Re: PlayStation Boss Jim Ryan Says You Should Expect More Acquisitions

QBGaming12

@Porco I think when it comes to Sega the main thing Sony sees is Persona and Yakuza and that would make it well worth it for them. Sonic is huge as well(but the games haven't been good recently). It would be awesome to see the Phantom Thieves announce Playstation buying them.

Square makes the biggest sense because of Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Forspoken even.

Capcom would be huge because of Resident Evil and Devil May Cry which are basically synonymous with Playstation.

I think they acquire Square or Sega first, and then Capcom down the line if they ever want to be purchased.

Bungie does make sense because they are working on a new IP and at least Sony is giving them the freedom to decide what platforms to put their games on(for now). People crap on Destiny but it is one of the biggest and best shooters out their(from what people say). If their new IP is exclusive to Playstation and PC, and eventually gets put on Xbox then it's a good acquisition.

Re: PlayStation Boss Jim Ryan Says You Should Expect More Acquisitions

QBGaming12

@TheCollector316 I wouldn't be surprised if Sony is already talking to Sega and Square, especially Square because their is a lot of history their as we all know. I only want Sega because of Atlus to be under the Playstation umbrella. Square just makes perfect sense in the long run.

I do understand that people don't like the mega corporations but it's just stuff that happens. Also Sony might still let the companies they acquire let their games be multi-platform just maybe timed.

I would really like Sony to finally Square or Sega. Or Both. Square is the bigger get.

Re: Reaction: We Need to Talk About Tiny Tina on PS Plus

QBGaming12

It's not a big deal at all. They gave out the Handsome Collection almost 3 years ago. Gearbox just recently released Tiny Tina's DLC as a standalone thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gearbox wanted to put it out on PS Plus with Tiny Tina's game coming out in a month.

I don't get why anybody is complaining about this. It's the best DLC in Borderlands 2, and if you didn't get the collection on PS Plus 3 years ago or haven't played Borderlands 2 then you have never played it. You get the game as a standalone thing for free. That sounds like a good deal to me.

Just enjoy the good DLC and get ready to enjoy Tiny Tina's game which I hope they let you finally play as her in. Which for some reason Gearbox keeps holding back on that.

Re: PS Plus February 2022 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

QBGaming12

I mean I'm not surprised about Tiny Tina with her game literally coming out in March. Also that DLC is probably the best Borderlands DLC ever so if you haven't played it you should(especially with the interesting story beats in it). So people should play it.

I've always wanted to play UFC 4 but never wanted to pay for it.

Also Planet Coaster is probably really fun if you have the time to play it. So I might it give it a shot.

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard

QBGaming12

I don't see how this isn't close to having a Monopoly on the gaming industry. I also don't see how Microsoft can be allowed to buy both Bethesda and Activision.

The only thing Sony could do to even compete against that would be to buy Square Enix and that's nowhere near as big but has good studios. I also wish Sony would somehow get Atlus.

In the end Microsoft talks about getting games to everyone but when you buy 2 companies of that size that's just shutting out millions of gamers. Even if they have money to burn by putting those games all on gamepass and not on Playstation. Doesn't seem like they should be able to do this.

Re: Feature: 15 PS5, PS4 Predictions for 2022

QBGaming12

I fully believe that Insomniac is working on a Rivet game and I can't wait to see them give her a unique moveset.

I like all of the predictions but I don't think any of the those games will be on PC for any least 1-2 years.

I hope the next Astro game is playable in both VR and on console so that more people can play it because Astro is amazing.

I also want Bioware to remaster Dragon Age Origins, Awakening and Dragon Age 2 in a similar fashion to Mass Effect. I mean that's money easy so I hope EA has them or someone working on that.

Factions will probably release in the summer after Forspoken, or in September before God of War. Returnal might get a expansion or we could hear about Housemarque's project.

Sony is going to have a big year and some big announcements. People just have to be patient.

Re: Raw Forspoken Gameplay Features Combat, Menus

QBGaming12

People do realize this game comes out at the end of May 2022 right? The framerate I'm sure will be fixed.

