In other news- The Last of Us Part II has now passed The Witcher III for most awarded game of all time - according to www.gameawards.net

My refund was already processed. I’ll get it again years from now when it’s been patched to hell and in the bargain bin.

Get mine Friday - was lucky to get it on Bestbuy.com the other day. Downloaded the HotStock app that alerted me when it was available. Make sure to have your account set up and ready to order on each of the retail sites ahead of time.

Awesome update! Hopefully Sony can provide some updates to their first party releases soon too.

Don’t know what everyone else is seeing- nothing in that video looks next gen. Driving, the facial animations, gunplay - all seem outdated. The NPC’s just stand in place.

Debra Wilson of Mad TV fame is also a cast member - very funny lady! Looking forward to playing this with my 7-year old son - he going to love it

Wow! You guys have Ghost ahead of Spider-Man and Horizon- which has got me excited! It's been downloading all morning - can't wait to jump in this afternoon after work. Sony released 4 of the top 10 this year - nice to see them supporting their systems until the end.

Depends on the price. If they go $100 cheaper I might opt for the digital only version. If it's only a $50 difference I don't see the point.

On a somewhat related note - not sure if you saw it or not - but former IGN editor Mitch Dwyer admitted yesterday that the whole Amy Hennig being forced out of Naughty Dog was fake and he was forced to put the false claim and his name on it from IGN heads no longer with the company.
I remember numerous news outlets reporting on it and Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley took a lot of ***** for it.

She's referring to the "ooohh oohh oohh ooh" 's that Ellie sings in the end. They are in her rendition, not the original. Not really lyrics - and again it's a cover of a cover - so I don't think there's much merit there - but I'm sure Naughty Dog will end up crediting and or compensating her for it

@LiamCroft the Days of Play event traditionally has started the same time as Sony's E3 press conferences in the past if I'm not mistaken. Since there is no E3 this year (not that they were planning to attend anyways) I would think Sony would want to line up this event with the PS5 unveiling.

Maybe this confirms the June 4th PS5 reveal date rumors are true? Hopefully they announce it later today.

The Last Guardian was one of my favorite games this gen. Sure the controls were outdated, and the camera could be a little wonky, but the story was fantastic and will stick with me forever. FFVII was also amazing. It's hard to live up to the original - but I think Square really pulled it off and am looking forward to the next parts. Never got a chance to play Shenmue 3 but heard it was loyal to the first two games.

@RBMango remember Detroit: Become Human started out as a tech demo - then became a full game after all of the positive feedback it received - so I wouldn't be surprised if this follows suit.

With the PS4 Pro and Xbox X you could see the power difference didn't matter even before we reached the PS5/Xbox Series X. At the end of the day - it comes down to the games - and Microsoft doesn't even come close to the quality exclusives Sony has.

Too Bad! It was becoming more and more popular online. In fact, some say it was (dare I say).... sweeping the nation!...

Really hope they start heavily marketing it - but probably won't. Still the fan base and word of mouth should help it grow. This can last the next decade with endless fan created games. Can't wait for PSVR support too! Downloading and jumping in as soon as I get off of work.

The advanced AI - calling each other by name and actively hunting you down. The fluid combat animations. Recent demos with the dogs tracking you down. Weapon customization looks awesome too. Naughty Dog really improved upon the game mechanics. This along with what will no doubt be another masterpiece of story telling- just like The Last of Us before it with the PS3- Part II will be a perfect swan song for the PS4!

Love the confidence! With everything I’ve seen so far I have no doubt they will deliver. That on top of Neil’s last 3 games being Uncharted 2, The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 - all consensus game of the year winners. Naughty Gods can’t be touched!

Don’t think they’ll reveal it here. Maybe announce date of reveal event - probably in February. Can’t wait!

Greatest game ever made in my opinion- no other story ever had this much impact on me. Here's hoping the sequel lives up to this masterpiece (or at least comes close)

I'm sure they'll be making PlayStation games again once Stadia goes under in the next three months (if it lasts that long)

It took a while - but the PS4 has become my all time favorite system. So many great games - Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian - to name a few. But what really set it apart for me was PSVR. I got it when it first came out - complete game changer. The PS1 will always hold a special place in my heart though- Crash, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Tomb Raider, Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII- that was the dawn of 3D graphics and completely changed the gaming landscape forever. Can't wait for the PS5 - day 1!
