@Arugula I'd say the difficulty lies in properly preparing your party before you delve into a dungeon. Preperation is key in this game, you need to spend some times in menus and dig through some stats if you don't want to run into problems.
As I've just bagged a Ps Now subscription for forty quid, I'm delving into Control, which has the usual bollocks narrative, but the gameplay is excellent!
@jdv95 Calling it a fact is a bit premature I'd say, else I wouldn't be having doubts over which way I'm gonna go It's great to be that confident though.
@Boldfoxrd I've never noticed any difference in using the sticks of an Xbox or Pro controller compared to a Dualshock - I don't care either way - so I guess it's a personal thing.
@Boldfoxrd I actually prefer them this way as it allows for much better controls with 2d platformers and I don't really mind the position of the left stick for 3d games.
@djlard This day is getting better and better! I had another tip from @Mintie this morning stating you can dial the brightness back, but turning it completely off is even better
@Agent47 That sounds like quite a bit of work but with this virus going on, I might just have a look at doing that!
I do hope the LED lights can be switched off, playing in darker environments with the current LED light beaming back in my telly has been quite annoying.
@StonyKL 27 PS4 controllers are quite a lot more expensive than my set of 4 AA batteries though I always have one pair of the two ready to go, so for me it's simply switching the pair and I'm ready to go on, without any bloody wires (the ps4 charging wire is too short for me as well). Each to their own!
Oooh, I used to work as a postman during university. Hope this will be the easy-going nationalised service instead of the privatised version I was a part of.
Quite a few interesting winners and nominees on the list. Whether or not awards like these are bollocks, I think they're quite useful for getting inspiration. Never heard of Observation before, but it seems right up my street!
"Two Point Hospital is already down to $29.99/£27.99"
That's a saving of a massive 2 quid compared to what I paid for it on launch day Excellent game though, my favourite of the year so far! I might pick up Journey of the Savage Planet for that price.
Crikey, more Uncharted, I haven't even played through all three of the originals yet since they were part of PS Plus - they're enjoyable, but honestly not that great in my opinion. Dirt Rally 2.0 is absolutely fantastic though for those who haven't experienced yet.
I'd be interested to hear whether its got a quick resume function. I suspect it will feature it, but don't think I've heard anything about it. Such a great feature on my Switch - One I never thought of before, but one that I can't really do without now!
@Kidfried It'll be interesting to compare those as well. Doom's downloadable copies will probably be through the roof, although you'd think that a game like Animal Crossing would really benefit from not having to insert the cartridge every time you play it.
Excellent news to have a rally game confirmed for the next gen. I've played a couple of WRC's, they're good fun and act as a counterpoint to the more hardcore Dirt Rally.

Re: This SnowRunner Trailer Is a Brilliant Riff on Death Stranding
Footage looks great! Reminds me a bit of the Wages of Fear (but then without risks of explosives I suppose).
Re: Rumour: Resident Evil 4 Remake in Development, Aiming for 2022 Launch
I don't see why this has to be remade, the original is fine as it is.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 319
@playstation1995 it's brilliant! Can't wait for part two.

@playstation1995 Madness, our old friend!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 319
@playstation1995 Nice, I loved Darkest Dungeon. One of my games of this generation for sure!

Re: Reaction: DualSense Reveals Sony's Unrivalled Ambition for PS5
@jdv95 It must be really convenient to not even doubt for one second which console will be your favourite

Re: Guide: PS5 Controller - DualSense Features, Design, Price, and PlayStation 5 Controller Battery Life
@J2theEzzo Absolutely! Can't play Street Fighter with my Switch Pro controller.
Re: PS5's First Announced Remaster Is Observer: System Redux
This was quite the experience! Not perfect perhaps, but worth it for Rutger Hauer alone.

@Cyrus29 My Dreamcast controllers are as yellow as the sun though
Re: Guide: PS5 Controller - DualSense Features, Design, Price, and PlayStation 5 Controller Battery Life
@Mintie You've got to be kidding me, I didn't even know you could do that Cheers!

