Re: Wake Meets Sam Lake in Surreal IGN First Alan Wake 2 Gameplay Clip

@GamingFan4Lyf That would be the best case scenario in my opinion. Max Payne definitely needs a little more love. But who knows, it doesn't sound too farfetched. I also feel like you normally see these remasters and remakes in conjunction with an upcoming new title in the series.

I really need to finish Control though. At the very least I owe it to my mom, because I figured out recently that the main protagonist in Control was a prominent character on her soap opera.

@Pixipantalon I did hear about the perspective switch during development, which is still mind boggling to me. It may be an unpopular opinion, but nothing about CP2077 screams first person to me. It's so much less immersive and more restrictive not being able to see the world around my customized character, not having cutscenes with my character in them, etc. SPOILERS: I was floored when I saw the only real cutscene in the entire game before the end credits. It looked so awesome.

Absolutely agreed on everything else. I can't imagine why it wasn't an option to switch between perspectives, or even just force first person perspective for conversations like Fallout or Starfield.

Here's to hoping that with the new engine and all the newfound knowledge CDPR has, they'll be able to provide more features like third person mode in the sequel.
