......or shooters gonna shoot. Bioshock really only suffered because it did too good of a job in the beginning. It's hard to mantain "new car smell" magic for 15 hours straight, especially in a FPS.
So like every game in the genre the ramp up the difficulty and intensity toward the end. Otherwise gamers would be complaining it was too easy, longwinded, or pretentious.
Game of the Year for me so far. I can't remember ever feeling a such an overwhelming sense of wonder and awe like I did in the first few hours of the game.
I finished this days ago I still can't stop thinking about it.
The lack of backwards compatibility is going to keep me from buying a PS4 instead of holding back on PS3 games.
There will be no reason to buy a new system right away if I am going to burn through the handful of games I want to play at release only to watch it collect dust for the next year.
Anyone who hasn't played Telltale's - The Walking Dead NEEDS TO PLAY THIS GAME NOW!. Whether you watch the show, read the comic, or not. Brilliant game.
As far as Activision's TWD : Survival Instinct.......the game looks like hot garbage. Here we are on release day and you can't find one review or any hype whatsoever. It's like Activision is trying to delay as long as possible word leaking out about how bad it is so they can milk impulse buyers.
They tweeked the combat enough to make it extremely interesting and satisfying, in my opinion. You really had to strategize and focus to succeed instead of pressing square, square, triangle the whole game. At least on Hard anyway....
These are all things I yelled while jumping out of my seat playing this game. Cinematic isn't even a strong enough word for the things they do with the camera.......its just masterful.

Re: Sleep Soundly with BioShock Infinite Songbird Plushie
The fact that they put Songbird plushies in the game games makes me actually want one.
That subliminal marketing! D:
Re: EA Enters Hyperdrive with Exclusive Rights to the Star Wars Franchise
As long as I can decapitate JarJar with a lightsaber or blast a Ewok in their ugly smashed up faces I'm cool with this.

Re: Talking Point: Do We Really Need So Much Gunplay in Games?
You can't beat a dog for wagging his tail.

Damn, if this isn't on the PS3 too then I might just have to buy me a PS4 at launch.

Re: God of War: Ascension's 'Trial of Archimedes' Will No Longer Make You Curse
Pathetic. Lord forbid you actually have to have skill to complete a game.
Re: American McGee Is Disappointed with the PlayStation 4
Touch screen and motion control are so gimicky and unnecessary.
If it ain't broke.....
Re: So, WayForward's Totally Working on a DuckTales Remake
All my love. Day one purchase.
Re: Talking Point: Is Time Gaming's Greatest Handicap?
This article hits home so hard. I have over 100 games unfinished and a nice stack of factory sealed games.
I just don't have enough time. I had a week off work over the holidays and literally played 85 hours worth of video games.

Solid review.
Also surprised you scored so low. Personally I would have scored this a 6.0001/10 but that's just my opinion.

Perfect PS+ game. Always been interested in it but never could talk myself into spending money on it.
Re: God of War: Ascension's Sales Murdered By Previous Entry
I loved this game.
