@ShogunRok Must admit, he's warming on me as quickly as my hate for Steven Naismith is growing. Utter scumbag, but he knows where the goal is when his team need him. The Scot, of course
@General_Spiller It's really sad that CDPR are getting love for doing something which should - and used to! - be the norm. Nintendo were the same too, people being surprised at the pricing/content of the Mario Kart 8 DLC. These sort of things shouldn't even be regarded as something different. Maybe one day it won't be again. I hope so.
@Matt_Berial Those people need to pull their head out of the sand more often. Titanfall on PS4 was as obvious as Chelsea players surrounding a referee.
No 'none of these games' option? It's a pretty poor looking 2015 for me. Not a single one of those games will be bought (unless Tearaway had substantial additions or is budget priced). Then again I didn't buy a PlayStation for the exclusives as nearly all of them over the PS3, Vita and 4 - to me - have been poor.
@dudeware Go in like this www.automation-drive.com/EX/05-14-20/Blackadder_IV_-_Goodbyeee.jpg with someone holding your hand. You can have that solution for free. No idea how to put the image in the actual post I'm afraid.
Sure there's some people absolutely delighted with this news. Good luck to them, hope it's a good game for you. Personally I'm not fussed if PS4 gets it or the game is cancelled tomorrow. The first one managed to make COD look exciting despite this having giant robots (none of that 'they're Titans, rubbish'). Giant robots almost always make things better. Unless you're a Michael Bay movie.
@Matt_Berial Who? The world and his wife knew it would come to PS4.
@General_Spiller That's the way with 99% of video game companies I'm afraid. There's only a handful who aren't like that. EA get the most hate because of their annual games (to be fair, sports games make sense yearly) but there are others just as bad or worse.
@XFsWorld Whether you suck, you're brilliant or average at a game you are allowed to think it's not very good you know? There's plenty of games I'm awful at (Monkey Ball) that I love and brilliant at (COD, Battlefield, etc) yet really don't like.
@get2sammyb Bored me to tears. Just hated absolutely every second I played and wish I could have that time back. I couldn't stand the first either but gave the second a go... didn't like it. But, rather than get into a discussion on that game, the fact that I can't remove something like that from my own profile is stupid, like @Boerewors said. You could 'hide' certain games on PS3 but you can't on PS4. Bit daft.
Just let me remove Olioli 2 from my trophy list. Biggest pile of garbage I've ever played in my life. Sadly I have one trophy from it so it's not going to happen.
@Punished_Boss_84 Fair enough, my post wasn't meant to sound so snarky but reading it back it does seem it (unintentionally). Game Freak have spoke before of their displeasure of the Wii U hardware though and, to be fair to them, it must be annoying only ever making Pokémon games. Just wish they'd make Pulseman 2.
@charlesnarles You used a word there which is I will say to you: spinoffs. They've always been just that as they don't want to make a home console Pokémon. As awesome as it would be, I agree with them. It's better suited to a handheld.
@Gamer83 They made a 3DS game a year or two ago called HarmoKnights. Simple but fun rhythm action game. It was only the Pokémon music (owned by Nintendo) and little nods and winks to the series that stopped it also being released on Vita.
@Inahime It is not an insult. I don't know if English is your first language but all "thick skin" means is not be insulted by everything. This is a prime example. You asked why your forum post was locked, I explained, you take it as an insult when there is nothing insulting about it. As for pestering, this is my fifth - fifth! - message to you. Ever. Feel free to complain about me again though because of that barrage of communication.
Yet again, I'd be rich if I had a penny for every time I've said this, Sony don't understand handheld gaming. It held back the PSP, it's failed with PSM and it's all but killed the Vita. "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it."
@Inahime You need to get a thicker skin. You seem to take everything to heart. Thread was locked because @get2sammyb told you where to go if you want to make a complaint.
Viewtiful Joe-reminding graphics, a feel of Donkey Kong Country Returns and the hope if it's doing well we'll FINALLY get a Pulseman sequel? Count me in.
