enough room on a Blu Ray/hard drive. They could have even made it DLC in the past. That's what I'm thinking anyways.

Why wasn't this done earlier EA? Women didn't start playing football yesterday. It's not exactly their fault more people watch the men's games.

It's doing good enough in Japan, that's all that matters to me because I mostly play Japanese games anyways.

Couldn't they have said something before I got it on PS3?

Just release FF15 and KH3 so everyone can move on with their lives. Screw FF7 remakes.
