That's a quick turnaround to be showing their next game considering Greedfall was less than a year ago. I've not played it myself but my Mum enjoyed it so I'll keep an eye on it.

@huyi If you can wait that long it will no doubt be the best console version. I want to play the game as soon as I can. With the date now late November there is a strong chance I'll be putting the PS4 disc into a PS5 anyway.

@OlosNah I wouldn't be surprised if the developers would have had an easier time if they skipped the current gen. It was never really an option though, the idea of the game started back when the current gen did and from a financial viewpoint they can't pass up a potential 130/140 million customers.
I'm sure the game will play just the same on current gen, it just won't look as spectacular as PC and eventual next gen versions.

@OlosNah At present they have no plans for a PS5 version. When the PS5 comes out you can get a patch which will improve the PS4 version. A proper upgrade to fully utilize the PS5 is not coming until 2021 so a full PS5 version won't come until then at the earliest.
I believe they probably won't release a PS5 version until the expansions are out and then will do a Game of the year style edition with everything included.

I have seen and can whole-heartily recommend the first 4 listed here. I would also suggest The Witcher videos on Noclip as well. I'm hoping Danny and his crew are doing some behind the scenes stuff for Cyberpunk.

I already liked John Oliver, now even more so.

I wonder if we will be able to ride a Bristleback? It looks like the Shellsnapper might be able to catch us by surprise in the game and appear like a small landmass in swampy areas too.

My copy didn't arrive until Tuesday and with work I didn't start it yesterday. First real session with this today

Loving it so far, just reached Seattle.

If this gets a photo-mode it will probably double my playtime.

I don't want to see too much but I thought the first episode had just the right amount of gameplay to give you a feel without spoiling anything. If it carries on like this it should be good. Maybe a different aspect of gameplay a month until release.

It may be further away and no longer coming out when I'm hol but I'm still super excited to play this. I might be putting my disk into a PS5 instead of PS4 so will probably run better too.

Only caught the last few minutes. For me it looks like something I'll try later on in a sale. I think as long as it is bug free with competent gameplay this could still be a big seller. A good marketing campaign with this brand and it will probably do very well.

That would be extremely disappointing to me personally if it's true. I have zero interest in the idea. I'll try and keep an open mind though as Rocksteady deserve some trust.

When I finally get the game and make it to this bit I’m going to see if I can make a knot.

I saw the tweet and apparently it is the work of an extremely talented developer called Jaros Sinecky. It’s cool seeing other developers commenting on how difficult it must have been to implement.

Unfortunately I haven’t received my copy of TLOU 2 yet so consoling myself by carrying on with HZD and dallying in RDR online.
Plus football is back so gaming less this weekend.

I pre-ordered a while back from The Game Collection. They promptly posted it first class yesterday morning but Royal Mail have decided first class is 2 days for me it seems. Oh well, hopefully it gets here fairly early tomorrow.

Has CD Projekt said what time the Night City Wire stream is? The only info I can find is the day.

If the PS5 comes out before I'll definitely play it on that, but if not I'm not waiting. Even if I end up switching mid playthrough I'm starting this game as soon as it launches. It certainly seems like it will have plenty of replay-ability so I can do another run after the meatier upgrade next year.

I missed the show as I was working. Sounds like I didn’t miss much. I’ll check out the Star Wars gameplay shortly. I don’t believe the Mass Effect remasters rumour, surely if it was coming this year why would it not be announced?

It's a shame as I had the week off when it was scheduled to release. Still, I firmly support their belief in releasing the game as polished as possible.
I've already got the PS4 CE pre-oredered so if the PS5 is out by then hopefully it will be patched up to play better on that.

@TheNewButler yeah, I thought the same. It looks like a sloped disc shape in both pictures so think it's probably the same stand. If it's required regardless of orientation I believe it will be in the box.

I only miss having a load of new exciting stuff all in the space of a few days. Everyone having their stuff spread over a few months is fine but dilutes the experience somewhat.

This is the kind of thing that would /could persuade me to get PSVR.

@Paranoimia Oh yeah they could have saved themselves time and money and just tweeted new Star Wars game this Friday and pretty much had the same effect.
Although saying that the trailer has a pretty good like to dislike ratio, especially for an EA game.

@Paranoimia They could have done that but then there wouldn't be any point in it being in their EA Play event if they had shown it all now. Ok maybe they could have squeezed a few seconds of actual gameplay in but I'm fine with it with being nothing more than a cinematic trailer. It serves the purpose of generating interest and getting people watching the stream on Friday.

I'm a sucker for intricate details, this is pretty cool. Completely unnecessary but cool.

Still working on my HZD ultra hard play through, despite occasional hiccups I’m progressing well. Beginning to wonder if I will get my replay of TLOU done before Friday but I will give it a try.

Third choice is more tricky, probably RESI VIII but depends how I get on with VII. Kena and R&C look good.

That's good as I don't really have space by my TV for a standing console. I wonder when we might get actual dimensions? Even a side by side with a PS4 would be handy for reference.

Mainly gone against the popular vote on Cerny and PS5 physically being seen. Took a punt Silent Hill won't be there (normally at least one rumour turns out to be false). I think they will show a few PS4 games running improved on PS5 but will be older favourites like Spider-Man and God of War as opposed to the new games not yet out.

I hope there are a few genuine surprises that no-one has 'rumoured'. Only about 24 hours to go people. Hype building!

It's a shame I'll have to leave for work about 2/3rds through but I'll rewatch it in my break.

I've reached a point in my Ultra Hard second playthrough of HZD that is actually living up to it's name. Had my buns handed to me a few times now but managing to progress. I have definitely had to equip the sheildweaver now though.
I've also decided to squeeze a replay of TLOU in before the sequel hits. I was going to do a new game + run on that too for a couple more trophies but it seems I don't have my original save files. Trying a hard run from fresh then and see how it goes.
I just got Resi VII in the sale as it hit the sweet spot of less than a tenner but I will wait until I've finished those other 2.

It will be cool to see, I still hold a glimmer of hope for a Code Veronica remake. If this is for 2022 maybe 2021? Although Resi 8 is probably more likely in that year.

Hopefully there is a small group planning out the return to the Witcher universe after Cyberpunk, like in reverse 8 years ago. But for now I'm just excited we finally get our hands on it in just a few months time.

I only got 4 and they were all guesses. I obviously played completely different games on my PS1.

While I'm excited for Thursday's reveal it's a shame we won't be getting the live reaction you get from the attending audience. Things like the roar when Kratos emerged from the shadows at E3 or the Firefly sign at PSX. It just adds that something extra to the experience (although only when genuine, not that Bethesda guy). I look forward to seeing what they have come up with.