I'm worried about the open world being a bit barren but with 6 months left they obviously can add more stuff into the world by then.

The combat in the game looks awesome and Frey looks like she will be a good character(I do hope they fix the audio issues with her voice, unless that's just how the trailers are going to be).

People just need to be patient, I also assume this game will be part of a State of Play before it comes out. It kind of has to be.

Re: Talking Point: Did The Game Awards 2021 Live Up to the Hype?

QBGaming12

Can we get some love for Tchia in the comments at least. That game looks better and better everytime they show it and I hope it will be amazing. Sony is really pushing that game.

Horizon looked good, they were basically showing off the different locales, costumes, and enemies in the trailer. They just made it seem like Ratchet and Clank to show the different zones.

Re: Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires Demo Is Incoming

QBGaming12

@AndyKazama Warrior's Orochi 4 was terrible lol, WOU3 Ultimate eas the best Orochi game. I do get what you mean though because it was the last game with old school combat.

If you watch gameplay videos it still has the flow combat but the 4 buttons are at the bottom of the screen(smaller) instead of taking up half the screen like they did in DW9 lol.

Re: BioWare Is 'Still Hard at Work' Making Dragon Age 4

QBGaming12

They have to get Dragon Age 4 right. I mean the setup for it after the excellent game that was Dragon Age Inquisition sets 4 up as an epic adventure, in Tevinter hopefully. Solar will be the big bad, and I hope they bring back Leliana and Sara and others who have been around through the whole thing.

It is my most anticipated game even though it's years away.

I also just wish EA would let them do a remaster for Dragon Age Orgins, the expansion Awakening, and Dragon Age 2 for Next Gen/Last Gen. I mean the Mass Effect Trilogy did great and I know Dragon Age would sell well. It makes all the sense in the world.

Re: Godfall's PS Plus Version Is All Endgame Content, No Story Campaign

QBGaming12

@Medic_Alert a PS5 launch game that bombed bad, and it's been a year. That's a PS5 PS Plus game.

Also with Mortal Shell they might let you upgrade it for free, considering the game already had a free Next Gen upgrade.

Also I don't feel like I'm getting nickel and dimed with PS Plus because most of the games I either own or were going to wait for a deep sale. I'll give all 3 of these games a shot one day. After I finish playing a ton of other stuff.

Godfall is surprising considering that all of the updates were free.

Re: Godfall's PS Plus Version Is All Endgame Content, No Story Campaign

QBGaming12

@Medic_Alert Godfall was always going to be a PS Plus game so you were going to get it sooner than later. I don't see why your getting heated a bit over it. Sony could still make them change their mind but it's still Godfall.

You can either play Godfall or not. Plus you get Mortal Shell which has a free PS5 upgrade. That and Lego are that main attractions.

Re: Godfall's PS Plus Version Is All Endgame Content, No Story Campaign

QBGaming12

@Medic_Alert what I'm saying is Sony probably didn't want to pay the extra price to get the normal Godfall game or either Counterplay and Gearbox weren't going to do it.

With Godfall being as bad as it is, it doesn't really matter which version you get. I mean Counterplay knows the Campaign was trash so they want you to skip it, even if it's a odd choice.

The only other games I would have wanted Sony to replace it with would have been The Pathless or Solar Ash, with The Pathless probably being one sooner than later.

I don't see how people could get that mad given that nobody really was going to pay for Godfall anyways. You get a free version of it, free.

Re: Godfall's PS Plus Version Is All Endgame Content, No Story Campaign

QBGaming12

To all the people complaining that Sony is part of this decision, to me it sounds like Counterplay Games didn't want to give away their full game for free. Sony would probably have to pay them to do that. So I think it's all on Counterplay and maybe even Gearbox as well.

I mean Sony tried to promote this game and help them out, they just didn't have good trailers or good hype.

Re: Would You Kindly Read This Rumour About BioShock Isolation?

