@ApostateMage Is this really a thing? If it is, then I really want to see it now. I haven't played any other game with such attention to detail. I used to play Witcher 3 pretty much the same way, riding slowly with Roach across Velen exploring the beautiful map, killing bandits and monsters. I didn't think it could get better than that, but thankfully I was wrong. I mean you can talk to every NPC, set up camp (with a tent!) and cook, you can pat, brush and lead your horse ( I think I like this the most), choose your clothes according to the weather and so on. There are so many things I haven't even seen yet, like the one you told me, it's absurd.
@Neolit I haven't played much yet, maybe 10 hours, but I see what you mean especially on Westworld vacation. For me this and the first one are my dream games, as I've always loved the Wild West setting.
I just spent an hour doing a bounty on Red dead redemption 2. I went as slowly as I could with my horse, taking in the beautiful scenery and meeting some strangers along the way. When the night came and fog appeared my Pegasus was frightened so we camped for the night. In the morning we reached our destination and lassoed the target, after she killed her boyfriend with the knife and drove her back to Valentine to face justice.
Amazing game that I see myself playing for months to come.
Lately I've been playing Hitman, enjoying the sunshine on Sapienza, Hyper light drifter which I think I'm near the end (great gameplay, music and art style), Anno 1404 on PC (first time playing one of these and I find it really relaxing on the lowest difficulty) and yesterday I started the campaign from Titanfall 2. Looks interesting so far. I don't think I've ever played these many games at the same time.
Very happy with the games. Don't own either. I haven't played Darksiders 1 or 2, but I'm thinking of starting 3. Hope I won't get lost with the story (if there's much of it).
@KALofKRYPTON Totally agree with you about Murray. I had watched and read tons of his interviews and when the game released it was exactly what I expected for it to be.
I'd really love to be able to play games on ps4 with mouse + keyboard. If that was possible maybe we could see more strategy games releasing on the console, which now I can't play as my pc is really weak and I don't think I'd ever need a gaming one anymore.
@LordNodens I wanted to try this, too. However, I think you can still try it by changing your region to another country, e.g Italy which is close to us and probably latency won't be much of a problem.
I am probably buying Uncharted 1-4 with the 2 games for 30 euros offer. I've played the first one on ps3 but I'll play it again with the remastered version. For the others it will be the first time. That's a lot of Nathan Drake. Merry Christmas, everyone!
I remember this being a spy game during cold war, which I can't say we have many, so it's a shame it's been abandoned. Some in game images had leaked a while back, too.
The first two games are pretty good, if a little boring after a while, because even though they are challenging at first, they can become really easy after you learn what you must do and there aren't any reasons to replay them.
@BAMozzy About Hitman, you didn't have to give 60$ at first, but you could buy each episode seperately, where with this one there are many things missing even though you pay full price. Still, it's a shame. Battlefield used to be one of my favorite franchises since the very first one.
I love Hitman and have played Contracts, Absolution and the first two episodes from season 1 of HITMAN. One thing that has bothered me is the point system at the end of the missions. Even though there are multiple ways to complete the objectives, I find it hard to experiment, because some of the most fun ways which may include explosives, will give me a penalty at the end, which ultimately will make me feel like I've been playing the game wrong.
This reminds me of L.A Noire. There, when you were driving to a destination, you could ask your partner for directions, as there wasn't a GPS available.
@MysticMask Good luck with your playthrough. If it's your first time with the games, know that they'll take a lot of time to complete, but I think they are worth it. I too sometimes think of replaying them, but my free time doesn't permit. I'd love to know which ones you'll like the most. My personal favourites are of course the Ezio trilogy, Black Flag and the much in my opinion underapreciated, Rogue.
