A very tough choice between Witcher 4 and Intergalactic. I gave my vote for the latter in the end as it's great to see something new from ND, especially in the Sci-Fi genre.
Another recommendation for Alien Dark Descent from me. I liked Isolation and Fire Team Elite but DD was the best for me. It does a really great job of recreating the atmosphere of Aliens and the constant feeling of being potentially overrun. Turrets are your best friends people.
I've always planned to go back and do an 'evil' playthrough. I imagine they should have this out by the time I get around to it. I look forward to going through this great game again with the new stuff.
GTA 6 is going to help shift a lot of consoles. I think Sony studios are going to start being ready to release their big generational games from next year as well. The PS5 could end up outdoing the PS4, especially if they can find a way to cut product costs.
Thanks for the info, I've been checking most days and had just about given up on it returning and had assumed it was just being phased out as people update the app.
Only the £5 option was back for me but that's cool as it's all I could get for my points. Redeemed quickly in case it goes again.
I don't think I've seen her do enough different roles to say whether this could be good or bad but would not pre-judge.
I just think the IP is well known enough that why not try and discover some new talented young actress to fit the role rather than finding a 'famous' person who might work.
If I were pick from known actresses, I think Kaya Scodelario or Sophie Cookson could be interesting choices.
@Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella says Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was the biggest Call of Duty release ever, setting new day one and opening weekend records as sales on PlayStation and Steam jumped 60 percent compared to 2023's Modern Warfare III. Game Pass also benefited from Call of Duty's release, setting a new record for amount of new subscribers in a single day. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 launch last week saw strong concurrents on Steam that outperformed Modern Warfare II and III.
EDIT: Of course no actual number for the new subscribers
It's strange how much variance there is between what people see in the app. I'm UK using ios and there are no options for any cash off rewards. I've accepted the new conditions and also did an update for the app from the istore and still nothing.
This was one of those games that seeing pictures and descriptions mades me wonder what the fuss was. Then I watched Playstation Access play it on a stream and it made more sense but was surprised you didn't even control the shooting. At that price I took the punt and it's simple, addictive fun.
Using a game that every single PS5 user owns to build hype for the next game has been a genius move. Could be an interesting area for other developers to look into.
I started to watch the video but quickly decided against it. I’m definitely going to play this at some point and would rather not have a moment spoiled. I just make do with reading about it.
Anyone else curious why we are still yet to see more than lots of quick snippets of gameplay (not counting cut-scenes)? Hard to get a proper feel of how it actually plays.
@KayUK I get a similar vibe from it. Some high quality assets that seem very similar to other games stitched together with wonky animations. Time will tell.
3/10 and two of those were guesses 😄. I was 50/50 on the God of War one and picked the wrong one. Also caught out on the AC one as couldn't remember being attacked by elephants but apparently they were there.
Some very specialised knowledge needed on this one.
EDIT: Kudos to the person reading and answering questions at 2 seconds at a time.
@get2sammyb It seems crazy to me that Destiny on it's own generated enough money to pay for that many employees. Were they that large when they left Microsoft? Maybe they got overambitious in expanding the studio.
I voted for Astro, AC Shadows, Dragon Age and Star Wars Outlaws. It was only after submitting my votes that I realised I missed KCD 2 and could no longer vote for it. It could possibly be my most anticipated of the lot as I've only recently tried the first and have now put over 100 hours and still going.
@ShogunRok I did find the character creator under 'demo' in the store. Thanks for the reply. All downloaded and character done. Just a pawn to create then I'll give it a go.
I've yo-yoed with my interest in the game so I'll definitely try a demo. Great tip about the character creator. So there is a separate downloadable for that, from the demo, in the store I take it?
The more that information comes out the more optimistic I become about the game. Still need to be convinced it will be great but I'm hopeful Bioware can pull it off.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft studies which of the characters the player base uses more of to help determine future titles gameplay style. Naoe looks more like the type of AC gameplay I look for.
Was that a different Voice Actor for Solas? It's been a while since I last played Inquisition but it felt different. I haven't formed a solid opinion after watching the gameplay but curious to see/hear more.
This looks really promising. It seems there has been some hands on sessions for some media, Skill Up has a video uploaded with his impressions so bound to be others.
@Shepherd_Tallon @WizzNL I think has contributed to the general feeling of disappointment from showcases nowadays. There is less excitement for a 'reveal' when you know it's coming. I loathe this 'insider', I know things, spoiling of events.
I would love to actually be surprised by something in the show. I miss the days when there weren't 'insiders' who feel the need to show how in the know they are by leaking stuff before the studios get their chance to reveal their games. Half the fun of the big E3 shows was having games appear you had no idea were being made.
@themightyant @AK4tywill They clearly did a poor job of getting a more concise answer out of him if they all they wanted was a quote for marketing. Instead it seems they too much liberty in their ‘editing’ to find an answer they liked.
If you’re going to post an interview why not just transcribe it verbatim. Trying to edit it down and maintain the ‘essence’ of answers just seems a silly way to do something.
Just checked a few minutes ago and thought it still wasn’t working. However noticed where it said game before the price there was a drop down arrow next to ‘Game’. Clicking on that showed a second option of also ‘Game’. Choosing that changed the price to download. A bit of a mess to find but it is there.
Went scouring through my PS4 collection looking for Fallout 4 as I thought I might give the upgrade a go. After going back and forth checking them over I discovered I must have lent it to my brother ages ago and forgot. He lives the other end of the country so it looks like it is going to wait a while. Unless they fix it to work with the Plus Collection version.

Re: The Witcher 4 Announced Starring Ciri
Must admit I really didn't think they were going to go with Ciri as the player character. Great trailer though and will eager to see how it plays out.
Looks like they are going to ignore 2 of the possible endings to 3 though.
Re: Sifu Dev Teases a Surprise for The Game Awards
The Secret Level episode is already out. You can see the whole thing now if you have Prime. It’s very good

Re: The Witcher 4 Hits Huge Dev Milestone, Enters Full Production
This is bizarre! I could of sworn they made this statement about being in 'full production' earlier in the year.
Great news either way.

Re: PS5 Dominates UK Black Ops 6 Sales, As Game Pass Causes Xbox Share to Collapse
Pretty sure IGN had an article today saying

Playstation Access is about to play this game in a few minutes if anyone wants to see it in action.
Re: Ghost of Yotei Is the Ghost of Tsushima Sequel We Needed, Slashing to PS5 in 2025
I'm excited for the new character. Could be a cool touch though to have one of those 'legends' side quests refer to the tale of the Ghost of Tsushima.

Re: PlayStation, Concord to Feature in Amazon Prime's Secret Level
This was the most interesting thing shown today for me.
The only Playstation character I actually caught a glimpse of was Kratos but it was a lot quick cuts.
EDIT: Just rewatched and caught Jin Sakai in there too. Curious how the Playstation episode will work with both characters (and potentially more).

Is this made by someone new or is it a rebrand by the AO Tennis people?
A demo would be super handy for this.

Love the new leaderboard. I got lucky with guesses on questions 3,8 and 10.

Re: Hold Your Horses, Dragon Age: The Veilguard Actually Looks Sick in Gameplay Teaser
The full gameplay reveal is in about 2 and a half hours yes? Had to do some searching and only found US times which I think I’ve converted right.
