Playing some more high rank in Monster Hunter Rise. Also going to check out some of the other choices and endings in the FMV game Late Shift. I'm also trying out the new update in Fall Guys, and I'm tempted to get back into Danganronpa 2 and go for the achievements I missed.
The new rounds sound interesting. Slimescraper could be brutal if they've taken inspiration from Slimb Climb, but that's half the fun. I'll check them out later.
More Monster Hunter Rise for me. I've picked up the pace with it, and I'm now nearly at the 6 star high rank quests. Also started playing some Half-Life: Opposing Force.
I haven't. Gory survival horror games aren't generally my sort of thing. However, the tall vampire woman has made me more interested in giving it a go than past games. Shame I forgot to try out the demo.
The livestream put to rest any worries I had about the gameplay. I'm still running whether or not this'll capture the humour of the older Ratchet and Clank game, but so far Rift Apart is looking good.
There is a point in and amongst what he's saying, but at the same time it's becoming less and less tempting to grab a game at launch. With prices going up for the base game, along with Deluxe editions and microtransactions, it's getting quite pricey. Plus too many games release in a poor state.
Playing lots more Monster Hunter Rise. Should also be able to finish off the last few achievements in Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls, and I'll also resume playing Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Papers, Please is one of those games that I initially dismissed out of hand because the basic concept is so dull. However, after watching bits of pieces of gameplay from vtubers, it actually seems very interesting. I'll have to try it out one of these days.
I'd been tempted to pick up Ghost of Tsushima and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim before their discounts expire today, but I might wait until the next sale. There's already enough games that I'm in the middle of playing as it is.
Quickly filling up that pricey SSD was one of my biggest concerns about getting a PS5, so being able to back up games to external storage is a great addition.
I'm making good progress on the village requests with Monster Hunter Rise. Also want to head back to Super Mario Galaxy 2 and finally beat the penultimate world. And going to start working on the achievements for Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls now I've finished the story. Also doing some rhythm game fun with IA/VT Colorful.
This does look fairly interesting. I wonder if it's one of these sequels where you should play the previous game first, of if it doesn't matter. The original DS game is way too rare and expensive these days, and I don't really like using touch controls on the Switch for the remake.
The Collector is the first brand new elusive target to Hitman 3, so that's cool. Plus it's in Dartmoor, which is a good map. I missed The Politician from the Hitman 2 days, so it'll be fun to do that.
I haven't brought the Sin expansion, it doesn't seem worth it at full price (especially as there was already a Deluxe expansion). So I'll skip the Greed stuff.
While it's unfortunate that PS fans have to pay full price for this while Xbox fans get it bundled with Game Pass, it does seem like this story is being blown out of proportion. Sony will still undoubtedly be doing well from the deal, and Microsoft will be paying for the Game Pass privileges.
Lots of Monster Hunter Rise for me. Also continuing with Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. I've reached the end of Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, so time to see about getting the remaining achievements. And I was also thinking about beginning Persona 2.
It's an awful situation for the developers involved, and paints Sony in a bad light. A few months notice when there's still developers actively releasing games for the Vita is far too little notice.
I liked the main game, but didn't have any interest in playing it multiplayer. For the kinds of games that CDPR makes, I'm not convinced that tacked on multiplayer modes will be any good. The single player experience is what they're best at.
3 months is rather short notice for the PS3/PSP games. Sony should have gave much more warning about that. As for the Vita, it seems too early to be closing down its store.
I had been using that old store link. It was easier to find what I'm looking for on it, and had a wishlist system (though they've very recently added wishlists to the new store).
Monster Hunter Rise is the big game for me. I might break up the hunts with some Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, or some Fall Guys.
Thumper, Enter the Gungeon, and Rez Infinite are the ones I'm most interested in trying out. Astro Bot and Moss also look wonderful, though I don't have PSVR.
There's quite a few PS2 games that I wouldn't mind replaying, and some PS3 games that I'd like to try out. Some sort of official emulator would be lovely.
The better the graphics the better, but I never get too bothered by graphics limitations. The concept of avoiding a game just because it's 30fps instead of 60 seems alien to me.
Seems weird to focus on the frames per second boost in the headline instead of the bigger news about the expansions finally releasing on PlayStation consoles.
Anyway, Seal the Deal was so-so, but Nyakuza Metro is really good.
Because if a game was wonderful the first time around, it'll be fun again when revisiting it. Admittedly I've not been replaying games much recently just because there's too many unplayed games I'd like to try.
I didn't know there was a games showcase coming up soon, so that's a pleasant surprise. The Gollum game might be interesting for me, so seeing gameplay footage would be good.

