So as I'm on Premium and want to downgrade I'm stuffed. Thanks PlayStation. I've just checked and all I have is an option to resubscribe at the full price for premium or wait for it to expire and pay full whack on Extra.
Just got the platinum on for the PS4 version. Nice little game, very buggy. Could play for hours then sometimes would crash on launching from child start. Odd. But had a good auto Dave so never lost any progress.
Poll is a bit biased. I'm not interested, but I don't consider it as a waste of resources. It'll not be teaching up a huge amount and it's their choice. Will sell pretty well I imagine regardless of the outrage online.
The only thing I'd really want is BeatSaber to be on PSVR2, which it will and my dlc to carry over. If be happy to pay a reasonable upgrade fee too have that game with better control.
I have premium due to jumping on a PS Now cheap deal in addition to the old PS+. So far Premium is a disappointment. Yes it may build and get better, but this is a service people are paying for now. Typical bodged launch by Sony. Extra is great value however, but 5 point is the top tier is tested like an afterthought. Wooo 35 min demos and no new games. Rubbish.
Not a terrible selection, but nothing for me. Some already been on lower tier of PS+ so a kick for long term subscribers and nothing for the premium tier? Overall needs to do better.
So yes to folders. But they aren't on the home screen. It's not in your installed games library. It's party of your overall collection, for me hidden away and having to hunt through 500 games to find the ones I want to add. Pretty much useless for me.
From the new additions there's probably only Stray that is of interest. But a good list of additions even if it's slim pickings for me. Premium needs to up it's game quite a bit. Maybe in a year with more drip fed in it'd be worth it, but pretty poor so far.
Good selection, I was hoping that with the merger of Plus and Now the double dipping across tiers would end. But I guess too much cost/effort for Sony.
Oh yeah and Motorstorm. Streaming yes, but will love to try that out again. Such a great series! Split/second I missed out on that first time around, was looking online for a copy. But now it's just there.
It's pretty good for me as a long term PS+ subscriber and having recently got PS Now at 50% off. Loads of games in there for me, maybe 20 that I'll play or at least try. If the content added is reasonable I'll stick with PS+++. The catalogue seems messy though. I've been through a couple of times to browse then I read that a certain game is on the service. Did I miss it or was it hidden in some way? Needs more and better quality PSP, PS1, 2&3 games especially in Europe. Maybe an option to search by platform to help find older gems? But so far an improvement for me.
Quite a bit of my wishlist is on sale, but with PS+++ arriving tomorrow I'm waiting on Returnal and anything else in there before I buy anything else for a while.
Looks beautiful, but honestly platforming is poor at times, riding on a mount and getting stuck on the slightest slope or terrain. Getting attacked and having to spend dodge, jump anything at I can't see for to scenery blocking everything.
Seriously not a 10 for me by a big margin. Missions etc are good and like the scope of side quests and collectables. But some gameplay improvements needed to basic functions.
Bought the PS4 disc for just over £50. Upgraded to PS5. Everyone I start up the PS5 it starts to try and install the PS4 version. Delete icon and repeat/rinse. I wish I'd paid the extra £10 I can afford it and my OCD would be better.
Point is Sony dropped the upgrade fee for the hard core that visit and complain on gaming sites not for the Joe public everyday consumer. But their upgrade path is awful, clunky and from what I hear from Xboxland vastly inferior.
Planet Coaster is a good game (already got it), UFC not my thing but seems to have reviewed ok and is less than 2 years old, so looking good even if nothing new to me, but the crap around Tiny Tina (dlc and the full version had been on ps+ before) and the gate keeping of PS5 versions Vs cross gen is just crap. Must do better.
I've got the Roller coaster game, not interested in sports or fighting games, but the Tiny Tina is a dlc standalone spin off? That's pretty cheap Vs PS+ of old. Each month there's some caveat or oddity, like when we got the 'special' version of Godfall.
So I buy the cheaper PS4 version physically and then upgrade for free to post the full fat PS5 version. That's dumb. So many people are going to over pay without knowing.
Come on, this is a dumb poll it depends on the game. Skyrim is a game I've sunk over a hundred hours multiple times. But then there's smaller shorter games (Cat Quest, Journey). There are games that go on too long (Ghost of Tsushima and many open world games). There is no ideal size for a game.
I didn't think it was that outstanding tbh. Certainly not as good as previous RE games let alone the best overall game for the last year. Still, you know what they say about opinions...
6 games for me from Jan to Oct. Not great. Some good games I've already played as well. For the first time since launch I am questioning if PS+ is worth it for me. It's always been up and down and you have to take the gift months and the 'bad' months as a while, but not looking the best value for me for some time now.
I tried the demo earlier today. Was hoping it's be good, but found it quite boring. It may get better, but if I can't be bothered to play the demo you're not selling me on the full game. Shame as I wanted to like this.
Does the SSD allow fast loading of levels? Yes. See the PS5 Ghost of Tsushima video of fast travel. Is this guy right that R&C Rift Apart may use the SSD but technically it could be done by other clever means? Yes. He's got a point. It's used as a gimmick in R&C but overall it's not like it's actually adding anything. So back off internet reaction force. The man's not slamming on R&C, he's calmly making a technical point.
I had a recurring issue with the sound going really weird when using the official PS5 headset. That stopped with the last patch when they removed the 3D support. Hopefully all fixed now.

75% reduction on Cities Skylines Remastered, after what a couple of weeks from launch? Ouch!

Ah shame I was interested up until couch co-op sounding like an afterthought.

I've neglected most of the games I bought for PSVR2 because of GT7. It's so good.
Re: Site News: Our Plan for PSVR2 Reviews Through Launch and Beyond
Love to see Cities Skylines reviewed if possible.
Re: PSVR2's Packaging Doubles as a Handy Storage Box
I mean it's good, but my PSVR is kept nicely in the original box as well. Other than the cables being messy it works really well.

Free upgrade to a game I lost my life to? I think that's a good thing 🙂😂

Re: Rhythm Game Drums Rock Crashes PSVR2 Launch Lineup
So not the official version of the songs, but covers? That's a shame.
Also other than a handful of big songs it looks like the rest I've never heard of.

Interesting. Shame it's not mandatory, but understandable given the age of some of the games. I don't get why Sony hasn't mentioned this until now.

Now a full day with no game. To make it worse zero comms from the developer since the initial we have a problem statement.
