Most of my friends play on PS4, but I do have a few friends who play on Xbox One, so playing Fortnite or other crossplay games would be good fun. I'm not about to try and burn down Sony HQ or anything, but their practice of not allowing crossplay is anti-consumer and I generally disapprove. It might inform my decision on which console to buy next gen though.

This has to be one of the worst takes I've heard about The Last of Us Part II. If the original The Last of Us had any less interaction or player choice, it'd be a movie, and I expect the sequel to be the same.

Considering there's been a Double Dragon V for years now and no Double Dragon IV, I'm glad this one is coming out to fill the gap.

No sense in anyone holding their breath for these remasters, to be honest. It makes more sense to make the investment in the original releases of the games and their respective systems.

I will most certainly not be renewing my PS+ when it expires in November.

I said I would play through the 12 non-MMO main-series Final Fantasy games before XV came out... So far I've finished the first one. So yeah, this delay sounds great!
But in all seriousness I'm always for delays if it will help improve the quality of the game.

Many of my friends chose to purchase an Xbox One rather than a PS4 because they owned 360s in the previous console generation, and Microsoft has many exclusive franchises they enjoy. I didn't have either a PS3 or Xbox 360 last generation, but felt Sony's console would have more games I was interested in, so I purchased a PS4. When you say, "No one cares about cross platform," you're not speaking for everyone. I'm sure plenty of people would love to be able to play games online with their friends who own both platforms.

It seems like the guys Nordic Games are making fun of this remaster trend. But really, I like the names, their different and funny. How many "Remastereds" or "Definitive Editions" do we really need?

I've never liked the PS4's main menu, so hopefully the way it's laid out is changed in some way.

This game's colour palette doesn't seem very different from any other Call of Duty. It mostly seems to be featuring greys, accented by blue and orange, basically the most generic and overused contrast in media today.

Never touched any of the Bioshock games before so if they're decent ports I'd definitely pick them up.

I sure hope they really use this delay to try and make the game look as better than the original versions as possible, without just blowing out the contrast and getting rid of the PS3/X360 versions' distinct dark, de-saturated tone.

What a sad fate for Crash. Hopefully there's something more to this!

Brilliant video talking about all of the game's technical achievements. Shenmue's only fault was simply being ahead of its time. I'll definitely be playing Shenmue and Shenmue II in anticipation for the third one!

Kickstarter truly is a double-edged sword. Sometimes, a great product comes out thanks to your contributions, and sometimes you get swindled.

Can't wait to play 2K16! Always had my eye on that game, now I'll get to see what it's all about.

Has there ever been a known case of a game developer who received death threats actually getting assaulted? Because it seems this type of story gets reported a lot. Do film directors or book writers get sent as many death threats?

I don't believe I'll be renewing my PS+ subscription next year. The free games are never particularly good, the discounts are subpar, and I don't play online often enough to warrant it. I think I'm just going to go with a monthly subscription whenever a game I'm interested in with online multiplayer comes out. Would've prefered if Sony had continued offering free online play to non-PS+ members.

Never played these two so I'm excited to try 'em. Are either Origins or Knight worth playing?

Never understood the love The Last of Us gets. It had a pretty good story, but the gameplay was lacking. The same 3rd person shoulder-shooter that's been around since (and was done better by) Resident Evil 4. It felt too much like a movie.

As someone who's never played Resident Evil 5 or 6, I'll be glad to give them a try on PS4 if/when Capcom releases them physically.

As someone who has friends split across the Xbox One and PS4, this would be fantastic for us. We could have our preferred exclusives while playing, say, the next Grand Theft Auto together.

Hopefully it's only superficially like Uncharted. I haven't played Uncharted, but I did play the Last of Us which is mostly similar to it...? If so, I wouldn't bother with this one. The Last of Us had a terrific story, but it's gameplay was rubbish.

That guy must've felt foolish. But I suppose it's good to be reassured it's coming. The Last of Us has some pretty mediocre gameplay, but if the story of the previous game is continued in a meaningful way, this one will definitely be worth a look.

Oh well, if the price is reasonable, I'll buy it anyways. I prefer physical stuff, and was planning on getting the RE0 remaster anyways.

Playing the remastered remake of Resident Evil this weekend. Totally rekindled my RE obsession. Can't wait for Zero Remastered!

Hopefully Sony can do something clever and get the first two on PS4 for download so I can play them before the third!

Still trying to plow through The Last of Us Remastered before I buy any new games for my PS4. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to play next?
