Easy mode in Souls formula:
1. Souls, Runes, etc are infinite, so just lvl up and do some grinding at the beginning;
2. Find you favourite weapon and play Style;
3. Read stuff about the game, caracter class creation, and see some play footage;
4. Use online Coop (the easy mode) so others can help you;
5. Use online Coop so you can learn the dungeons and the attack patterns of bosses before you try them;
6. Die, Die, Die - it's part of the experience, so Try, try, try
At the end you will end up with an OP caracter <3
@AFCC The problem is not hardware related. Is dev time. Bad coding (very generic btw). e.g. UE 5 is still not finished. And if you pay attention, the games that don't run great on consoles, also don't run very well on a mid pc, that is theoretically better than the consoles... So even if you spend 2000 euros or more on a pc, you will not run some games very well... And that, in my opinion, is even worse, than the 500 euros price of the ps5.
Another game unfinished and unoptimised, not only on consoles, but also on PC... NPC appearing from nowhere is not acceptable in 2024... It's not an hardware fault, it's bad coding, and not enough time!!!!
Platinum the first one. Great game. With minor flaws in animation. But overall a very good game mixing metroidvania mechanics with the enemy system respawn like souls game.
I finished the first one 100%. I liked it, its a solid 7/10. Metroidvania levels with darksouls mechanics. But for god sake, fix the wierd animations, collisions, and physics.
Witcher is a great game, story and quest side are just incredible and very well done. The world and ambience is also great. But the gameplay and some RPG mechanics aren't. They are mediocre. Small bugs and technical issues also don't go well, its the Achilles' heel of CDPR games. I wish CDPR patch this version so the 30fps raytracing is stable and without insane input lag, because it changes the light in a better way.
That's de problem. You said it all. If Ps5 game ports don't require the dual sense, than dual sense is just a gimmick... And it will be the only differentiation between playing on a PC or on Ps5...
If this continues I'll go back to PC, and Sony can be a software only company.
Elden Ring is a great game. I'm 130 hours in. I don't finish it yet because I took a break from it. I'm writing my PHD thesis ^^.
But even if the world is massive, well crafted, beautiful art and design, I have some things to point out that could be better. First performance... They need to nail that... Second a lot of recycled 3d models. Always the same ***** shack all over the world. Same ruins all over the world, ETC. They could have made some tweaks in this department. 130 hours in the game and you start to see a lot of the same enemies... with little to no diference by regions. You don't feel that in a normal DS game. But I'm being picky. They have a lot of room to improve in this new type of open world formula, and that is good.
I'm still halfway from finishing the game. Have 70 hours in. I take it slow. I'm a mage, so this patch is a blessing . Not so much on the moonveil sword though but I understand ahahaha OP weapon.
I can only speak from my experience. I think if we have an easy mode, it will ruin the experience of theses games. I started playing souls games with DS3 on PC. I was like these people who wants an easy mode. I died a lot. I didn't knew the mechanics of the game. So I had to learned them by seeing other players playing the game. I was always afraid of dying and losing all my souls. But dying is a part of the mechanics. It's not game over. This game don't have a game over. My cousin once said to me: Don't be sad to loose your souls. The souls are infinite. You can get them again and again. That was the spark! These games already have an easy mode. Play them online. Ask to be summon to see how is the boss fight. Learn their movements. Earn souls by helping other players, LVL UP. Help another player again and again. And when you feel confident try the boss for yourself or ask help from another player. That's the easy mode. The coop mode. Thats why Souls games are Masterpieces. The difficulty is on you. The game puts all the cards on the table for you to use them. You just have to try them. (sry for my English)

Re: Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Is the Highest-Rated DLC of All Time
Bring it On. I didn't start NG+ on my first caracter just for the DLC. So I am going straight to it (and I am lvl 167 ^^).
