Kind of wish I had waited for this performance patch, it did not run well at all. Still, loved the game, guess my own impatience is to blame here.

The PS1 clearly has to win, iconic and really hits the nostalgia hard, but I really like the PS5 one.

It looks great so every time I boot up its a reminder "This is why you got a nice OLED 4k TV"

The 30 FPS is a huge turnoff. I was playing PGA2K and thought that that game was also capped at 30 FPS, not realizing there was an option to play at 60 FPS in a performance mode. It was soooo much better in 60FPS. It makes a huge difference in a golf game, when timing is so important.

Definite pickup. FF1 was one of my first games. Was about 6 years old, didn't know how to buy equipment, and never got past Garland, but I loved it.

I am 100% in the market for this. I would love a machine that could do away with the gameplay modes we currently have, and deliver 4K @120HZ w/ ray tracing.

If thats a bridge too far, 4K @60HZ w/ray tracing would be acceptable, with 4K 120HZ without ray tracing as an option.

@nathanSF What put me off was mainly the style of the game. I loved the timing/reactionary combat of the batman games, and really was wanting a successor more along the same lines from rocksteady. I don't like the 3rd person floaty shoot everything they showcased. Also them talking about gear level, the game being a live service game, battle pass etc, it all just turned me off of it.

I was mildly interested in suicide squad but after today that interest plummeted to 0. Not gonna get it, not even gonna pay attention to further coverage. Pass

I really liked GT7, but for me can only enjoy it so much without a proper racing wheel. Got to a point where I felt I couldn't really even play it anymore, growing frustrated with the limitations of a controller, although to their credit the controller drives much better than I anticipated.

I am very tempted to splurge, I don't even know.... $1200 to get PSVR2 and a racing wheel/pedals to play this. The temptation is strong, but I just can't do it, it just can't be worth that much.

I had never played this, but started to last year after I got my PS5. The consistent 60 FPS in most games on PS5 now has spoiled me, and 30 FPS just feels like the game is broken now, running slow and bad. It's not to the point of unplayable, but I'd just rather play something else.

Need to get this updated, as well as Bloodborne.

They ruined the dragon age franchise by having to make it more accessible starting in Dragon age II, making it more action-y. It's too bad more people don't have patience to learn/appreciate the combat in DA:O, because it is absolutely one of the best ever. Can't get big budget RPG games like that anymore, not enough people to play them.

Edit: thought I should say I enjoyed both II and Inquisition, but it's just not the same.

@DTfeartheBEARD I've never tried gyro aiming, the concept has always sounded miserable to me. I dunno haha, I have callisto protocol though, didn't even know it was an option, I'll try it out.

More games should have trophies for beating on hardest difficulties. Too many games have platinums that don't require you to actually achieve anything.

They need to have another astrobot game packaged in as a launch title.

wow, little surprised by the reaction. I liked it overall. The turtles collection is awesome, a reason to jump back into returnal has me excited. The kurosawa samurai game was intriguing. same for the co-op vs dinosaurs. The others were meh, not interested at all in them.

Helldivers 2!!!! Can't wait!

@Bentleyma- yeah, hated the combat in that game. GF's take forever, draw system busted. Monster level scaling. Lot of problems. Music and story B+. Triple Triad A+
