The DualShock 4 feels extremely comfortable in my hands, but I don't play as much as you. Anyway, an elite controller is always a nice option when you spend many hours with it in your hands and even I would consider getting one if I see myself hooked on a certain game like Street Fighter V for example. And yes they should improve battery life.
@Faruko I often check that website for comparison but I don't think they have fully compared this game versions yet. Yes, performance issues are very annoying. I sold Assassin's Creed IV (Wii U version) 45 minutes after starting the game because of the choppy frame rate. I didn't have a PS4 back then.
I usually enjoy more games with a cohesive story, The Last of Us and Uncharted are great examples. I don't understand why so many people complain about linear games, when they make you feel like you are inside a movie - or story. Project Zero series is one of my favourites. The game most tiresome I've ever played in my whole life -surprised nobody mentioned it- is Xenoblade Chronicles, riddled with pointless and boring side quests, I'm still to beat it.
PS4 is great value at the moment, the library is only growing and the price is good for both 500GB and 1TB options. Plus, some bundles include excellent games or even excellent trilogies like The Nathan Drake Collection.
