Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 304

@ApostateMage Is this really a thing? If it is, then I really want to see it now. I haven't played any other game with such attention to detail. I used to play Witcher 3 pretty much the same way, riding slowly with Roach across Velen exploring the beautiful map, killing bandits and monsters. I didn't think it could get better than that, but thankfully I was wrong. I mean you can talk to every NPC, set up camp (with a tent!) and cook, you can pat, brush and lead your horse ( I think I like this the most), choose your clothes according to the weather and so on. There are so many things I haven't even seen yet, like the one you told me, it's absurd.

I just spent an hour doing a bounty on Red dead redemption 2. I went as slowly as I could with my horse, taking in the beautiful scenery and meeting some strangers along the way. When the night came and fog appeared my Pegasus was frightened so we camped for the night. In the morning we reached our destination and lassoed the target, after she killed her boyfriend with the knife and drove her back to Valentine to face justice.
Amazing game that I see myself playing for months to come.

Lately I've been playing Hitman, enjoying the sunshine on Sapienza, Hyper light drifter which I think I'm near the end (great gameplay, music and art style), Anno 1404 on PC (first time playing one of these and I find it really relaxing on the lowest difficulty) and yesterday I started the campaign from Titanfall 2. Looks interesting so far. I don't think I've ever played these many games at the same time.

I love Hitman and have played Contracts, Absolution and the first two episodes from season 1 of HITMAN. One thing that has bothered me is the point system at the end of the missions. Even though there are multiple ways to complete the objectives, I find it hard to experiment, because some of the most fun ways which may include explosives, will give me a penalty at the end, which ultimately will make me feel like I've been playing the game wrong.

@MysticMask Good luck with your playthrough. If it's your first time with the games, know that they'll take a lot of time to complete, but I think they are worth it. I too sometimes think of replaying them, but my free time doesn't permit. I'd love to know which ones you'll like the most. My personal favourites are of course the Ezio trilogy, Black Flag and the much in my opinion underapreciated, Rogue.
