Re: Reaction: E3 Is a Relic Desperately Clinging to Relevancy

Used to love when E3 was about showing off new hardware and innovative games, no matter how bad the idea was.

This was more previews (some that was not actual gameplay) of known releases and the same old genres, which we get throughout the year with State of Play and Nintendo Direct.

Re: PS5 Users Are Playing More and Buying More Than PS4 Early Adopters

@Enigk you've got me started now.

I agree, most of the playtime would be PS4 games, the PS5 doesn't actually have that many exclusive and many people are regarding PS4 games as PS5 exclusives. I dont regard Breath of the Wild or Mario Kart 8 as a Switch exclusive.

The benefits are the faster to non-existent load times, upgraded visuals, sound which you'd expect from ports and the vibrations from the controller.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Returnal?

@nessisonett what's interesting about that is the same number of people who voted didn't play in the first question also entered that on the 2nd.

Which means there's a good chance a number of people have scored the game, but didn't disclose how long they've played for...

Re: PS5 Console Sales Reach 7.8 Million, Beating PS4's Record

Been saying since day one, it plays PS4 games with faster load times and better graphics and somewhat different feel from the controller.

There's one game on it that is really a PS5 only game, Returnal, the other available exclusives would run on a PS4 and there's 2022 games getting a PS4 release.

I can deal with load times, PS4 is pretty quick and live without ray tracing.

And with that, what else does PS5 offer? Unreleased and unseen games.

Re: Soapbox: I Don't Think Sony's Obsession with PS5 Blockbusters Aligns with Reality

As a Nintendo fan, you get used to trash talk, Wii U games ported on Switch was a massive talking point. Some of that flack was from people who post on here. but when you've got ace games and a great platform, you'll get the last laugh.

But PS5 feels different to me, I just think I'm looking at a PS4 Pro+ as it mostly boasts about PS4 games with better graphics, load times and ray tracing, next year games are still coming out for PS4 and it's finally getting a game that looks like it can only run on PS5.

I wasn't impressed how PS4 turned out, by the PS5 or what Sony have been doing as a business, I'm nowhere near wanting to buy a PS5 right now.

It's never too late for Sony to fix that for me, but for others, damage is done, xbox doesn't care about exclusives and I think it's going to work out for them.