Re: Guide: PS5 Controller - DualSense Features, Design, Price, and PlayStation 5 Controller Battery Life
@Mintie I don't know what region you're from, but my UK battery lasts about 4 or 5 hours.
Re: PS5's DualSense Controller Will Have 'Strong' Battery Life
@StonyKL Never heard of a thing called rechargable batteries then? I've recently replaced my old pair which lasted me at least 15 years.
Re: PS5's DualSense Controller Will Have 'Strong' Battery Life
@AdamNovice Each to their own! The less cables the better in my opinion.
Re: PS5's DualSense Controller Will Have 'Strong' Battery Life
@AdamNovice I'd be happy with the AA option to be honest, you can immediately switch to a fully charged controller.

@Chryssy75 That's actually not a bad idea!
Re: PS5 Teardown Will Happen in the Near Future, Cooling Solution to Be Detailed
"the PS4 Pro being particularly egregious"
My 1tb base PS4 sounds like a jet fighter as well whenever I try to play something that's graphic-intensive It's even louder than my 12-year-old 360!
Re: Guide: Upcoming PS4 Games and Accessories for April and May 2020
Nothing for me so that's excellent news for my backlog.

Yes please! I've got an unhealthy obsession with stats so this would be much appreciated.
Re: DiRT Rally 2.0 - The Lean Mean Rally Sim Makes a Triumphant Return
Still my favourite racing game of this generation!
Re: PS Plus April 2020 PS4 Games Leaked Ahead of Official Announcement

Re: Poll: Does PS5's Teraflop Disadvantage Matter to You?
@TheNewButler I agree, I couldn't answer the poll either as it's formulated as if games are on one side of the spectrum and specs on the other end.
Other than that, most game I'm interested in are playable on both consoles anyway.
Re: PS5's Operating System Sounds Like a Thing of Beauty
@dychomir This! I can't be arsed browsing the massive section of what's on offer - simply checking your wish list would save me a lot of time!

@Jake3103 Are you implying that blowing some demons to smithereens is less relaxing?
Re: UK Sales Charts: DOOM Eternal Secures Second Place Amid Huge Surge in Demand for Games
@carlos82 Ah right, I don't know what the percentage of PC buyers would be, but that's probably not going to happen.

Re: UK Sales Charts: DOOM Eternal Secures Second Place Amid Huge Surge in Demand for Games
@Quintumply Apparently the launch sale was bigger than all the other AC launch sales combined!
Re: UK Sales Charts: DOOM Eternal Secures Second Place Amid Huge Surge in Demand for Games
Wow, can't believe Animal Crossing beat the multiformat Doom to first spot!
Re: DOOM Eternal - The Best First-Person Shooter on PS4
@3MonthBeef Each to their own of course. I loved the frantic, fluid and gorey action it had to offer.
Re: Quantic Dream Classic Indigo Prophecy Getting Physical PS4 Release
Still have the ps2 copy here. First and last Cage game I played, even though it was quite amusing in an odd way.
Re: Poll: Do You Plan on Buying a PS5 After Sony's Deep Dive Video?
Not sure yet as there isn't too much info available at the moment. So far the new Xbox is looking to be the slight favourite for me.
Re: Poll: Do You Plan on Buying a PS5 After Sony's Deep Dive Video?
@Octane I'd pick Horizon 4 over Horizon 2 any day of the week
Re: Soapbox: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Is Free This Weekend, and You Should Try It If You're Staying Home
@kyleforrester87 I agree, if I fancy a bit of bloat I'll just scuff down a can of beans.
Re: PS5 Is One of the Most Revolutionary, Inspired Consoles Ever Designed
@kyleforrester87 To be fair, a dollar is worth quite a few pound sterlings nowadays.

Re: Resident Evil 3 Demo Confirmed for Thursday, Resistance Beta a Week After
@Undeadlogan I don't think so as I've yet to complete the second char run and as I said, I'm not convinced by the mr X style gimmick.