@benrawr Maybe in three handheld console generations it will happen. Not before they can do those sort of games on the 3DS 4 or whatever it'll be called. A proper Pokémon will never happen on a home console as, as Game Freak and Nintendo have said a billion times, it's Pocket Monsters so they want it to always be portable.
So this delay is to make the game prettier. The next delay (of a day) will be to add some gameplay in?
Relax. It's a joke. More companies should aim to have a complete game out for launch. Sad that someone doing this is now a plus when it should be the norm.
@get2sammyb Take Ico and Shadow Of the Colossus out and it's awful in comparison to what Nintendo offered that generation. Even the worst 3D Mario is better than all the Ratchets and the latter two Sly games. I'll give you the first Sly though as that was great. Better than Microsoft, but all they had was Halo and... erm... nothing.
It's $14.99 so that's under a tenner here. Fully expect this to be £15 though because Sony.
@Gemuarto Like I said, least you tried it. The QTE comparison I do t get but oh well. The game is like an old style shooter (R-Type, Gradius, Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga), you need to learn routines to survive - once that clicks in your head the game flows much better and you understand what you're doing more. Not for everyone, seems to be a you hate it or love it game. The graphics though are deliberately bleached/faded/whatever (I'm no expert). You can tell that right from the off.
@SteveButler2210 Story didn't bother me, never do in that type of game. It was a great game because of how fun it was. Story, visuals, audio, etc are the cream on top of a cake, the game play is the cake itself. Did my advice help you in the end then?
@AhabSpampurse If you're American it is out today, but for us Europeans we have to wait Yurok 3pm(ish) tomorrow. And it is taking forever to get to that time.
@Gemuarto Maybe as - newsflash! - what you found bad others found great. Story, as I say above, really isn't important in a game like that. It's like watching an Expendables film for the story. Outdated visuals and broken I have to take issue with though as no part of the game is broken and the visuals are deliberately that way, as if footage of an 8-bit game on an old VHS tape. You can call it bad or whatever, your opinion, but you can't just make crap up to suit your argument. At least you tried it though, all you can ask. Can't stand people who have an opinion on something when they haven't tried it.
It's never going to be as good as the first as it was damn near perfect. Even though I don't think there should be a sequel I can't wait to get my hands on it.
@get2sammyb Do we know the price (preferably in here in Blighty) yet?
The majority of people who signed this are the sort who only buy COD games so it's unfair to say compare it to gamers who say there's too many remasters.
People saying your thumb naturally rests over x miss the point that it does that because you know x is confirm. As someone who plays a lot of Japanese games my thumb naturally rests over o, so this is great news for me. Too often I've switched from a Japanese to a European game and then started pressing the wrong button. It's a minor gripe that, truth be told, is got over within ten seconds but no longer! Now I can have the correct confirm button, no matter what game I play.
Then again, dropping the PS3 price at all will hurt Sony's masterplan of convincing people to buy every PS3 game they own again while looking 1.75% prettier or through PS Now.
@MadchesterManc So you're now saying The Order should be on? Ain't no way it's AAA
@Gamer83 Just out of interest I had a look at the EU blog. Close to 400 posts, no replies from anyone at Sony. Personally I don't think they need to apologise as it's not like it's the end of the world but the majority of people want one so it's not that hard to say "sorry" is it. May even look like they care about their customers - then again, can't have that can they?
@Ginkgo I disagree on its appeal. People who buy just a couple of games a year won't invest until their games (COD, GTA, FIFA, etc) are on it and those companies won't touch it until it's looking like a winner, which it won't be as after initial opening day hype it will rot as no-one really wants it. Vita 2.0.
@get2sammyb I'm only cynical as VR comes around every five years then vanishes without a trace. Seen it happen time and time again (showing my age) and this won't be any different.
Two other points I'd add is even here - on a Sony site - it's 50/50, and it looks stupid. Johnny Casual and his missus won't put that on their head as they'd look a tit, no matter how impressive the tech is.
Couldn't care less. If it's more than £150-200 max it won't sell to people other than die hard Sony fanboys and tech heads. Even around or under that it will be hard to sell as you can't see it in advertising so there's no point advertising it (hello 3DS in it's first eight months). Complete waste of time and money from a company who really can't afford to be wasting money and have a record with console add ons so bad even Sega shake their head. For what it's likely costing they need nearly every PS4 owner to buy this when less than a tenth will give a damn.
