CONFIRMED:Horizon Forbidden West shadow drop imminent!!

I subscribed for two years and then dropped it a few years ago. It's just too expensive for what you get.

This kinda looks like an Uncharted or Last of Us game... but with a cat.

Oh good. Carrying my PS5 around all the time was getting exhausting, so this is the upgrade I needed.

The original trailer looked incredible and I was super hyped.
The second reveal looked like garbage and I lost all interest.

Generally I agree with the statement but there is certainly a lot of room for subjectivity here. I personally consider the Crash Bandicoot games and Final Fantasy games to be merely okay.

@Enuo I'm confused as well. Since when does hype look like sorrow? To me it looks like this guy is dramatically weeping over a guy riding a horse. What am I missing here?

I really enjoyed the gameplay of the original except for two things:
1. Not enough environment variety.
2. The anti-gravity segments. Too confusing for my brain.

I hope the sequel can address these concerns.

Deluxe was 1+2 combined, so what is the point of having 1, 2, AND Deluxe?

I hope it runs great on the base PS4. If it's a step down from HZD that would be disappointing.

I will be playing it on a base PS4, so I'd like to know the frame rate and resolution on that.

They'll need to make it F2P in order to get a significant player base.

This anime opening has significantly decreased my interest in the game. The gameplay looks intriguing but the anime flair is a turn off for me.

Really terrific stuff. I've got 8 kids so at any given time only 2 of us can play, but it's really fun even just to watch, which is rare, IMO.

I would be 100% hyped for this if not for the profanity. It feels fitting in games like Uncharted where it comes off natural. But this is just cringe "Let's put in an F- bomb so that all the 12 year olds know it's a cool game."

The traversal looks the coolest thing ever though.

I've been keeping an eye on this game since 2019 and the release date is STILL so far away. The game looks very promising to me, so I'm happy to wait.

But when will THPS3 release as DLC...

Incredible graphics and solid gameplay. I just found the bridge level to be WAY too difficult. Up until then I really enjoyed it though.

Dark Souls 2 on Switch is what I'm hoping for. I just bought it on PS4 but I'd much prefer playing it portably.

Well yeah... I always thought Tom was an odd choice. Drake is effortlessly cool, and that just doesn't match up with Mr. Holland. I knew it would be an odd fit the second it was announced.

I wish it were coming to PS4 as well.

As someone who doesn't have PS+, this is great news.

I can't tell which one is supposed to be old vs new. They're both janky in different ways 🤪

EDIT: Ok, when you click the individual pictures you can see which is original vs new. I actually prefer the look of the original better, minus the red lighting. The new eyes are very unsettling.

I'm just waiting for the PS4 version to hit a deep sale. I spent $90+ on the first Spider-Man (base game+DLC) so I'm not interested in spending a lot for a nearly identical experience.
I am excited to play it though.

I've been waiting for this one! I wish it would get a launch date.

@Rhaoulos As someone who will not be buying PS5 but holds HZD as one of my absolute favorite games ever, I am so grateful that I will get to experience it on PS4.

Horizon Zero Dawn is easily my number one. Uncharted 4 and Shadow of the Colossus are also at the top of the list for me.

Based on the chat, everyone tuned in simply for the Smash Bros announcement (Sephiroth). It was basically the only thing they were talking about.

I'm so glad this and Horizon 2 will be on PS4.

This "data" Sony is looking at is meaningless. I keep at least 150+GB free on my 500GB PS4 (so there's always room to download updates or a new game) but that doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer a lot more space.
If I kept all my PS4 games installed it would take up probably 5 TB.

But will it come back to the app?

This game is easily one of my favorite games on the system. I really hope it gets THPS3 added. I'd gladly pay another $30 for that DLC.

I love the first game but after putting 90 hours into getting the platinum and fully completing all 3 DLCs (and lots of extra just messing around), I'm afraid I'm permanently burned out on this formula.

I'll probably buy it on a $10 sale eventually.
