Big meh from me. Already played a Plague's Tail and zero interest in the other two. But that's how it goes. Previous months have been pretty good for me, so no biggie.

Solid enough and polished as a expected from a R&C game. I found a lot of the weapons disappointing and samey in comparison to previous games. Even the Ryno was a bit meh.

Reading the latest blurb from EA the deluxe edition has pitcoin currency... I'm reserving judgement until we hear more, but EA being EA I've gone from very interested to cautious.

Having not played this on PS4 I had to check what version I had downloaded. Doesn't look very spangly and so far I'm not sure I've noticed anything beyond the odd rumble from the controller.

"Build your team". So is this SP or MP?

I'm not even going to bother. My life is busy enough without having to be restricted in this way. Awful idea for anyone with jobs, non gaming partners or kids. Thanks for nothing Capcom.

I'm amazed at the rave reviews now I'm finally playing the game. With no nostalgia to fall back on, I have to agree with most of the points.

The characters are annoying. Gameplay is ok, but there's a lot of doing nothing but walking about aimlessly. Textures can be awful quality on occasion. It's not a good game. Puzzles if you can call them that are dull.

The bit with Don Cornflakes or whatever his name is, is cringey and even if that's in the original game (I can only assume it is) is just too rapey for me.

I'm going to finish it just because I feel I should, but as a fan of JRPGs that somehow missed this first time around this is disappointing and if it didn't have the name would not have been so well received. Terrible, dull, clunky.

@Vladspartan thanks problem with planning to play with people is I can't guarantee when I'll get around to playing it and even then with family life it's not straightforward. Will give it a go with randoms. Thanks for the offer.

Anyone know of the Zombie Army game can be played coop with randoms or do you have to join up with people on your FL?

Final Fantasy VIII remake and Marquette. Win win. Already played Farpoint, it's....ok. Not interested in the other game. Overall it's a very good month of PS+

Shame there's no special edition with a statue etc. Never interested in those for most games, but would throw hard cash at a R&C one.

I downloaded it, saw there was a bit of a mixed feeling about it edging towards negative so deleted it. That said I'm more a SP game with the odd dabble online, so not the target audience.

I had that on my account and on one of my kids.

Does the save from the original version of HZD work with the complete version? I'd assume so, but then again it's Sony...

No PS5 bought yet for me. But as soon as R&C gets a firm date then I'll be there.

I went with good. Games wise, it looks ok long term, but not clear what we are getting at launch (not much it seems). But saved by the PS+ Collection and that price point. Game on for next gen - Sony ain'y messing that's for sure.

Higher res and better controllers and tracking and I'm in for PSVR 2. Especially if it works with Beat Saber.

Rubbish month for me. Not interested in either. Was thinking of getting PSNow, but seeing the comments not going to bother.

But I'm still playing Fall Guys from last month so it's all ok. You can't 'win' every month 😁

Weird idea, but sounds very intriging. Look a good FMV game. Always a good change of pace from other types of games.

Probably the digital version, but price difference will be key. £50 is the tipping point anything over that probably seals the deal.

I tend to play few big games on release. Obviously at launch this will be a bit different, but most of my purchases for the last 3-4 years have been digital in sales.

Again if the digital pricing is out of whack that could push me back to a typical physical machine, but I saw that TLoU2 was only £5 more than the disc version. So I'm hoping perhaps naively that the stupid price difference of digital > physical may be at a turning point.

Too early to tell completely, but the all digital approach is tempting.

Looks fun, but as always with these types of games the real question(s) will be how much and how repetitive does it get and how fast?

But if priced right, looks like a good game to enjoy with the family.

My backlog is too big to think about replaying games also I kinda like to play a game, get as much out of it and then move on. The only exception would be a remaster of a game I loved - TLoU, Ratchet and Clank(s), Skyrim, GTA V, Ico.

I keep hovering over the buy icon every time Skyrim VR is on offer so I can play it again. Like I need 100+ hours in a headset

@MarcG420 I'm fine if it's on the list and fine if not. Got the platinum for it, so can recommend it for anyone who's not played it. Just fed up with the spammy articles on unfounded rumours (last month it was from some totally random source - zero credibility, but still reported on). That's more what annoys me. This site does some really good work, but also has click baity stuff. It's a real shame, the tabloid BS overshadows the quality sometimes.

Are we still bitching about last month? Really? You can't guarantee every month will suit everyone or that you'll have not already got the game. How do people and websites still don't get how this works?

It's certainly hard to get right - how many E3 or similar press conferences had really wooden execs on stage? I love the whole E3 experience, it's like a gamer's Christmas, but some of them have been really cringey - big celebs on stage "hi I really love playing X when chilling away from filming" - uck, fake fake fake a lot of the time.

Love the Silent Hill games and love Kojima. But after Death Stranding anything that gives him "full control" is a pass from me. He needs someone to restrain and shape his ideas. Maybe not a popular opinion on here, but sometimes freedom needs to be focused a little.

The alleged difficulty puts me off, but more because I'm time poor. Not sure I have the time to devote to learning the levels and getting to grips with the systems. I've downloaded it, whether I get around to playing it is another matter.

Oh yeah and Keep talking and nobody explodes... Stressful but amazing fun. Would love to see more of this type of asymmetric gameplay for VR.

My wife and daughter both love Overcooked. As the "hardcore" gamer I find it really stressful!

Diablo III is great kick back and chill with my wife.

One not in the list is The Witness. We've had a great time slowly working out the puzzles together. Some audio related ones I couldn't do, but we're easy for the Mrs.

And GTA V is still in the charts. Unbelievable.

Name change isn't due to Sony caring or not. Something to do with how they built the PSN and the data behind the accounts. Has been documented and commented on a few times now. If they could they would.

The problem I have with this is that 99% of LBP user content isn't very good. Even with time, planning and taking it seriously most users (myself included) don't have the skill or talent to create something that looks or plays good.

Fair play to Sony for backing this. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised, but my expectations are set to impressive technically, but otherwise lacking.

Played Abzu already (it's ok) but as I'm on the European side of the Atlantic... Alienation was on my "buy sometime" list and the Borderlands game will be a fun quick platinum. All good for me.
