Re: You'll Feel the Need for Speed on PS4 Again in 2017

@get2sammyb xD, idk man just found it very boring, no story just basically objectives to complete.

One of my main problems with NFS was that as an "online only" game it had no Lobby system, PVP section, I could only join my friends if we were at the start up screen of the game.

Re: Soapbox: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered's Infinite Warfare Exclusivity Is a Disaster

@DrJoeystein I feel as if it's, Activision knows people are fed up with the futuristic style CODs at this point, but considering there's 3 teams that have a 3 year gap to make their next game IW was probably too far gone to scrap it for something else so they thought "hey, we'll give them MWR to try and ease those cries" but it isn't going down well this could be the worst COD in years (sales wise, it could still end up being a really good game). And, it wouldn't surprise me if the next COD game is a futuristic type game considering that 3 year development time.

That what I really don't understand about COD, they've 3 teams making 3 different games but there almost the same every year? If one team made an old school type COD game, another made a future type one and the third just mixed it up I don't think people would mind, it would be nice to have the change every year. And I ain't even a COD fan anymore since I paid 65€ for Ghosts which I regretted after about an hour of gameplay.

I don't see what's wrong with them only selling it with IW, if you don't wanna pay the high price just buy the normal edition. It was remastered to release an Legacy Editon for IW, not to be sold as a separate game.

If you really only want MW just buy the code of eBay where it'll be near guaranteed to end up after launch.

The only positive I can take from this is hopefully Activison realise people don't want all this futuristic stuff in COD anymore, like you already have a spacey-futuristic FPS with Destiny (which imo is a lot better than COD).

I also feel like this could be the year that Battlefield finally overtakes COD.

Re: Movie Review: Is the Ratchet & Clank Film Worth Watching?

itshoggie

Miss the little review paragraph and rating ye have for games. but I feel like the reviews of this movie are a little hard done considering this isn't no big budget Pixar movie, like anyone who knows R&C or anything about them would know what to expect with this.
I haven't seen the movie but I feel like kids will love it, which at the end of day is what it's made for.

Re: Poll: Do You Want More Family Friendly Platformers on PS4?

itshoggie

Yes! Give me a new or rebooted Jak & Daxter please! Was one of my favourite games on PS2.

But like somebody already mentions Sony has plenty of these IPs but doesn't use them which I think is strange, everybody loves playing games that aren't all serious and are just fun and easy, I'm delighted for R&C hopefully it'll spur Sony on to make more of these type of games.

Re: Feature: The April Update Is a Short Term Fix for a Still Flawed Destiny

itshoggie

Destiny's base game had more content than any other FPS, but people never mention the lack of content in COD or BF.
I loved Destiny, probably my favourite game of the PS4 so far. But I'm sick of running through the same areas over and over again.

The April update was a free content drop to keep people occupied for a few weeks, you hardly expect them to fix all their problems with a free content drop when they can't even do it with a paid one?.

Re: Bungie Really Wants You to Get Back into Destiny

itshoggie

I love Destiny, it's been my favourite game of this gen but, I've had enough of Destiny 1. Bungie should just drop it and focus on 2.

No developer should expect there game to be played so much after nearly 2 years, no matter how many DLC's or content updates they drop. Give people a break from it and let them comeback when there not reusing the same sh*t over and over again.

Re: Ratchet & Clank Looks Like An Achievable PS4 Platinum

itshoggie

@get2sammyb I get that but, any other site that would post an article about a games trophies would post the actual trophies in that article.
Since the only games I play are PS games, this is the only site I check on a daily basis and would like to keep it that way.

Tbh it comes across like a click bait article, where you provide information on information. Like, if I want to read that information I've to click into a link that would take me away from the site I'm reading in the first place.

Re: Wow, Ratchet & Clank PS4 Looks Seriously Sensational

itshoggie

Never really played these games on my PS2, was more of a Jak & Daxter type of guy but, I'm tempted to pick up the first one on my Vita just to give it a shot.
If there's one thing I think the current and last gen (360) lacked was games like this, so out of that point alone I'll think I'll pick this up at some stage.

Re: Hands On: Uncharted 4 Is Bigger and Better Than Ever Before on PS4

itshoggie

This looks f*cking amazing! It's the little things like the shine off the muck or the facial expressions that get me.

Delighted you can explore areas more, always thought this one of the reasons Tomb Raider (reboot) was better than the previous Uncharted games.

Hopefully they don't include some p*ss poor trophy list with this game, like the previous 4.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 6 Is in Production Right Now on PS4

itshoggie

@ApostateMage they might be "free" but you have to put hours apon hours into the game just to be able to afford what's in that content, or else purchase Shark Cards. The in game items that are released are way too overpriced as well, like it cost $8mil for a yacht which is $99 real dollars to buy that with in game cash.

Re: Talking Point: What's Gone Wrong with PlayStation Plus?

itshoggie

@Dodoo id love EA access on PS4, I know there was an article on it here and I'm not sure people cared too much about it but, paying like €4 (I think that's the price) a month for games like Dragon Age, Battlefield, UFC, NFS etc it's well worth it, even if there's only one game on the access list you want you can pay for a months use play that game and let it go then.

Sony could at least give us the opportunity to make our own minds up about EA access

Re: Poll: Would You Sell Back Your Digital PS4 Games for PSN Credit?

itshoggie

I love having the option to trade in games, I'd only use Cex though as GameStop are just rip offs with what they offer ya. I remember when I was flogging off my 360 to make cash to get a PS4 and Cex gave me €110 for about 6-7 games and a few were quite old as well.

I rarely buy games day one unless it's a game I really want, other wise I know I can pick up newly released games over here for 15-20€ cheaper a week or two after it comes out from an advert app, which I can sell on again myself and make money back off the game.

And that's the main thing for me that digital lacks, even though it's only 10% at least it's something.