QBGaming12

Bioshock 1 in my opinion is one of the greatest games of all time(I mean Big Daddy's are awesome). Bioshock 2 wasn't great but the Big Sisters were great(Especially when you get to summon your own personal one). Bioshock Infinite was cool and had a interesting story, I'd probably have to play it again to actually enjoy it because I played it once and never looked back.

But it's about time we get a new game, I mean a launch trailer with a big daddy or little sister in it would be huge in the video game world, even if it's in a whole new environment.

Re: Big PS Store Indie Sale Includes 1,200 PS5, PS4 Game Deals

QBGaming12

Cris Tales and Spiritfarer have never been that low so I might have to make the jump on them finally.

This is basically the Black Friday Indie sale for Sony which is nice.

I'm hoping next week they put Kena, Returnal and some other exclusives on decent discount. Guardians, Deathloop, Far Cry, all of the sports games, and Tales/Scarlett Nexus are going to be $25-$35. Village will be $20.

Re: Five Nights at Freddy's the Most Viewed Trailer from State of Play

QBGaming12

@RBMango they said it would be third party games, and people complaining about the games shown have to think whether they had to promote them. They obviously have a media deal for the FNAF game and Little Devil Inside. Star Ocean is kind of a big deal(for fans of that game), and King of Fighters deserves the beta announcement in a trailer since people have been waiting for that game for years.

Re: Five Nights at Feddy's the Most Viewed Trailer from State of Play

QBGaming12

I mean I think it was a good show for them to show third party games that I feel like they had to promote.

Little Devil Inside is going to be be great, FNAF is going to sell no matter what.

Star Ocean is Star ocean lol. and Death's Door is amazng supposedly.

I don't see what the problem is? Sony didn't say anything big was going to be there, and when they announced a in depth look at Little Devil Inside, people should have known what to expect.

Re: The Uncharted Movie Trailer Is Finally Here

QBGaming12

The trailer looks pretty good, also Sony does love Tom Holland(and most people do, I'm a fan as well). If they have another movie I'm sure he won't seem as innocent especially if they actually add Elena and Chloe. Mark Wahlberg will probably have a mustache by the end of the movie lol.

Morbius and Uncharted to start off the year is pretty big for Sony.

Re: Sony: The Pipeline of Games for PS5 Is Just Fantastic

QBGaming12

Sony has had a good first year for the PS5(almost a full year). I expect some good PS Plus games for the 1 year celebration. Also let's give props to Herman Hulst. The man has been working his ass off for Sony. I ultimately think he will have Jim Ryan's job down the line.

He's the one guy when I watch people react to Sony's streams everybody is like "Oh hey Herman, or it's Herman!".

I am excited for 2022, and the Hidden Gems that could be and I am referencing Sifu and Forspoken.

Re: Uncharted's Amy Hennig, Gary Whitta Are Writing PS5's Forspoken

QBGaming12

What was the problem with the dialogue? The fact that Frey actually acts how someone would if they were actually transported to a new world and suddenly got cool powers?

It was actually good and a new take then the same old character we always get in these type of games. Don't see why people are complaining.

I wonder if Gary will eventually talk about it on Kinda Funny lol.

Re: Talking Point: Did PlayStation Showcase 2021 Deliver on the Hype?

QBGaming12

Every game was great that they showed expect for Deathloop.

Project Eve looked amazing, Forspoken looked great.

I will play Tiny Tina because Tina can be fun sometimes, although I hope she's playable.

Ghostwire and Rainbox six looked great.

The worst part of the show was Deathloop by far, even though we got more news about the main character. Alan Wake also didn't look that good.

Blood Hunt looked alright.

Tchia is going to be a surprise hit because that game looks adorable.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West Will Now Offer Free PS4 to PS5 Upgrade, Sony Confirms

QBGaming12

People got what they want. I don't know why people complained in the first place about the upgrade cost because if the difference between the two games is extremely different then paying more than $10 makes sense.

Sony just trying to make back some of those development costs makes sense. $10 is nice but eventually people are going to have to pay more for upgrades. Eventually.
