I really hope that despite what they share publicly they have been deeply humbled by the release of Cyberpunk. That game had the potential to be as big as anything else out there besides COD and GTA, but due to their hubris it never will.

Let's see how they handle their next release.

@Mintie I was talking about the perverts. There is nothing imaginative about Persona. It looks like any other anime that I came across when I was a child.

I hate it when developers try to freshen up old cliches and tropes done to death with cosmetic changes.

It reminds me of how Detroit Become Human was basically a cliche simulator about slavery, but with human 'robots' than basically acted and looked exactly like humans. David Cage is such a talentless hack.

@mariomaster96 You do realize that there are 24 hours in a day right? A child gamer will watch videos and hear about the game awards as we are nearing December 8 just like everyone else.

@mariomaster96 Most non casual gamers are children and children have more time than most to watch videos and play games. No adult is excited about Persona or Hogwarts Legacy.

@Mintie Can it beat Harry the Pothead? You just know that all of the children and casuals will be all over that game.

I can't believe that there are people out there that consider the Quarry to be a good game. It's like someone casually mentioning to you that Friday the 13th is their favorite movie series.

@uptownsoul Nah that makes no sense. By the time PS7 is out I will be able to pick up a PS5 for basically free.

@Smiffy01 Sony and Nintendo should try to keep those systems under wraps for as long as possible. It will result in more sales overall.

When I finally buy a PS5 or PS5 pro I am not buying anything extra. Those consoles should be as cheap as possible to be worth it. Especially with PC ports on the horizon.

This reminds me of WW2. The governments allowed Germany(Microsoft) to take too much territory for free and now they have become a danger to world piece looking to avenge the humiliation of WW1(Xbox1).

@KaijuKaiser Quality is subjective. For me AC Valhalla and Horizon Forbidden West belong in the thrash right next to the ***** day 1 GP games.

Also, we don't decide where the industry goes next. Casuals and children do.

Then you will go on youtube to check out a video about the top 10-20 upcoming AAA games and you will notice that same exact strange thing again.

@Flaming_Kaiser There is a huge difference between what they were able to do 15 years ago and now. They can buy Sony and Nintendo(the government won't greenlight the purchase, but still)

@Flaming_Kaiser 'Quality over quantity' has never won any war. People like you and me want AAA games and right now Sony is the only studio of the big 3 that's making them, but we are nowhere near the biggest or most profitable demographic.

Let's see where Microsoft will end up in 12 months. They have the most potential for growth. Unless Sony knocks it out of the park with their live service games.

@Dezzy70 They have a lot of games in production and they bought some of the best studios out there. If anyone can eat up some losses it's Microsoft so let's see where they end up 12 months from now.

This makes me remember the glory days of Halo and Gears of War. What happened to the people in charge of Microsoft's first party output?

@Dezzy70 The cheap price of gamepass and xcloud will do more to attract new gamers than anything Sony and Nintendo can afford to do. Remember that now more than ever you don't need a console or a tv to play games.

Isn't it crazy how all of these big studios expect COD to remain the biggest franchise until the end of time?

What are they looking at and why do they look so serious?

The question is: Will they demand that we install their anti-cheat solution?

@Dezzy70 Microsoft is doing amazing job when it comes to allowing many more millions of people get into gaming. Out of the big 3 only they have the infrastructure and money to do it.

As for their games... they will soon own Activision Blizzard.
