Re: Rumour: PS5 Will Run PSone, PS2, PS3, and PS4 Games

Shepard93n7

Microsoft is pushing big for the BC, and players are aware that this is a mayor feature that every platform should have, if PS5 is not Backward Compatible there will be a lot of pissed people.

I believe Sony know this so they have to offer BC as well, besides this could benefit PlayStation Now because you'll be able to download any game from the service and it could boost subscription number.

Re: Ridiculous Rumour Claims Sony Is About to Buy Bethesda Parent Company ZeniMax and All Its Studios

Shepard93n7

This is a rumour that I don't know if I want it to be truth or fake. I mean, Sony owning Fallout, Doom, TES, Dishonored, Wolfenstein and many other sounds crazy and awesome for PlayStation fans, but other rumours suggest that Google and Microsoft are also wanting to buy ZeniMax and everyone knows Sony doesn't stand a chance between those two (I don't know how the thing works when companies compete to buy other companies anyways) and that means no releases for those franchises on PlayStation. I would prefer a company like EA or Activision to buy ZeniMax tbh.

Re: PS5 Specs Leak Sends the Web into a Frenzy

Shepard93n7

The source of the leaks claims the PS5 chip doesn't have dedicated hardware for Raytracing despite being confirmed by Mark Cerny himself several months ago. I'm not buying these rumours at all, let's see what Sony brings to CES the next week, but I'm not sure if we'll get to see the PS5 there.

Re: Game of the Decade: Destiny Paved the Way for Games as a Service

Shepard93n7

@kyleforrester87 well yes, if you like your games half-baked, with poor contented, pay to win even after paying 60$/£/€ for it, and sold by parts be my guest. You can enjoy your "healthy" industry with money leeching business models all you want, if games as services becomes the standard I'm sure I'll not be the only one to happily get a different hobby.

Re: Game of the Decade: Destiny Paved the Way for Games as a Service

More like "paved the way to the downfall of videogames".

I played Destiny on PS3, I was obsessed with the game, looting armors, weapons, playing on the crucible, all was fine until the first DLC, then they started to block the weekly and nightfall assaults for the people on vanilla, and the situation got worse with the others expansions, they practically obligated you to buy the expansions and buy all of them in order to play the most recent ones. I throwed the disc to the trash can, I will never buy a game from bungie ever again. I respect your opinions but saying this trash is game of the decade is utter bull****.

Re: Xbox Series X Has a Share Button, Hellblade Sequel

Shepard93n7

Btw Hellblade 2 trailer never showed an Xbox Exclusive logo, I know we still cannot expect the game to hit PS5 because is a first party game but maybe with the direction Microsoft is taking there's a little hope to see the game on PlayStation a time later. (?)

Re: PlayStation Head Hermen Hulst Commits to Strong First-Party Output on PS5

Shepard93n7

This is good news. I think Sony should improve their exclusives politics, securing the full thing before anything can happen. I don't know how good things will go for them but we'll see if the current decisions were clever in the long term.

In the other hand, I hope Hermen to push for the return of older PlayStation IPs like Alundra, The Legend of Dragoon, Starhawk, MotorStorm and PS Allstars Battle Royale (hopefully the rumors are true and Capcom is working on this one).

Re: Soapbox: Why Half-Life: Alyx Is a Big Moment for PSVR

Shepard93n7

@Hengist Astro Bot, probably my favorite title due to the original use of perspective, also excellent performance and lots of fun. I also enjoyed RE7 VR, Ace Combat 7 and Rigs: mechanized combat. Looking forward to pick Blood and Truth this Black Friday and Iron Man VR next year.
