The only time I get excited for a new NFL is when Angry Joe drops a review for one. I swear he gets angrier and angrier with each release.

I didn't do anything differently. I installed the update and then after about 20 min of Miles Morales it crashed. Seems to work fine after that. Was just ironic that my first crash was after the update. It could of been the game itself. Will see.

Also themes! Its weird that there are no themes available. I always have a Christmas theme this time of year to get me in the holiday mood but there will be nothing this year. The store also needs work. Finding sales is tough and it is really all over the place.

@God_of_Nowt Yeah I can't help but think they bit of a bit more than they could chew. I really hope I am wrong too as I do really want this to be amazing but I will wait for the reviewers i trust first cause sometimes gamers can view things through tinted glasses (like "OMG, this has Keanu reeves so it gets an extra point. I love Keanu, he is so awesome (even if his dialog and part ends up tanking in the game)).

There is just something off about the game. Maybe it doesn't demo well or something and it shines with personal play but time will tell.

Not gonna lie I was a little underwhelmed by the world and the showcase today. I'm sure the writing is superb but I still wanted to be wowed by the visual like I did with the Witcher 3.

Anyone on the fence about this please watch Skill Ups review. Its on point. I loved odyssey but I feel like this one has shortcomings.

The only remakes I want are from ps1 or ps2 otherwise I don't see the point. Silent Hill, Syphon Filter, Burnout 3, Metal Gear Solid, Legacy of Kain, and Dark Cloud.

I hope more developers start using the dualsense to its full potential especially first party deva. Spiderman was a little underwhelming. I feel like the tension with swinging could be a little more

@Cheems It says in the review. 10 - 15 hours. So a little short I suppose but not too bad for a platformer.

Will definitely get this once it's on sale. I'm currently making my way through Miles Morales. The 60fps mode is such a smooth experience. After that I will be diving into demon souls but waiting for my friend in the UK to start that cause he asked me to lol

It sounds like Sony need a software fix immediately. They are already having a rocky launch with bots and pre-orders, mainly due to Covid, and this is just an extra layer of sourness on top of all the other stuff.

I'm not gonna lie I'm a little concerned. Yes I know all electronics has a small defective rate but the crashes are happening to everyone I know. They need a fix asap. There are some YouTubers who have bricked consoles and even you guys had issues. People are saying not to use rest mode or an external harddrive but all I hear is "our is ps5 is kind of shoddy so please don't use features that are supposed to be used cause it might F#$% up your console".

Will see what happens. Still waiting for my PS5 to be delivered. Kind of irritated seeing as people who ordered today are getting theirs tomorrow or Saturday. Let's just say that Covid has made this launch a real pain in the butt

Watch skill ups review. It shows all the flaws that I was worried about. The combat is jarring and the grind is worse than odyssey. No thanks.

This gives me hope that the new resident evil is on track for a release early next year.

I resigned from my job to go back to school in Jan for my Masters Degree so I have all the free time a man could want for the next 2 months.

I just finished playing odyssey and got the platinum last night so I will he waiting a while before I get Valhalla. I need a big break between my assassin creed fixes lol

I mean PS5 wi have better exclusives and I am getting one but for the first time I am looking at an Xbox. More powerful console, absolutely better backwards compatible, auto hdr, quick resume, actually patching a lot of older xbox games to take advantage, and from what we see the Sony ssd isn't that much faster and in some 3rd party games worse(obviously depends on developer). Take into consideration all the studios Microsoft bought and they are rumored to be eyeing one or two more, then the Xbox is actually looking pretty great. I love Sony consoles but Xbox really hit it out the park this time around.

After the bare bone effort of the Hot Pursuit remaster I am not going to get my hopes up. It will be a remaster with no visual or gameplay upgrades except some better frame rates and resolution.

basically after today I realized xbox series x is the better console. Yes I will still stay playstation cause of the japanese games and exclusives but its obvious who has the better console now.

@Ichiban It usually takes me a couple of months to play an open world game if not more. Days gone isn't too bad if you follow the main storyline. Witcher 3 probably took me around 3 -4 months to do the main quest and some side content. For me the sweet spot is a 30-40 hour game which means I get around 2 months worth of content.

@GZoo Downgrade your tires. There is a guide that helps a lot and it honestly means downgrading certain things, but seriously this trophy took me hours.

This game was a weird one. I tried to get into it like 3 times and got about 4 hours in and was absolutely bored. Then one day I picked it up and had a blast even got the platinum. I wouldnt play it again but if you haven't played an open world game or a zombie game in ages I would recommend giving it another go especially with the upgrade.

I highly doubt a lot of tru next gen games are going to be available at 120fps. I think kost 120fps modes will be reserved for remasters and indie games in a couple of years as graphics get more demanding

Demon Souls and Spider Man came with my Gamestop bundle so those games for now. I am eyeing Godfall but that will depend on reviews

@Sissyrobyn996 really? Resi 7, astrobot, beat saber, superhot, blood and truth, until dawn, headmaster, everybody's golf VR say hi. There are quite a few decent games. Also no mans sky has given more free content than any other game. Yeah it was a little disappointing at launch but they have delivered way past what they original presented.

@Jeremiah_Thor same here. I was really excited cause I felt like the ps4 pro was just a little too underpowered and I was excited to get some better visuals. Looks like we ain't getting anything. This has to be the shortest a device from Sony has been supported. Worse than the vita even

Well that sucks. I feel like sony were really shady on this. Its all just confusing and with the ps5 2 weeks away we still have mixed messaging. They are basically saying "yeah psvr will have no more games, thanks for the purchase". They just said recently that they are excited about the future of VR and then kill their device in an instant. I rarely get frustrated in gaming news (delays, bad games etc) but this is something I feel like I got scammed a bit on.

We did it guys. We got GTA V out of the top 10 lol. Well if this is physical only I don't think it's too much of a concern cause most people will buy digital to avoid going to a store.

This totally put me off the game. I was gonna give it a go when it was on sale but I am not too sure now. When will developers learn about always online.

About 6 months ago everyone was such a sony fan boy/girl but now its all moaning and whinging. Gamers are really an entitled bunch sometimes.

@TheFrenchiestFry Its weird cause all the fans have been asking for a reboot or remake of the underground series and they choose hot pursuit 2010. I agree with the burnout one too. Takedown was one of the best racers ever. I feel like paradise was an easy money maker cause of the little effort needed

Not much from me as I will be working and have some family coming over. Probably some No Mans Sky (loving the new update) and maybe a couple of hours of Assassin's creed odyssey, I'm around 13 hours in and I can't quite get into it. I enjoyed origins a lot more for some reason.

I got the ultimate edition with the bundle I bought. Only going to play miles morales. I already have the platinum for spider man and these changes aren't enough to warrant a second play through.

Will definitely give this a go when I start up the machine. I want to see what all the fuss is about the dualsense

They need to have all the classic tracks, classic single player campaign and a lot more "regular cars" for me to buy it this time around. GT sport was decent but didn't feel like a true gt game.
