Another one of weird, absurd PlayStation commercials. LOVE IT
@Shstrick Weird commercials are not pointless. It gets way more attention by public than the “normal” ones.
I'm curious about the DualSense aspect of the game. Probably will wait for the PS5 version just to enjoy the game with some lovely haptics. Maybe when playing as a granny the triggers will get stiff and I'll be able to feel her knees and joints creaking! <3
@God_of_Nowt My TV has optical, but there's noticable lag when used for PS4. No coaxial unfortunately. We shall see about the splitter, dedicated with no-latency for PS5 should be released ($60). Others on the market have latency or do not passthrough all the nice stuff from PS5 (4k, 120Hz,..). T
The Jet noise is terrible indeed. Fortunately quick clean and new thermal pase reduces it for at least 6 months, otherwise I'd kill myself from that rampage
@InsertUsername @knowles2 I’m familiar only with the situation of game retails in Czechia. At least there Sony was pushing to keep preorder open, even though the allocations are quite low. It’s quite a headache.
I remember when I played demo of Robinson VR at Gamescom and one of the Crytek developers told me that graphics are going to be much enhanced before the final release.
I'm still waiting..
@Brydontk Don't wanna sound too quirky, but I LOVE boxes and manuals of my new electronic devices. Have to ready every word on the box before opening it hahaha. I need to know every last piece of information possible
Box mockup would be great! Wondering about the design.
@AlexSora89 You're right, there's no appeal of 1st person Crash. Moss, Astrobot, Lucky's Tale, etc. are 3rd person games in VR and it's really great. Check some gameplays. And it's not solely about 3D poppin. Just imagine Super Mario 3D Land VR, but instead of looking inside the game through 3DS, you are behind the screen, with similiar camera movement. It's simple but quite effective, just gets you into the world of the game.
When you have the chance, try Astrobot PSVR demo - as a Nintendo gamer you will love it
@roe Exactly, it was obvious since the first second that the quality is not what we're used to from GoT trailers. Right after the livestream I re-watched already uploaded 4K version and gosh what a difference. I must say Sony's 4K uploads quality is very good, giving a great resemblance of how the game will run on PS4 Pro.
@get2sammyb Could PushSquare emphasize to readers rewatching 4K recordings on their 4K displays if available so we can have a richer discussion about the PS5 reveal afterwards? Same goes for the debate about 3D audio if there's one about to be used by Sony in the reveal. Or perhaps a seperate article highlighting both.
State of Play, E3, etc. the livestream quality always sucks. 1080p was always a standard. 4K videos will be available after the stream is done, as before.
To make a point - State of Play Ghost of Tsushima was "pre-recorded" alas just a simple video and was streamed in 1080p with 4k recording available afterwards. NOBODY had a problem with that.
I agree - they could just release the 4k video right from the start, but I suppose that would strip them of the privilige of conducting their show as they want to. Like this, there's no rewinding by users and Sony can spread the message stepbystep as originally intended, as it would be on real-livestream.
As @JJ2 already confirmed, 4K is coming. Get hyped during livestream and get mindblowned in 4k right after that again.
I must say this article is fine. In my country many gaming websites are presenting almost everything with misleading, click bait articles like “PS5 release cancelled!” until you read more to see that “PS5 release of reveal livestream got cancelled.” and so on. It’s sad what’s happening but it doesn’t seem to me that this article is such a big thing to get extremely triggered about. Even though cudos for deleting this article from homepage and socials to make everyone satisfied.
@Party_Cannon Well DS4 + games were revealed in February and console design in June. Now it's completely postponed so it doesn't struck me wierd to not have a design reveal now. We'll see.
@LN78 I agree. That's right between PS4 - PS3 launch price. I hope for $500 as well, but it would be understandable if the price is higher given the HW configuration. Fingers crossed.
@LN78 "Who cares about the price at the moment" would be better, sorry. But we sorta have an idea about the price range: 450-600. Since everyone is waiting for a proper info about the console, features, games and such, I think price is the last tidbit we need to know at the moment to completely analyse the whole product and decide if it's worth. First and foremost is getting to know at least literally anything about PS5. Therefore I don't believe as well as @jdv95 that we will get to know the price tag during this PS5 'reveal', but personally I don't have a problem with that. Let's just focus now on the good stuff
@LukeOtisSmith Same as in Skyrim VR. You hold the move button to walk forward and tilt the move controller to change direction slightly. Circle to move backwards, X and O on the right move to turn.
Follow PSVR reddit for more impressions.
Hopefully PushSquare will review it!
I seriously don’t believe they’d offer BASE game of Dying Light. If they’d advertise the complete edition then yes, but definitely not like this. There’s a hell of a difference between those two versions of the game.
@DonJorginho If you remember back in the day before release, many were saying that Ellie looks like Ellen Page aka Jodie from Beyond: Two souls whch had similar release date. After that criticism they've altered Ellie's look. So it's only a natural choice to think of Ellen Page now, but I suppose she's too old for that part now.
I wonder - why not to cast the original actors from the game? It's pure logic, nobody else would play the part as good as them. Of course if the case is that the face of the real actor was even used for the game. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
@DiabloSSJ Stupid me, sorry man Well Tomb Raider is possible, but the other two.. don't think so. We should keep in mind we still haven't received Killzone and other old titles. I'd love to get some digital-only title since I have access to many physical games. Fingers crossed
@DiabloSSJ If you like hack'n'slash genre, NieR: Automata is a must. It's not as good as the first NieR, but excells in other ways. Tomb Raider is Uncharted with female protagonist (Rise of the Tomb Raider demo on PS Store).
@RevengeFan Well.. Not sure if it's worth your time without VR. It's a walking simulator with sometimes quite good atmosphere, but 2D would be meh. But for free, why not

Actually the shops aren't to blame. Sony is forcing everyone to have pre-orders open, even if they can't guarantee 2020 delivery.
