If anything Silent Hill related exists this has to be the time to show it. Probably my dream prediction at this point but here’s hoping for SOMETHING horror related. Outside of that I think Naughty Dogs multiplayer game and GOW are pretty much a lock at this point.
Excellent game and the PS4 version on PS5 barely looks any different than the Series X. Still looks and plays great. Dialog is just as funny as the original was 16 years ago too.
I tried this just to see what the hype was about and it’s seriously great fun. I recommend this highly, even for people who play mostly single player games.
Let me throw on my narrator voice real quick: “What if I told you… thousands of people sat by their computers waiting to see a game… that didn’t exist?”
Love Evil Dead and I’ll give this one a try but.. hopes aren’t high. Looks polished enough but the asymmetrical multiplayer games never work out long term. Gotta love those one liners though
Really need to finish the Valhalla platinum but the game is just so bloated. Other than that playing some Huntdown and might give Blair Witch a go since I’m starving for anything horror related.
I thought the game was good enough on PS5 but it chugged HARD at times and crashed relentlessly. Solid story and great voice acting but even bug free it wasn’t as good as wild hunt. Crazy people just hopped back on after the initial mess.
@get2sammyb Totally agree. I can’t see any marketing team putting together some fairly pushed games into a smaller state of play and not folding at least some of these into a larger event. A lot of Sony’s first parties have unloaded in the last 2 years, with studios just getting back to reality in the last few months maybe it’s best to be patient and see what comes next.
I don’t have a lot to say but this much is for sure... Microsoft have not spent the gargantuan amount of money the last two years to be the “other” console. There’s more coming and this mirrors their PC dominance in the 90’s with the if you can’t beat ‘em buy em’ mentality.
I truly don’t think Sony need to worry right now but they need to be prepared to react. We all chuckle about how Xbox basically has nothing for the series X right now but when they do the dam is going to break and it won’t stop flooding again. They are transparent, engaged and desperately want the market segment Sony has carved out in the last 5-7 years. Game Pass is already great and if they see that as a weakness for Sony when these first party games come out, they will make sure it metastasizes quickly.
I’m not worried yet but they definitely need to diversify and buy some more first parties they believe in and find something they think can stand up to game pass. If they can do that and have these studios working on something big now they will be ready to react in 3-4 years when Microsoft starts shooting.
I love that you guys review smaller titles and things that may go unseen on the PSN. I think more of that and the standard you’ve kept up this past year and most of us will be happy.
Thrilled to see KRZ on here. I can’t recommend this enough to anyone who enjoys David Lynch or surreal film in general. This will move you more than any game this year and it’s deeply discounted right now!!

Re: Gallery: New Elden Ring Screenshots Look Simply Sublime
This will be great don’t even need to see more. Something tells me this ends up being the most accessible game they’ve made too.

Re: PS4 Metroidvania Death's Gambit Gets Gigantic Overhaul with Free Afterlife Update
Solid game in the 2D Dark Souls vein. Since this is free I’ll gladly give it another go but this did drag a little towards the end
Re: Lost Judgment Continues to Look Like a Super Sequel in New Gameplay Overview Trailer
Really hoping for some of the characters from like a dragon making cameos here. Even for the Yakuza series that game had a phenomenal cast
