Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

SunnyInVR

VR does get expensive additional £1000+ for racing rig, £100 or so for gun stock etc, all very much optional but I think it is worth it tho not got the gun stock, chasing the immersion (dragon) does take u down further into the rabbit hole, got the slip-angle kit for racing rig coming in a day or two, with the yawvr2 by the end of the year,

Re: Soapbox: PS5's Next-Gen PSVR Headset Is Going to Drop Jaws in 2022

Got PSVR day one, and have loved it, but the move controllers left me wanting more, also lack of racing games, so got myself a Ryzen 7 2060 gaming laptop, and the quest/Quest2 and rarely use the PS5, that's more used for the free 6 month AppleTV subscription,
I hope at the very least GT7 will work with PSVR1, otherwise it will just sit in the cupboard, and will definitely be getting PSVR2, and hopefully will go under the scalpers radar

Re: Mini Review: Fracked (PSVR) - A Fun VR Shooter with Oh-So Much Style

@Vacuumator I guessing the games will need to patched, for a start new controllers for a start has less buttons, the direction it's tracked from, addition of thumbsticks, resolution, upgraded textures from 1080p to almost 4K, eye tracking implementation, that's just top of my head, probably more to it,

Original camera most like be useless as won't be able to track PSVR2 as it won't have have the tracking lights on the headset, as it be using inside out tracking like the quest, to add the 9 lights it already has on the headset will just add additional costs to the price of PSVR2,

Re: PS5 Preorder Price Is $699 on Play-Asia, Has Fans Praying It's a Placeholder

SunnyInVR

Target had it at 399
So it's be priced between 399 and 699
According to these so called leeks, I have unfollowed so many from YouTube, just jumping on every single rumour or apparent leaks just for clicks, only pretty much just follow VR peeps now, with a few flat/pancake channels, and u lot at push have been pretty bad with the clickbait of late,

Re: Feature: PSVR Had a Great Start, But It's Time to Up the Ante

SunnyInVR

I be building a pc in the few months, along with a quest, and ps5 will have to wait and no longer a day one purchase, I fear my PSVR will start gathering dust, be at least 2 years b4 PSVR2 comes along, and it will have to be mind-blowing, and be a hybrid standalone/ps5 wireless communication system, by

Re: Soapbox: Why Half-Life: Alyx Is a Big Moment for PSVR

SunnyInVR

I gonna start saving for a Gaming PC, and most likely a oculus quest for HL:A, With PSVR2 at least 2 years away, PSVR has already started to look old with the Moves limitations, (no Analog sticks) they really should've updated them even oculus came up with the touch controllers within a year and that changed the game for them, more forced into making them otherwise the HTC Vive would've left them in the dust, and this will mean ps5 won't be a day one purchase now, will be a wait and see what PSVR2 will offer, will eventually get PS5 6 months-1year later along with PSVR2,

Re: Espire 1: VR Operative Brings the Splinter Cell Experience to PSVR, Out Now

SunnyInVR

Yeah I hear this is broken, not being able to turn off click turning and narrowing of fov when moving, but patch incoming to fix issues and 3dRudder support coming as well.

@dange maybe u need to check a few PSVR tubers, this been on my radar for months, polish Paul does upcoming games and reviews, PSVR without parole does reviews and a weekly PSVR podcast, also freality podcast on Saturdays covering all vr, vrlink on Sundays covering all vr, there's this amazing VR community and creators out there, and none of this fanboyism

Re: Guide: Will Half-Life: Alyx Ever Come to PSVR and PS4?

SunnyInVR

I gonna start saving for a gaming PC and PCVR headset, as it's gonna be at least 2 years for PSVR2, and with move controllers in its current state, is gonna get PSVR owners jumping ship like myself, with great games like Asgard's wrath, stormlands and upcoming like half life and medal of honour, tho will still keep hold of my my PSVR going into ps5 for GT7 and more, freakin love VR.

Re: Borderlands 2 VR - A Handsome Adaptation

As someone who dislikes the moves, it works really well for BL2VR, I probably end end up switching from ds4 and moves depending on my mood, tho Aim would be the best control method, really enjoying this game, and highly praised by the big PSVR streamers like Without Parole, DavestationVR, Polish Paul etc.
