@get2sammyb I agree. In general, there may not be many differences between Black Out and PUBG, but I feel there is going to be a big one it the polish department.
I know most people don't care about the campaign, but I do. I've been playing them since the first one back in 2003 on pc and have always been looking forward to the next one. However, considering their previous attempt with BLOPS3, it might actually be for the best.
Glad Discovery tour is making a return. I think it's one of the best ways to appreciate the effort that's been made in order to make these worlds as realistic and historical accurate as possible.
If I am right, only the first game won't be playable on ps4 now. Maybe they could release it as a "remaster" next year, as there isn't going to be a new entry.
@beemo I can agree with you on the "victim of its own success". I remember how in the early days its community was one of the friendliest there was with people apologizing! And don't get me started on the singeplayer part of the game. I wonder if we'll ever see Patriots or something completely different.
@beemo Do what I do and play only casual matches. I've only played like two or three ranked matches. I just couldn't stand all those kids screaming at me about how much I suck (even if it's true).
Shekiro: first From Software game I've ever been excited (sorry)
A plague tale: something very fresh and interesting
Desperados: I love how the commandos-esque games are back in fashion. Commandos 2 is one of my all time favorite games (hence my profile picture)
@NintendoFan4Lyf Oh yeah you are right. I forgot it was fan made. Hopefully, if it gains much attention, Sucker Punch will add it with a post release update.
@NintendoFan4Lyf I will play this game with japanese audio, with english audio, with japanese audio and black and white visuals and with english audio and black and white visuals. Well, that's the plan at least.
As long as they don't use resources intended for the singleplayer it's okay. We already have many multiplayer shooters, but they are clearly talented developers so we could expect some good things.
@YeYa I bought it yesterday and I played for like 4 hours straight today, which is something I haven't done in some time. The story looks intriguing, Aloy is a nice protagonist so far and the world together with Witcher's, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a game. I guess the mechanical dinos are cool, too 😁. Did you also get the frozen wilds?
I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn. Only a few hours in and I'm having a great time with it. One of the most beautiful open worlds I've ever seen and the combat is really challenging.
I bought Wolfenstein The New Order the other day which I am enjoying in spite of some annoying big robots. I'll be mixing this with some Company of Heroes and Rainbow Six Siege which has been a staple for a year.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi If I remember correctly, their main studio is around 80-100 people and with most of them working on Fallout 76 and Starfield, I don't believe you can really blame them for taking such a long time.
I have already gotten the Paris and Sapienza levels from when they were free, so it's nice to add this to the collection, too. The Paris one has kept me busy for more than 10 hours and now I am taking a break before giving Sapienza a try. I can see why they went with the episodic route.
@Luna-Harmony As long as singleplayer delivers I'll be happy. If they give me the incentive to try and enjoy the online as well I'll consider this a nice bonus.
I won't be playing much this weekend, as like the few previous days I'll be looking after my cat, which someone hit on the head. If I find some time, maybe I'll play some R6 Siege.

Re: PlayStation Plus August 2018 Games Announced
Solid month. Advice to people playing Mafia 3 for the first time; take it slow so you don't get burnt by the repetitive side quests.

Red dead all the way. I truly believe it's gonna be a game changer on open world design.
Re: Nathan Drake's Regenerative Health Was Actually His 'Luck Running Out'

Re: Asterix & Obelix XXL 2 Remaster Releasing 29th November
Asterix is great. Actually, I remember playing one game which took place during the Olympic games. It was okay I guess.
Re: Dead Island 2 Is Still in Development, More Will Be Revealed in Time
The trailer of the first game is one of the best I've ever seen. Too bad the actual game was nothing like it.
Re: Fans Want to Play Ghost of Tsushima in Black and White
Well maybe for the second playthrough, because it would be a shame not to enjoy these stunning visuals for the first time.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 226
On my ps4 I'll be playing HITMAN and RS6, while on pc I'm replaying after many years the great RTS that is Company of Heroes.