@Inahime Nowt wrong with that and, just so you know, I'm not having a go at you or anything. I just accepted the Vita's fate within it's first six months (it's been obvious since then the console will never be what we wanted) and it means I can enjoy it more. Same with Wii U. They are my two favourite current consoles I own, I couldn't care less that they're both failures, I just enjoy the games.
@Inahime Excellent use of your eyes there. I said all but dead. Never mind though. The Vita is all but dead. All. But. Dead. If you don't like it then fine, but don't try and make out like it's healthy and fine and about to bounce back. You'll only upset yourself. As I said, just enjoy the games we have and will be getting.
@Inahime You seem to be adopting Sony's primary strategy, head in the sand. What do you expect the boss to say? "Vita is dead! We don't care! Can't believe you morons bought it!!! Mwuahahahahaha"?
There's no Lazarus-like comeback with Vita. Sony don't want there to be as they do not give a flying f*** about it. They don't support the machine, they ignore it, they make sure people don't buy it by still having a stupid price for a machine near death and it's ludicrous memory cards. PS3 came back as people supported it, next to nobody (bar indies) support Vita apart from the odd exception like here. PSP? Really? It improved, I'll give you that, but it got trounced by the most successful handheld console ever. Not exactly a great comparison. PSP though, like PS3, had support from third parties and Sony studios. Noticing a theme here?
Just enjoy the console and stop worrying about it. Better consoles have gone quicker (Dreamcast) and worse have lasted longer. Even though it is all but dead it doesn't mean we Vita owners can't keep on playing our games and enjoying the scraps we're fed.
@ToddlerNaruto The one before Crimes and Punishments was better, Testament Of Sherlock Holmes. This one was really boring and went on for ages - despite it being a collection of smaller cases rather than one long case.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Sony did a poll on their blog about what people thought of the offerings. It lasted about two months as they were amazed that people weren't as pleased as they hoped. Sadly they seem to just do what they please without looking at what people are saying. Rightly or wrongly the PS+ bashers are louder and in more numbers than the lovers. Sony didn't like being told they were doing what many (again rightly or wrongly) think is a poor job so got rid of the polls rather quickly. Head in the sand is their plan a, b and c.
@XFsWorld Not seriously, obviously. Although it never will come to PS+ due to it getting terrible reviews (games have to get a certain score or above).
@teknium_ Didn't read the article, did you? "The net result of all of this is that mock-up images are appearing all over the web, the majority of which look like hoaxes. And people are, sadly, being pulled in by them" Octodad and Lego Marvel included.
As I said in the forum discussion I hope it's Lego Hobbit so it forces TT Games to give us the sodding Five Armies DLC that they promised us nearly a year ago would be coming.
I couldn't care if the games are announced a day, a week, a month or not at all before the moment they're available. Personally I think they should always just go up on the first Wednesday of the month and be done with it. What I do care about is if Sony say "we announce them a week before" then you do it. It isn't hard. If there is a problem then say so, rather than sticking your head in the sand.
What is annoying is how these negotiations are sorted months in advance, we're told, yet last week there was still "i's to do dot, and t's to cross." A week on - and just hours before launch - nothing still. It's unprofessional, which is a word you can use to describe Sony an awful lot recently. You can care or not care about not knowing the games yet but the simple, cold, hard truth is Sony are once again treating their customers like they couldn't give a toss about them. We know that isn't true but that is how they're coming across. Again.
@SKC_Diamond It features a few new things, it's not different enough to warrant a second purchase (as of yet, until they show us) - especially when the original can be beat in a couple of hours and has no replay value. A shame as it was brilliant first time through. It was given a cheaper price on release so I'm intrigued to see what the price will be. Anything over £30 is, frankly, absurd.
@themcnoisy With the amount of crap he throws out of his mouth he always gets a couple of things right, using them as proof of his genius despite the much larger amount of wrong predictions. Like football gossip columns, link Player X to every club over a week or two and then when he moves to one you've already told your readers he would go there.
