After many many (many) hours playing Origins and Odyssey, I'm all in for some Viking adventures.

Very dubious this film will turn out good but you never know, there is always hope. However, although Tom Holland as young Drake I can go with, Walhberg as Sully is a big NO from me. Big NO NO NO just to emphasize.

I'll be waiting until the PS5 hopefully arrives on the 19th, experience all the rays being traced and immersive haptics from the start.

Really enjoyed Origins and Odyssey, thought they both had good post launch support and content. So, as this looks similar but with Vikings I'll probably go for the Gold Edition. Has Ubi confirmed any where if the saves transfer from PS4 to PS5?

Bethesda games will still come to PS4/PS5, that's a lot of money for Bethesda/MS to throw away if they don't. The difference will be £70 on PS5 or part of Gamepass on Xbox/PC/Andriod. Ultimately MS just want people to subscribe to GP. They also announced 15 million subscribe to GP, roughly £10 a month means that's £150m a month to MS. Kerching!

My wife is going to love a giant curly white glowing tower of Mordor next to the TV. Please let it quiet, the PS4 Pro is so loud, like its trying to achieve orbit when stressed.

Pre-ordered for launch day from Simply where I registered interest a while ago, only had bundles but one of them matched exactly what I wanted so all good. Have now booked the day off work to sit in the window waiting for the courier.

Could be a hype teaser but wouldn't expect much else

Gameplay demo of Miles Morales, update on Horizon, look at how PS4 games like Ghost run on PS5, teaser for upcoming games (GOW 2, uncharted from new studio?). Obviously release date, price and then a surprise at the end! Not too much to ask for...

Xbox has given them a deadline, they have to reveal something before the 22nd or they will lose sales. You've got to assume next week things will start happening.

Also, to carry on my cynicism, no way is Miles Morales £29.99. Concrete Genie for comparison is £24.99 on psn store. Think next gen spider man with all the bells and whistles will be £5 more? No chance. £39.99 minimum.

I would be amazed if the console costs £349/£449. Add £100 to each seems more likely. Most of the prices seem too low, the amount they have been banging on about the power and expensive components. Dualsense for £54.99 with all its haptics and immersions sensors, nah can't see it being less than £70.

You'd assume mid September pre-order for mid-November release at about £500, seems plausible?

I'm quite interested in seeing how upgraded first party games will look on PS5, you'd think Sucker Punch will release an update for GoT as an example to add some traced rays or run at 60fps?

I feel like my two wins will not earn this reward

More characters than a brand but surely DC or Marvel would be looking at this? Bat Fall Guy? Hulk Fall Guy? Although Spider Fall Guy would have to be PlayStation exclusive obviously.

Maybe this supernatural element could form part of a future single player standalone expansion on PS5, Sucker Punch have done something similar previously (First Light, Festival of Blood).

I'm really enjoying GoT, currently in Act 2, my personal game of the year so far. Not much of a multiplayer person usually (Fall Guys is the rare exception) but you can't really complain about having extra free stuff added to the game. Although its surprising there are no micro transactions, seems like the perfect excuse to sell some shiny hats.

Personally I liked Arkham Origins a lot and would like a PS4 (5?) remaster. But assuming this is a new Batman game involving the court of owls I hope WB Montreal have changed the graphical style, Arkham games are great but that big chunky muscle style should be updated to something cooler and sleeker looking. This applies to the Rocksteady Suicide Squad game as well.

August and still no info on PS5 price and release date, you'd think they would want to start racking up the pre-orders.

My prediction, its going to have a big chunk of COD.

And Avengers as the PS4 pre-order beta starts day after.

No idea on the JRPGs

After watching this I now think the game looks quite decent, will definitely give the Beta a ago. On the costumes, without being overly cynical if they make the default Hawkeye look good why would you then want to purchase the better and more varied alternatives?

I'm really enjoying Ghost, they aren't the same but gives me similar feels to Spider Man. A lot of fun to play and explore, enjoyable combat, overall good package. Look forward to see how this looks and plays on PS5 assuming we get an upgrade not just back compatibility.

As its compulsory to talk about Part 2 in every article/comment, I've completed the story and thought it was great. Bring on Part 3 although I'd prefer ND to do something else first, not Uncharted or TLOU, something new.

I'll definitely be interested in having a try of the open beta, see how it plays. Tend to buy one game a month max and more tempted by the Amalur remake in September at the moment.

Enjoyed the original a lot on 360, would be nice to see what the actual re-master looks like. If this is upgraded to PS5 will it be a re-re-reckoning?

Watch Dogs 2 is one of those I've been meaning to get to one day so will definitely have a look at that.

I'd assume the leaks mentioned above are from previews to be published during the Ubi event on Sunday.

Hey all, I'm quite slow getting through games due to work and children commitments. Currently about 12 hours in and Ellie is heading towards a hospital, game is great so far! At this stage I don't get what all the fuss is about, unless something is about to happen that needs me to post furious things online but seems unlikely.

Not usually one for remasters but this would be an exception, really enjoyed Amalur, definite purchase unless its some kind of Mafia 2 mess up.

Faster, Baby DLC still showing as £11.99 for me at the moment. Mafia III is on my back log to play after receiving through plus so now even more 'free' stuff to do in something I've not started yet. Can't be bad.

When is all of this mafia news actually going to be officially announced? Is there an expected time today?

Tempting, would be surprised if Mafia 3 had any upgrades, was already enhanced for Pro wasn't it? Probably game and season pass. But getting this and a remake of Mafia 1 and 2 for around £50 is pretty good value.

Geoff is clearly hinting toward either a remake or a sequel to Cool Spot, the hit nineties platformer.

Didn't Ubi start a subscription service on PC similar to EA Access. Thought if successful would come to PS/Xbox at some point.

This is quite interesting, twitter reply from Geoff after the announcement when asked about what led to the decision:

Listen to Sacred Symbols and will purchase this on release. Last breaker game I recall was shatter which was pretty decent.

PS4 and PS4 Pro both launched at £399 I believe, so that will be the minimum. And this talk of the premium power and performance makes we think around £449 a realistic price. Unless they go full on '$599 Dollars, get a second job to buy one' Sony.

When the family are asleep I quite often sit on my own in the dark playing somewhat depressing games so this is quite accurate.

Wasn't full PS4 compatibility confirmed, its just the older consoles that are in question? Anyway seems likely that Cyberpunk will work on PS5 just without using the extra power, this will come later via patch or (perhaps) a payable upgrade?

With the PS4 selling over 100 million, Sony know that when they start dropping PS5 news bombs the worlds media will report on it. In fact Sony won't go to E3 and the PS5 will still probably be the most talked about console. Same as PS4 was last year.

Third party will 100% have PS5 games at E3 so Sony will have some kind of event or stream before then. PS4 reveal event was Feb 2013. First teased end of Jan 2013.
