@Ken_Kaniff That's easier said than done though, isn't it? I mean going from a real time tactics game, a genre they excel at, to something like a FPS or RPG (like we don't have many of them already) would certainly be a great challenge.
Thanks for the review Graham. I've been playing Siege for 3 and a half years now and I've clocked around 500 hours. However, I don't think I've seen many playing with kb + mouse (I didn't even know it was possible until now tbh), or I just couldn't tell. One thing I agree though is the toxicity. I think I have only played 2 matches in ranked and that was enough. Sometimes, even in casual I wonder if it's worth playing the game at all with those griefers.
@nessisonett If you enjoyed the Ezio trilogy you might want to check out Assassin's Creed Embers. It's a short film about the later days of his life. As a big fan of Ezio myself, I highly recommend it.
@David187 I think the rumor was they were going with a 70s Las Vegas setting, a la Casino (the movie), but that was some time ago so they may as well have scrapped it.
Before AC Black flag I had no interest for games about pirates. Now however, I'd love one made by Sucker Punch, especially after seeing how beautiful they made Japan and having low hopes for Skull and Bones. Three musketeers sounds good, too. Finally, as a greek I have no idea who Rob Roy is, but I guess a game set in Scotland would be cool, too.
@Breekhead Ape out is great. I love the mix of violence with the excellent jazz soundtrack. However, some of the later levels made me very mad. They got really difficult towards the end.
Thanks for the review.I loved Shadow Tactics and the old Commandos games, so eventually I'm going to buy this, too. A question I want to ask though is, how good is it to play with the dualshock? I've played the others with mouse and keyboard and I always thought it would be a little tricky with the analog sitcks. For anyone wondering there is also a demo on GOG.
@Cromwell Yes I know that, but the opening of the new studio with the name Claymore Game Studios with the purpose of making the game was announced on Thursday and not last year.
Pushsquare did not report old news like you said.
Commandos 2 is surely in my top 3 games of all time, so I am very excited. However, after the release of its remastered version on pc a couple of months ago, I have my reservations about a new one. Still we have mimimi with the excellent shadow tactics and desperados 3 coming out in a few months.
@Col_McCafferty I started AC origins in December 2018 and I finished it (DLCs including) in the end of June 2019! And they say Odyssey is even bigger. I think it'll probably take me at least a year when I finally get to it.
I don't think there can really be any excuse for the crunch. I mean if they need more work hours just hire more people, delay the game or just decrease the scope of it.
@gbanas92 Yeah I don't get it either with their names (before I replied to you I googled just to be sure which is which, even after so many months hahaha)
@gbanas92 Haha I'm the exact opposite of you. I love Skyscraper (it's maybe my favourite map!) and I hate Tower with a passion. Tower is just so dark I sometimes can't see a thing!
@gbanas92 I don't think Oregon was in need of many changes like say Theme park before, but I agree that it looks pretty cool. I don't know if you've seen the House rework they're planning for the next season. Some big changes are happening there.
The collection launched in 2016 and they still haven't fixed it? That's unacceptable even if it happens to let's say 1 in 10 players. Anyway, I haven't played them yet and I want to sometime in the future, so thanks Liam.
@Westernwolf4 I blame my huge backlog, especially on Steam for not having played any of them yet, despite knowing about their quality, but I hope I'll get to them eventually. Hades with its greek mythology looks great and I've heard that it's already in a great state, even if it's on early access.
Still Red dead redemption 2. After so many hours and I'm still in chapter 3 taking my time with it. I also started Transistor yesterday. It's very pretty and I like the fights, but I don't understand much of the story.
Edit: I forgot about the awesome music from Transistor. Top notch.
Great choice. Still listen to it often, two years after I've played it.
P.S Special mention to the end credits' song. The Spanish version especially brings a tear to my eyes. https://youtu.be/_YdPnw8_7Hk

Re: Shadow Gambit Team Mimimi Forced to Close Over Rising Genre Costs
@mikeawmids Agreed. Also, it's Kalypso that are working on a new Commandos game.

Re: Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Launch Trailer Provides Hearty Gameplay Overview
Mimimi never disappoints. So the answer to the question is...Ahoy!
Re: Role Play the Dead in Hauntii, Out on PlayStation in 2024
Love the art style. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 464
@TheArt @Ravix You should play Iki island after finishing the main game, as the are some story spoilers from the ending.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 438
@Royalblues Noah Caldwell-Gervais does in my opinion the best video essays about games.
Re: Intergalactic Adventure No Man's Sky Sets Destination for PSVR2
@ApostateMage Unfortunately, Frontier seems to have abandoned console versions completely, to focus solely on pc.

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege's New Season Operation Shadow Legacy Is Live Today
Very excited for this update and especially for the new ping system. I hope it continues to evolve towards a more apex legends looking one.
Re: Can You Name These PlayStation Peripherals?
10/15 and I only knew the back button attachment. I laughed so hard at the playstation pregnancy kit

Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Buying Ghost of Tsushima?
I thought it was great. I have some reservations for the combat but overall I'm excited. Loved the black and white mode, too.
And I guess we don't really need an assassin's creed set in Japan anymore.
Re: Mafia: Definitive Edition Is a Full Remake with Expanded Story, Not Just a Remaster
Yes!!! Super excited for this. Mafia is in my top 3 or 5 games of all time. Love the sequel, too. The third not so much, but I still like it.
Re: Mafia Trilogy Announcement Teased for Next Week
Didn't think they'd remake/remaster the first game. It's in my top 5 games so really looking forward to seeing more of it.
Re: How Well Do You Know Your Assassin's Creed Protagonists?
7/8 for me. The year of Altair was a tricky one.
Re: Live: Watch Assassin's Creed Valhalla's First Trailer
Well CG trailers from the previous games are some of the best so I'm excited, even if I'd like to see some gameplay, too.
Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Revealed, Cinematic Trailer Coming Tomorrow
Best tease for a game ever? I sure enjoyed it and looking forward to it, after playing Odyssey first.
Re: Assassin's Creed PS5 Livestream Continues, Ubisoft Registers 'Assassin's Creed Valhalla' Website Domain
That was 8 hours!!! I had it running since the beginning. Amazing work by the artist. I could never ever do such work myself.

@FullbringIchigo and some last of us spoilers, so be careful.
Re: Long Lost PS4 Exclusive WiLD Resurfaces with New Concept Art
This and Beyond Good and Evil 2 were announced way too early. Still looking forward to them both, though.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 320
@gollumb82 I'm doing the same in Dirt rally 2 with the lancia. The rainy track in Spain is a pain in the a**, but I love it anyway.

Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Adds Free Ezio Armour Set in Strange 4GB Update
I read somewhere that the 4gb are about fixing some problems with the Atlantis DLC, but not sure if it's true.

If the rumours from a couple of years ago are true, then we could be expecting a Las Vegas setting during the 70s. Casino (movie) vibes.