@GHO5T-08-12-80 No, they shouldn't. They should make another game but no more remasters. GTA made sense as it always should have been on current generation consoles but RDR? No. Remaster it next generation maybe, but not this one.
Amuses me that these are "complex negotiations" that are sorted "months in advance" yet just before reveal day they always have a last minute of "dotting 'i's and crossing the last few 't's" before announcing the lineup. They should have just said "taking longer than usual, probably won't be til Monday, apologies" and it's all sorted rather than saying something different each day. Or, better yet, don't reveal them until the day they're up for download.
@BAMozzy An under-performing Rayman that has one brilliant level and then loads of worse-than-meh? Bet they're shaking in their boots... The day Rayman is a highlight is a sad day indeed. I'll kick PS+ when it needs it but it has never been that bad it's had to rely on that buffoon.
"the ever approachable employee apologised" only if the right questions are asked. During the big fuss over PS+ last summer or when people have complaints his replies are as rare as hens teeth.
Sadly never used series this. Nina and all the gang from BOF3, the best one, are going to be in the Sonic comic this summer in a Sega/Capcom crossover - http://www.seganerds.com/2015/02/24/archie-comics-reveals-more-characters-in-segacapcom-comic-crossover/ (great site for any Sega fanboys reading this) and is probably the only chance we have of seeing anything new to do with BOF ever again. Phone sequel doesn't count.
@Inahime Nobody hates it and if it had been marketed as that originally that would be fine. The ill feeling comes from Sony screwing people over time after time with the machine. Vita could have been so much more than it is reduced to if someone at Sony had even a few good ideas on what to do in the handheld market. Put it this way if Nintendo made Vita and Sony the 3DS then Vita would be on top by miles as they would utilise, support and market it. Keep repeating myself but Nintendo get handhelds, Sony don't.
I hope the good will carries on. Sadly we all know what Capcom are like and it wouldn't be surprise to see the scores and good feelings go down with each further release. Hopefully this can be a turning point for them.
@ShogunRok @General_Spiller The majority of games on that list are never being released either here or ever on Vita (Gravity Rush 2, PSO, Toro), coming to PS4/3 and are only on Vita because of Sony forcing CrossPlay on developers or aren't anything to write home about irregardless of taste. I'm not denying Vita has some good games coming up - and despite what some on here think you won't find a Vita-owner who loves the machine more than I and thankfully I know Japanese so can get more out of it than most - but I still stand by what I said. It looks decent but most promising on Vita is sadly hardly anything special now going forward. Joe Allen once played a beautiful ball into Luis Suarez. Once. Does that make him better than average?
EDIT (March 3rd): Joe Allen made Yaya Toure look like the worst midfielder to play at Anfield this season over the weekend. Wrong comparison to make there I think, haha.
Already have this preordered at Play Asia and looking forward to it. Did have a chuckle at the 'Continues to Look like One of Vita's Most Promising Games' part of the headline. Nice bit of propaganda to make it sound like Vita has loads of great titles on the way. If the game releases over here Sony should demand those words are used in adverts.

As I said, just enjoy the games we have and will be getting.
Re: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Continues to Look like One of Vita's Most Promising Games
Re: March's Free PlayStation Plus Games include Oddworld PS4, OlliOlli 2, and Valiant Hearts
Re: March's Free PlayStation Plus Games include Oddworld PS4, OlliOlli 2, and Valiant Hearts
Well that was worth the wait... I'll take Valiant Hearts and leave the rest. Papo and Yo is a great game by the way, really enjoyed my time with it.
Re: Sony Still Schtum on March's PlayStation Plus Update
@KratosMD Wouldn't be the first time a game that was just on sale was added to PS+, especially if one game did get pulled at the last minute.
Re: Sony Still Schtum on March's PlayStation Plus Update
@teknium_ Didn't read the article, did you? "The net result of all of this is that mock-up images are appearing all over the web, the majority of which look like hoaxes. And people are, sadly, being pulled in by them" Octodad and Lego Marvel included.
