Another meh month for me personally.
The last good game added for my tastes was Final Fantasy VII Remake back in March and I already owned that.

I disagree with this part and all it shows me is the reviewer went in with the wrong mindset.

Star Ocean is the only reason its poor and not very poor.

I love how some like to pretend we're paying more for Game Pass when in reality I'm paying less than what Now costs.
This is one area Sony are far behind in.

A day before SMT V means its a no from me for now.

I already know this is day one for me seeing as Stardew Valley is probably my favourite Indie game ever.

@Milktastrophe The price Stardew is without a sale is more than worth it imo. I've put hundreds of hours into that game and it even got free updates for years after.

Looks pretty cool but way too many JRPGs on my backlog atm.

Why are some so angry at this?
I don't have PSVR and have zero interest in ever owning one but see no issue with Sony rewarding those that supported it with a nice bonus on top of the regular lineup.

Didn't think Rockstar would be greedy, if only we had some sorta microtransaction filled clue.

Everyone saying they want Persona 6 should really consider checking out Shin Megami Tensei V when it releases in November.
A game from the main series should scratch that itch while you wait for the latest entry in the spin-off series.

I was hoping for FF 16 or something from Atlus seeing as they apparently have 10 games in the works and we only know about two of them, SMT V on Switch and Project RE Fantasy which could end up anywhere.
FF16 is pretty much the only PS5 "exclusive" that's a system seller to my personal tastes.
Everything else looks cool but not "Oh man I need this console now!" cool.

Glad Sammy speaks his mind as always because I agree.
Sony had a good showing but none of this stuff drops for a while, some even years.
Meanwhile I have Metroid Dread, SMT V and Pokemon all before the end of the year on Switch.
All this event has done is confirmed, I don't need a PS5 till 2023 at the earliest.

Can't wait see those that crapped on the Skyward Sword remaster for being $60 praise this $70 remaster if Sony decide to be insane with the price.

Sony are becoming such a greedy company.
I'm not supporting this or any of thier games till the UK gets a price cut to be in line with the US prices anyway.

It's currently £6.99 on the PS Store, maybe I should give it a go.

@Residentsteven Pay more money? Nintendo games are £30 cheaper than PS5 games at retail.
Plus sequel in a long running franchise does not equal same game again.

The only reason this game gor any hype in the first place was it being a PS5 exclusive and someone starting the rumour it's Silent Hill. go

It's the digital version they ordered but with the added benefit of they now have the option to play discs and they got quite a nice discount too, sounds like an upgrade to me.

Timed exclusives annoy me so much, they're literally paying to keep it from one set of fans.

Pretty much everything shown will be on Game Pass, thats huge and Sony should be worried.

This is Sony's problem.

My guess is THPS 3 DLC for 1+2 since this band was in its soundtrack.
The reason I think DLC is because 3 standalone after 1+2 would feel very lacklustre, 3 and 4 have a very different progression system so I can't see those coming together either, leaving only DLC as the likely option.

Seems the "it didn't look that good anyway" comments are already starting😂
I swear some people treat consoles like a football team. You're allowed to like Xbox/Nintendo stuff too guys, Jim Ryan isn't gonna come steal your PS5 Grinch style if you praise another system.

Seeing as the Persona team are currently hard at work on Project RE Fantasy I think P6 is way off.
As for the Worldwide release I hope this means more than Japan/America since Atlus regularly seems to forget about Europe, SMT IV didn't even get a physical release here.

I'm torn on Returnal dropping out the top 10, I really want it to do well but at the same time I hope this happens with all Sony 1st party games till they drop their ridiculous prices here.

2nd is an amazing debut despite the doom and gloom here, remember it's a new IP and a niche genre.
Plus like 20 people could find a PS5 atm compared to the Switch install base.

Day 1 if it was £30 cheaper.

@AhmadSumadi If I was American I legit would not care but cos I'm British that $10 increase is closer to $30 since apparently £70=$70 to SonyUK.
£70=$98 in reality.
We were paying £40-£50 for PS4 games so the new price should be around £55 here for it to be fair.

A £70($98!) rogue-like is still a hard pill to swallow so I'll pass for now with intentions of buying once it's drops to the more reasonable sub £40 mark.
Sony are really at risk of pricing themselves out this gen, for my £70 I chose to get Pokemon Snap and Monster Hunter Rise instead.
It's a shame too cos this looks really good.
