Just wondering whether there's a physical copy releasing in the UK? I can only seem to find one at Play Asia.

I'm going in blind so can't comment on the review (will read it afterwards). It was a rare pre-order for me but the previews and earlier Chinese Room games convinced me. Just installed it so I'm ready to go as soon as work is done today!

@JamieO Great minds and all that! You've got the same number of games from my top 5 as the whole of Eurogamer reader's top 50 😅 Still have to check out Bat Boy and Full Void myself.

Apparently the developer also consists of former 11 bit studios members who made Frostpunk, which makes this a day one for me.

Might be worth mentioning it's on PS Now from day one. It's an excelllent counterpoint to play alongside Elden Ring!

It had the makings of a fantastic games but I just couldn't bear the excruciatingly long load times. Bought it again in a sale the other week though to give it another go.

GTA IV disappointed me a little bit as it was such a drab and ugly city to roam around in. I wish they'd opt for a non-American city for 6 to shake things up a bit, but I'm aware that probably won't happen. Oh well, we'll always have Sleeping Dogs I suppose.

Just finished Cyber Shadow (fine but unremarkable) and The Medium (excellent start, second half a bit disappointing), next up: Yakuza Kiwami and Desperados III.

I was already chuffed that Yamaoka scored The Medium as it's been a while since I've heard any new material by him and it didn't disappoint. To get even more of his music accompanying one of my favourite game series wasn't really something I'd see happening anytime soon. Fingers crossed.

@Eadgar Don't know whether you've got a PS5 but just so you know that there's a free next-gen upgrade coming for Exodus which I'm holding out for.

Regarding the map, the brilliance of it was that the signposting in-game was very well done - if you paid care to these pointers you didn't need the artifical map at all!

Odd seeing my name pop up in an article here! I initially couldn't find anyone else with the same issues, but since quite a few other people seem to be experiencing it as well I'm a little relieved as that will undoubtedly mean it will get patched in the future.

@Kalvort I've read that sentiment before but I don't agree actually, I found the whole journey at the start great! Loved the bit in the woods for instance.

The Medium, which is thoroughly recommended for people who like old school horror games like Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Forbidden Siren et all. Very atmospheric and a top notch soundtrack.

Also wrapping up Cyber Shadow, which is an enjoyable Ninja Gaiden clone but doesn't really put its own mark on the genre.

The original Startopia was terrific and Two Point Hospital proved that these games can work brilliantly on a console, so hopefully Realmforge will pull it off.

Trying this myself this afternoon and if anything I'm certain the Yamaoka score will be brilliant.

Just cleared the first four levels which were quite enjoyable. Nothing remarkable but very decent. Bit on the easy side so far but I suspect that might change later on!

Sounds good! The Cons are inherent to the game genre so not worried at all. First-day release on Game Pass too so I'm a happy bunny.

@Gmork___ Good to hear that. It's not my first-hand experience so maybe things were a bit exaggerated by people (it's the internet after all).

I'm glad I held off the boat (heh) on ps4 because of the apparant issues, as the developer has confirmed a free PS5 upgrade is underway. Can't wait!

That's an easy win for Shadow of the Colossus for me, followed by Bloodborne, Wipeout and Until Dawn.

I've actually grown quite fond of my black and white ps5, believe it or not. It fits nicely between my black Switch and white Series S.

Apart from BotW, I've never really fully enjoyed an open-world game I think. I didn't like Zero Dawn, AC games bore me to tears, Days Gone looked pretty but only featured idiotic characters, Death Stranding had unique gamplay but featured cutscenes that went on endlessly.. Will probably give this a go eventually because I can't help myself but will no doubt end up disappointed again!

A Dead Space remaster will be announced next year.

@Nepp67 The DS4 weighs in at 208 grams, whereas the DualSense weighs 280 grams. That's an increase of more than 30%! Also, I know the new features use up a lot of energy, but compared to the Switch Pro and Xbox controllers, it does run out of juice very very quickly. Swings and roundabouts I guess.

Although the features are quite cool, it's too big and heavy and its battery life is dreadful. I much prefer the Xbox controller now.

Good to see that Demon's Souls did well, even beating Assassin's Creed in the US!

Very much looking forward to this. I've even thought about buying it for my pc, which is something I rarely do as I don't really use it for gaming.
