Star Ocean seems like a series with a HUGE amount of wasted potential/lore.
I wish they would put alot more effort into this series.

When I first played this game I got a glitch where people's faces disappeared but their eyes and teeth stayed.
It was a jump scare for me to see that and was the first time I seen something like it.

If they didn't want the story spoiled then they should have had a worldwide release since its original launch the story and whatnot have been on the internet.

Laziness may be a factor. I remember reading an article on Pokemon where they said that the Switch was "too powerful" to put a main series Pokemon game onto.
Also a handful of other Japanese developers that use handheld limitations as an excuse.