Re: Hades Could Finally Be Coming to PlayStation
I'm surprised it wasn't already on PlayStation. It gets talked about a lot and has a lot of praise, so I just assumed it was available everywhere.

Playing some more high rank in Monster Hunter Rise. Also going to check out some of the other choices and endings in the FMV game Late Shift. I'm also trying out the new update in Fall Guys, and I'm tempted to get back into Danganronpa 2 and go for the achievements I missed.
Re: Final Play At Home Update Includes Free Content for Lots of PS4 Games
Nothing here that interests me. The free games given out previously were cool, so I'm not complaining.
Re: Fall Guys Mid-Season Update 4.5 Arrives Today, Adds New Rounds, Variations, and More
The new rounds sound interesting. Slimescraper could be brutal if they've taken inspiration from Slimb Climb, but that's half the fun. I'll check them out later.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 375
More Monster Hunter Rise for me. I've picked up the pace with it, and I'm now nearly at the 6 star high rank quests. Also started playing some Half-Life: Opposing Force.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Resident Evil Village?
I haven't. Gory survival horror games aren't generally my sort of thing. However, the tall vampire woman has made me more interested in giving it a go than past games. Shame I forgot to try out the demo.
Re: UK Sales Charts: PS5 Roguelike Returnal Off to Slower Start Than Other Sony Exclusives
Only Pokemon outsold it, and it's been hard to find physical copies. Plus it's a new IP, and a more niche game. Second place seems good for it.
The negativity of the headline seems very clickbaity. Judging by the number of comments, it's clearly worked.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 374
Monster Hunter Rise. I've not been playing enough of it lately, so I really want to pick up the pace and make good progress through high rank.
Re: Poll: Are You Sold on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart?
The livestream put to rest any worries I had about the gameplay. I'm still running whether or not this'll capture the humour of the older Ratchet and Clank game, but so far Rift Apart is looking good.
Re: Crash Bandicoot 4 Dev Enlisted for Call of Duty, Er, Duty
That's disappointing. It was nice to have got Crash and Spyro remakes recently, so it'll be a shame to see Activision focus solely on COD.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Has Now Spent Over Four Months Missing from PS Store
Hopefully they get the game in an acceptable enough state so it can come back to the PS store.
Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Gameplay Trailer Looks Simply Sublime
That's looking quite impressive.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 373
Mainly going to be playing some more Monster Hunter Rise, and get started on the high rank quests.
Re: Jim Ryan: PS5 Generation Will Have More Exclusive Games 'Than Ever Before'
Sounds good, though I'm not going to get excited over unannounced games. Once they're ready to show them, then it'll get interesting.
Re: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Brings Historical Court Battles to PS4 This Summer
I'm excited. The Ace Attorney games are excellent, and it'll be fun to see what twists and turns these ones have.
Re: Sony Backtracks PS3, PS Vita Online Store Closures
Good on them for reversing their decision.

Re: Resident Evil Village Demo Confirmed, Early Access for PS5 and PS4 Players
Resident Evil is usually too scary for me, but the tall woman has me interested. I've give the demo a try.
Re: PS Store Spring Sale Refresh Adds Another 250 PS5, PS4 Discounts
I'd been tempted to pick up Ghost of Tsushima and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim before their discounts expire today, but I might wait until the next sale. There's already enough games that I'm in the middle of playing as it is.

Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy a PS5 Remake of The Last of Us?
No, I've never really been interested in that series.
Re: NEO: The World Ends With You Revives the Beloved RPG on PS4 in July
This does look fairly interesting. I wonder if it's one of these sequels where you should play the previous game first, of if it doesn't matter. The original DS game is way too rare and expensive these days, and I don't really like using touch controls on the Switch for the remake.
Re: Elusive Targets Return in Hitman 3 on PS5, PS4 This Month

Re: Sony Game MLB The Show 21 Will Be Free with Game Pass on Xbox, Full-Price on PS5, PS4
Wow, this is a lot of comments. It's a multiplatform game that's heading to Gamepass, which doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 370
Lots of Monster Hunter Rise for me. Also continuing with Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. I've reached the end of Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, so time to see about getting the remaining achievements. And I was also thinking about beginning Persona 2.

Re: Mini Review: I Saw Black Clouds - Interactive Thriller Won't Be Winning Any Oscars
I do like their other games, and this seems like more of the same. So it's probably something I'd very much enjoy even despite its issues.
Re: Rumour: Cyberpunk 2077 Free DLCs Leaked, Suggest Multiple System Expansions and More
If the free DLC is anything substantial, I'll check it out once it releases.
Re: Sony Confirms PS3, PS Vita, PSP Store Closures, Downloads Will Be Retained
3 months is rather short notice for the PS3/PSP games. Sony should have gave much more warning about that. As for the Vita, it seems too early to be closing down its store.

Monster Hunter Rise is the big game for me. I might break up the hunts with some Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, or some Fall Guys.
Re: Here's Your First Look at The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Gameplay
It looks alright I guess. It could still be fun, but I'm not expecting anything amazing from this.
Re: Why You Should Download These Free Play At Home Games
Thumper, Enter the Gungeon, and Rez Infinite are the ones I'm most interested in trying out. Astro Bot and Moss also look wonderful, though I don't have PSVR.
Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy a PS1, PS2, or PS3 Emulator for PS5?
There's quite a few PS2 games that I wouldn't mind replaying, and some PS3 games that I'd like to try out. Some sort of official emulator would be lovely.
Re: Hitman 3 Reveals Seven-Part DLC Campaign, Starting Next Week
Looks cool, but £30 is quite pricey for that. And worth bearing in mind that there was also a paid deluxe pack as well.
I'll wait for the full roadmap of the Season of Greed to be revealed before deciding whether I can stomach this cost or not.
Re: Soapbox: PS5 Has Turned Me Into a Total 60FPS Snob

Anyway, Seal the Deal was so-so, but Nyakuza Metro is really good.
Re: PS3, PS Vita, and PSP Online Stores to Close This Summer, Says New Report
That's disappointing if true. I'll have to have a look on the Vita store later and see if there's anything more I still want to buy on it.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 368
I'm doing some more Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, and Your Turn To Die.
Re: SMT III: Nocturne HD Remaster Dated for 25th May on PS4
Nice. I might get it at some point, but I'm in no rush due to completing SMT IV Apocalypse recently.
Re: Poll: What Free PS4 Games Are You Most Excited to Play?
I do like rhythm games, so Thumper. Enter the Gungeon also looks fun, and maybe Subnautica too.
Re: The Wishlist Feature Has Returned to PS Store on Web Browsers
Lovely. I find wishlists to be rather useful, so it's nice to have them return.
Re: PlayStation Players Get 10 Free PS4 Games This Spring, Including Horizon Zero Dawn
That's quite a genorous giveaway. I take it PSVR isn't required to redeem Thumper? If so, I'll give it a try.
Re: Soapbox: Why Do You Replay Games?
Because if a game was wonderful the first time around, it'll be fun again when revisiting it. Admittedly I've not been replaying games much recently just because there's too many unplayed games I'd like to try.
Re: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum to Debut First Footage at Future Games Show Spring Showcase
I didn't know there was a games showcase coming up soon, so that's a pleasant surprise. The Gollum game might be interesting for me, so seeing gameplay footage would be good.