As I said in the forum discussion I hope it's Lego Hobbit so it forces TT Games to give us the sodding Five Armies DLC that they promised us nearly a year ago would be coming.
Re: Sony Still Schtum on March's PlayStation Plus Update
Again.
Re: Site News: Fill in Our Reader Survey and We'll Give You a Gold Star
Owatta (done).
Re: There's Going to Be a Big Metal Gear Solid V Announcement Tomorrow
No bum-numbingly long cutscen... hahahaha. Couldn't even write it.
Re: Tearaway Unfolded Will Send You a Message This Summer on PS4
@SKC_Diamond It features a few new things, it's not different enough to warrant a second purchase (as of yet, until they show us) - especially when the original can be beat in a couple of hours and has no replay value. A shame as it was brilliant first time through. It was given a cheaper price on release so I'm intrigued to see what the price will be. Anything over £30 is, frankly, absurd.
Re: Rockstar Keeping Red Dead Redemption PS4 Holstered for Now, Reckons Pachter
@themcnoisy With the amount of crap he throws out of his mouth he always gets a couple of things right, using them as proof of his genius despite the much larger amount of wrong predictions. Like football gossip columns, link Player X to every club over a week or two and then when he moves to one you've already told your readers he would go there.
@GHO5T-08-12-80 No, they shouldn't. They should make another game but no more remasters. GTA made sense as it always should have been on current generation consoles but RDR? No. Remaster it next generation maybe, but not this one.
Re: March PlayStation Plus Announcement Still Not Ready to Go
Amuses me that these are "complex negotiations" that are sorted "months in advance" yet just before reveal day they always have a last minute of "dotting 'i's and crossing the last few 't's" before announcing the lineup.
Re: Get Great Deals on 8 Weeks of Upcoming PS4 Games with the PlayStation Store's Newest Promotion
1p off for every £30 spent is what the UK deal will be. Extra penny if on PS+. Compared to the American sales the European ones really are abysmal.
Re: Sony Making Final Arrangements for March PlayStation Plus Freebies
"the ever approachable employee apologised" only if the right questions are asked. During the big fuss over PS+ last summer or when people have complaints his replies are as rare as hens teeth.
Re: Hotline Miami 2 Is Butchering Its Way onto PS4 and Vita Next Month
About bloody time. Taking March 10th off.
Re: What Do You Mean You've Never Played... Breath of Fire IV?
Sadly never used series this. Nina and all the gang from BOF3, the best one, are going to be in the Sonic comic this summer in a Sega/Capcom crossover - http://www.seganerds.com/2015/02/24/archie-comics-reveals-more-characters-in-segacapcom-comic-crossover/ (great site for any Sega fanboys reading this) and is probably the only chance we have of seeing anything new to do with BOF ever again. Phone sequel doesn't count.
Re: Batman: Arkham Knight's New PS4 Trailer Has a Plan
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi You need to apply for a job at Rocksteady and get that in as an unlockable or DLC.
Re: Batman: Arkham Knight's New PS4 Trailer Has a Plan
Looks fantastic, as we all know it likely will be. Still don't like the Batmobile sections though, just seen to be there to have something new.
Re: By the Grace of the Goddess, Dragon Quest Heroes is Coming West on PS4
Whoop! If it's even half as much fun as Hyrule Warriors then we're in for a treat.
Re: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Continues to Look like One of Vita's Most Promising Games
Re: PS4 Brawler Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Delayed Until Wednesday on EU PS Store
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Don't put Shenmue pictures on here. Every time I see Ryo my heart breaks knowing I'll never see him again in his own game
Re: Round Up: Resident Evil: Revelations 2 PS4 Reviews Are a Sight for Sore Eyes
I hope the good will carries on. Sadly we all know what Capcom are like and it wouldn't be surprise to see the scores and good feelings go down with each further release. Hopefully this can be a turning point for them.
Re: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Continues to Look like One of Vita's Most Promising Games
Re: PS4 Brawler Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Delayed Until Wednesday on EU PS Store
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi What did you expect? It's a fighting game! Add in a new character or two, maybe a new stage and go.
Re: Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Continues to Look like One of Vita's Most Promising Games
